Abstract

The problem of dissatisfaction felt by patients often occurs in health service organizations, especially in community health centers. Public Health Center is the main level of service in the community. Kampala Health Center is the health center with the highest number of patient visits in 2022. There are complaints from patients regarding the services experienced at the Kampala Health Center dental clinic regarding service facilities, so researchers are interested in conducting research related to service quality on general patient satisfaction at the Kampala Public Health Center dental clinic. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality on general patient satisfaction at the Kampala Public Health Center dental clinic. This type of quantitative descriptive research with a research design using a cross sectional approach. The number of samples taken was 54 respondents using the purposive sampling method. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses univariate, bivariate, multivariate analysis or multiple linear regression. The results of simultaneous testing or F test showed that the significance value was 0.000, the coefficient of determination R2 was 0.681, and the t test or partial measurement obtained a calculated t value of reliability of 0.543, responsiveness of 2.454, assurance of -2.261, empathy of 0.967, and tangibility of 3.060. Abstract

The Pharmaceutical Services Unit is responsible for managing health supplies which includes planning, procurement, storage and distribution of drug logistics. This research aims to obtain an overview of drug logistics management in the Pharmaceutical Services Unit of the Pangkep District Health Service. This study uses a qualitative method with an inductive approach. The research subjects were divided into key informants, namely the head of the pharmaceutical installation and ordinary informants, namely employees of the pharmaceutical service unit. The management of drug logistics carried out by the service unit forming the Pangkep District Health Service is not optimal because the planning for drug needs is only based on the consumption method, namely planning drug needs based on data on drug needs at each Puskesmas in the previous year and is not optimal in providing drug storage space due to the narrow storage warehouse. The management of drug logistics carried out by the pharmaceutical service unit of the Pangkep District Health Service has not been optimal in the areas of planning drug needs and drug storage.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of the meaning of work on affective organizational commitment with work engagement acting as a mediating variable for employees of PT X Makassar Region. The number of samples in this study was 247 people. This research examines the indirect effect of work meaning on affective organizational commitment through the mediating role of work engagement. The analysis technique used is multiple regression test with bootstrapping technique and Sobel test. The results of this research show that the meaning of work influences work engagement and influences affective organizational commitment directly. Thus, it can be concluded that work engagement partially mediates.

Abstract

Stunting is a sign of persistent malnutrition during a critical period of child development, especially in the second trimester of pregnancy. This study aimed to determine the causes of stunting in infants between 24 and 59 months. The Kamaipura Health Center in Sigi Regency, Indonesia is the location for the research. Data was collected from January to December 2020 from medical record data. The population consisted of 156 children under the age of five, of which 134 samples were selected using a purposive sampling technique and were divided into two groups: stunting and non-stunting. Analytic test using Chi-square, OR, and logistic regression (p=0.05). Infants who are not exclusively breastfed have a 9.44 times higher risk of stunting (OR=9.44; 95% CI=4.28 to 20.7), according to an analysis with a CI of -95%. Chronic energy deficiency and low birth weight during pregnancy are associated with an increased risk of growth disorders by 5.98 (OR=5.98; 95% CI=2.47 to 14.43) and 4.6 times (OR=4.6) respectively; 95% CI=1.73 to 12.42). In addition, the R-square logistic regression analysis of 0.374 indicates that the overall influence of the variables is 37.4%. A history of exclusive breastfeeding, low birth weight (LBW) babies, and chronic energy deficiency (CED) during pregnancy is strongly associated with the prevalence of stunting. To reduce the prevalence of poor growth, better health promotion is needed from the beginning of pregnancy.

Abstract

Waktu tunggu pelayanan farmasi merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam menilai kualitas layanan rumah sakit. Rumah Sakit Umum Medimas Cirebon menghadapi tantangan dalam memenuhi standar waktu tunggu pelayanan resep obat, yang berdampak pada tingkat kepuasan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Lean Management dalam menurunkan waktu tunggu pasien JKN rawat jalan pada layanan farmasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis Value Stream Mapping (VSM) untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan dalam alur pelayanan farmasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat berbagai faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap tingginya waktu tunggu, termasuk keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, sistem antrian yang kurang efisien, serta tidak optimalnya distribusi resep antara pasien JKN dan non-JKN. Penerapan Lean Management melalui strategi 5S, Visual Management, dan perbaikan alur kerja dengan Kanban berhasil mengurangi pemborosan, meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan, serta menurunkan waktu tunggu pasien secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, implementasi Lean Management dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan farmasi di rumah sakit. Abstract

Etika merupakan cabang filsafat yang membahas konsep nilai, norma, dan prinsip moral dalam menentukan baik atau buruknya suatu tindakan manusia. Dalam kehidupan sosial dan profesional, etika berperan sebagai pedoman dalam pengambilan keputusan dan interaksi antarindividu agar sesuai dengan standar moral yang berlaku. Ruang lingkup etika mencakup etika deskriptif, normatif, dan metaetika, yang masing-masing memiliki pendekatan dalam memahami moralitas. Prinsip-prinsip dasar etika, seperti otonomi, keadilan, kebajikan, dan tidak merugikan, menjadi landasan utama dalam praktik etis. Berbagai teori etika, seperti deontologi, utilitarianisme, dan etika kebajikan, memberikan perspektif dalam mengevaluasi tindakan moral. Penerapan etika dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk profesi dan teknologi, sangat penting untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang adil, harmonis, dan bertanggung jawab.
