Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of training and development of human resources based on the work culture of the Politeknik Negeri Medan. For the world of higher education itself, training and human resource development are considered very important, because they have human resources who can meet the operational needs of banks and have a high sense of responsibility for the quality of graduates produced in order to create and fill jobs in the future. The type of research in this research is qualitative with descriptive method. Training and development as well as facilities are factors that can improve employee performance. Especially for the Medan State Polytechnic, the facility factor has a more dominant influence. Therefore, it is recommended that the leadership of the Medan State Polytechnic, in addition to conducting training and development, should emphasize increasing the facilities needed by employees. This can be done by prioritizing the procurement program for facilities that can improve employee performance, such as administrative equipment and transportation facilities.

Abstract

Undang-undang Cipta Kerja Omnibus law telah di sah kan, pengesahan tersebut mendapat penolakan dari berbagai elemen masyarakat. Hal itu disebabkan Omnibus Law UU Cipta Kerja, dinilai akan membawa dampak buruk bagi tenaga kerja atau buruh. Oleh karena itu peneliti melakukan analisis sentimen dalam bidang data mining terhadap UU Cipta Kerja Omnibus law pada media sosial Twitter. Penulis menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes dan KNN sebagai algoritma yang diterapkan dalam system berbasis java untuk memperbandingkan tingkat akurasi dari kedua metode tersebut. Peneliti menggunakan metode web scrapping untuk proses penggambilan data dari twitter secara real time. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa analisis sentimen terhadap data Twitter terhadap UU Cipta Kerja Ombibus law dengan menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes mencapai tingkat akurasi 75% dengan class precision untuk pred. positive adalah 57%, pred negative adalah 72%, dan pred. neutral adalah 54%. Lalu pada metode KNN tingkat akurasi mencapai 88%. Dimana class precision untuk pred. positive adalah 94%, pred negative adalah 61%, dan pred. neutral adalah 58%.

Abstract

Twitter adalah salah satu media sosial dimana pengguna dapat mencari topik tertentu dan membahas isu-isu terkini. Beberapa pesan singkat atau tweet dapat memuat opini terhadap produk dan layanan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat. Data ini dapat menjadi sumber data untuk dijadikan objek penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun aplikasi analisis sentimen yang menerapkan pendekatan Naïve Bayes Classifier untuk mengklasifikasikan kata-kata dan difokuskan pada tweet dalam bahasa Indonesia. Data diperoleh melalui cara web scrapping dan sumber teks yang digunakan sebagai topik bahasan adalah Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap (SAMSAT) Malang Kota. Proses klasifikasi dilakukan melalui serangkaian tahapan seperti preproses (case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, dan stopword) serta proses klasifikasi dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier itu sendiri untuk mendapatkan hasil klasifikasi dengan kategori positif, negatif atau netral. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, algoritma Naïve Bayes Classifier memberikan unjuk kerja yang baik dalam analisis sentimen. Dari hasil uji akurasi klasifikasi yang dilakukan oleh aplikasi menghasilkan nilai akurasi tertinggi pada setiap kategori positif, negatif, netral masing-masing sebesar 82%, 92%, 80% dengan jumlah data latih 200 tweet negatif, 200 tweet positif, dan 200 tweet netral.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of motivation, work discipline and work environment on employee performance at PT Aurora Indah Elektrik. This study involved 48 contract employees as a population with a sample size as large as the population. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and analyzed using the multiple linear regression method with the help of SPSS 24.0. The results of the analysis show that motivation, work discipline and work environment individually and together have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The most influential variable is work motivation. In addition, most of the variation in employee performance can be explained by motivation, work discipline, and work environment, while other factors also make significant contributions. In conclusion, the relationship between employee performance and motivation, work discipline and work environment shows a strong correlation.

Abstract

Employee performance can be seen from the quality and quantity achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given to him. This research aims to analyze leadership, motivation, and discipline and employee performance in the Medan Perjuangan Village Head. The sample in this study was 32 employees at the Medan Perjuangan Village Head. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale, each of which has been tested and has met the validity and reliability requirements. Data analysis used multiple linear regression using SPSS 19.0 for Windows software tools. The results of the partial research show that partial testing for the leadership variable shows a p-value of 0.303, meaning that partial leadership does not have a significant effect on employee performance in the Medan Perjuangan Village Head. The partial test results for the motivation variable show a p-value of 0.009, meaning that motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan Perjuangan Village Head. The partial test results for the work discipline variable show a p-value of 0.000, meaning that discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Medan Perjuangan Village Head. The results of the simultaneous testing of the calculated F value are 512.757 which is greater than 3.33 and the significant value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05 so it can be concluded that leadership, motivation and discipline have a significant simultaneous effect on employee performance at the Medan Perjuangan Village Head.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of human resource development (HRD), organizational commitment, and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT. Langtuhut Karya Medan, with job satisfaction as a mediator. The results show that HRD significantly affects job satisfaction, but it also positively contributes to turnover intention. In contrast, organizational commitment and job satisfaction have a significant negative relationship with turnover intention, indicating that increasing both can reduce employees' intention to leave. Furthermore, job satisfaction proves to be a significant mediator between HRD and turnover intention, as well as between organizational commitment and turnover intention. Based on these findings, the study suggests that the company should focus on improving job satisfaction, clarifying career development paths, and strengthening organizational commitment by enhancing employee welfare and providing appropriate rewards. Future research is recommended to explore additional variables such as work-life balance, transformational leadership, and organizational culture for deeper insights.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of school leadership and teacher professionalism on the improvement of teacher performance in Mataram City, with educational quality management as a mediating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach and uses purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected from all respondents, grouped according to established criteria, tested on each variable, and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method. The results show that the first hypothesis, which states that there is an influence of school leadership on educational quality, is rejected. The second hypothesis, indicating that teacher professionalism affects educational quality, is accepted. The third hypothesis, stating that school leadership impacts teacher performance, is also accepted. The fourth hypothesis, which asserts that teacher professionalism influences teacher performance, is accepted. However, the fifth hypothesis, which indicates the effect of educational quality on teacher performance, is rejected. Conversely, the sixth hypothesis, stating that school leadership significantly influences teacher performance through educational quality, is rejected. In contrast, the seventh hypothesis, indicating that teacher professionalism affects teacher performance through educational quality, is accepted.

Abstract

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini tujuannya ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana karyawan Divisi bagian logistic PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya dapat menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kepuasan kerja mereka. Populasi dan sampel jenuh dari penelitian ini ialah seluruh karyawan karyawan Divisi bagian logistic PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya dengan populasi terdiri dari 38 orang. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan regresi linear berganda dan pendekatan asosiasi-kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode kuesioner menggunakan skala likert, dan SPSS 25. digunakan untuk pengolah data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan (X1), budaya organisasi (X2), dan kepuasan kerja (X3) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, secara parsial dan simultan. Variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan adalah gaya kepemimpinan. Hubungan gaya kepemimpinan (X1), budaya organisasi (X2), dan kepuasan kerja (X3) terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y) adalah kuat, karena nilai R yang dihasilkan terletak di antara 54,2% dan sisanya diperngaruhi oleh faktor lainnya.
