Abstract

. The research uses qualitative research with qualitative descriptive approach. The object of this research in SDN Mojowarno 1 jombang district. Data collection thrugh observation techniques, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are carried out thrugh data reduction stages, display or presentation of data and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data using the credibility test, extending the observation and increasing the accuracy of the research.The extracurricular dance activities at SDN Mojowarno 1 primary school are most superior extracurricular activities. And there is also an activity called P5 title. Students who take part in extracurricular dance are presented in the P5 title activity, where they are presented they usually wear dance costumes or simple costumes. After the performance, the students become very optimistic. Extracurriculars of dance at SDN Mojowarno 1 primary school often participates in competitions at the district level. Even as a repsentative and directly appointed by sub-district. Have also won 1 st place from the sub district and 3 rd place from the district.The result showed that the characters of students who take part in dance extracurricular activities have different characters. At the beginning of participating in extracurricular dance activities, there are students who are not confident to display their abilities in public. However, after participating in training every day, students’ self-confidence appears in an confident attitude, has high enthusiasm, has independence and an attitude of responsibility.

Abstract

This research is motivated by many students at SDN Mojowarno 1 whose positive social attitudes are reduced, because parents work until late afternoon and students have no one to monitor. The government decided to run a Full Day School system, which is a full-day school, so that students' social attitudes can be monitored by teachers at school and when they come home from school can be directly monitored by parents. This approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, meaning that researchers will look at the phenomena that occur in schools and conduct interviews with several teachers related to students' positive social attitudes. In this study, researchers used a qualitative descriptive form of research. The results of this study indicate that the positive social attitudes of students at SDN Mojowarno 1 Jombang Regency are: students' positive social attitudes are reduced towards friends and teachers and obstacles in positive social attitudes, namely sometimes students do not listen to teacher advice and repeat these negative attitudes, so teachers are required to be more creative in giving advice and consequences to students when they make mistakes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pre-experimental dan menggunakan jenis rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Pengambilan sampel penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik sampling jenuh dengan instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kritis yang terdiri dari beberapa soal kemampuan berpikir kritis. Permasalah pada penelitian ini adalah kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa khususnya pada materi pecahan yang dibuktikan dengan nilai hasil pretest dengan rata-rata nilai 66,27. Hasil penelitian yang didapat pada penilitian ini adalah terdapat adanya pengaruh dari model discovery learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas 4 SDN Cukir 1 pada materi pecahan, pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 (5%) dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis t untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diperoleh nilai Sig (2 Tailed) 0,00 < 0,05 sehingga Ha diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media permainan ular tangga literasi materi teks fiksi dan nonfiksi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari tahap (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SDN Mundusewu I Bareng Jombang sebanyak 21 siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) Media ular tangga dapat dikatakan valid dan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dengan mendapatkan validasi yang oleh validator ahli materi mendapatkan presentase sebesar 96,10%, sedangkan validator media mendapatkan presentase sebesar 90%. (2) Media ular tangga literasi dapat dikatakan praktis dan layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran dengan memperoleh penilaian hasil observasi dangan presentase sebesar 90%. Sedangkan respon siswa kelas VI terhadap media permainan ular tangga literasi memperoleh presentase sebesar 96.67%. (3) Media permainan ular tangga literasi dapat dinyatakan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran, dengan ketuntasan belajar memperoleh nilai sebesar 81%.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang sangat kaya akan keberagaman flora dan fauna. Flora yang terdiri dari tanaman yang berada di Indonesia sering dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai sesuatu yang berguna bagi kesehatan. Tanaman-tanaman tersebut dapat diolah menjadi obat tradisional berkhasiat. Di dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan sekolah dasar, pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional sangat relevan dilakukan dalam menunjang masyarakat sekolah untuk sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dengan mengkonsumsi obat-obatan tradisional. Di Desa Mejoyolosari, Kabupaten Jombang menjadi salah satu desa di kawasan tersebut yang terdapat potensi tanaman-tanaman herbal yang melimpah, namun dalam sisi pengolahannya kurang akan ilmu pengetahuan. Sehingga tujuan utama dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah membangun pola berpikir masyarakat sekolah dalam memberdayakan tanaman obat keluarga dalam menjaga pola hidup sehat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari : 1) survei dan observasi, 2) sosialisasi, 3) penyuluhan, 4) penanaman, dan 5) pemanfaatan dan pengolahan. Adapun konkretisasi hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan tanaman obat keluarga sangat memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan secara teori dan praktik secara proporsional. Konklusi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah sumbangsih ilmu secara koheren tentang pengenalan dan pengelolaan tanaman obat keluarga sebagai upaya menciptakan sekolah peduli sehat dan peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine how effective the Magic Box media is using the contextual learning model for science and science learning outcomes in class IV elementary school. Quantitative research is the type of research used. By using a pre-experimental design, one group pretest and post-test. From the results of the t test calculation with dk = 18, sig level 5%, the ttable value = 1,734 is obtained, from the t test results the tcount = 16,950 is obtained. The tcount>ttable value is 16,950 > 1,734, so it can be interpreted that HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. The results obtained from the completeness test average pretest 56.0 and posttest 90.5. It can be concluded that the Magic Box media with a contextual learning model approach is effective on science and science learning outcomes regarding body parts of plants in class IV elementary school. Therefore, fourth grade elementary school students can use Magic Box media to improve their high-level thinking abilities. Keywords: Implementation, Effectiveness, Magic Box, Learning Results.

Abstract

Music learning within the Seni Budaya dan Prakarya curriculum at the elementary school level encounters significant challenges related to the effectiveness of instructional methods and the relevance of teaching materials to local cultural contexts. This study aims to analyze the implementation of singing instruction integrated with local wisdom through Kompang art in order to enhance the learning outcomes and motivation of fifth-grade students. Employing a cooperative learning classroom action research design conducted in two cycles, the study involved 30 students as the primary subjects. Data were collected through participatory observation, learning achievement tests, and in-depth interviews. The findings indicate an improvement in the class average score from 70 in the first cycle to 85 in the second cycle, with notable increases in intonation (25.00%) and vocal technique (23.08%). The contextual teaching and learning approach and the integration of Kompang cultural representation were found to be effective in facilitating students’ transition from basic cognitive understanding to more complex vocal psychomotor mastery. These results affirm that the synchronization between constructivist theory proposed by Lev Vygotsky and the reinforcement of local cultural identity through traditional arts can create a more inclusive and meaningful learning environment while addressing the issue of students’ low interest in traditional arts in the era of globalization.

Abstract

Learning models that are enjoyable can foster students' interest in learning and enhance their creativity and learning outcomes. The cooperative type make a match model is a learning model that encourages students to actively search for matching cards containing questions and answers, making learning more interactive and enjoyable. This study aims to: 1) determine the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SDN Diwek I Jombang on metamorphosis material before implementing the cooperative type make a match model; 2) determine the learning outcomes after implementing the model; and 3) determine the effectiveness of the cooperative type make a match model on student learning outcomes. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design type, specifically the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample consisted of 31 third-grade students selected through saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through tests (pretest and posttest) and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive statistical analysis, normality test with Shapiro-Wilk, hypothesis testing with Paired Sample T-Test, and effectiveness test with N-Gain. The results showed: 1) the average pretest score before treatment was 68.13; 2) the average posttest score after treatment increased to 87.87; 3) the Paired Sample T-Test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. The N-Gain test showed an average score of 0.6112 in the medium category or 61.12% in the quite effective category. Thus, it can be concluded that the cooperative type make a match model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students on metamorphosis material at SDN Diwek I Jombang.
