Abstract

Kualitas merupakan hal yang paling penting yang harus terus ditingkatkanoleh setiap perusahaan untuk selalu dapat memenuhi kebutuhan dan keinginankonsumen (Vincent Gaspersz, 2011). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkankualitas produk gerabah ditinjau dari sifat mekanik dan sifat fisik produk. Sifatmekanik yang menjadi fokus penelitian adalah bending strength dan impact strengthyang menggambarkan kekuatan produk gerabah, dan sifat fisik yang diteliti adalahwater absorption yang menggambarkan ketahanan produk terhadap jamur.Penelitian ini dilakukan di sentra industri keramik gerabah Desa Melikan, KecamatanWedi, Kabupaten Klaten dengan objek penelitian tempat duduk gerabah. Penelitianini menggunakan metode Taguchi Multi Respon dengan menggunakan 7 faktorkendali yaitu lama waktu pengeringan, komposisi tanah plastis, komposisi tanahkurang plastis, komposisi pasir halus, komposisi abu jerami, holding time dan suhusintering serta 1 faktor noise yaitu ukuran butiran material. Dari hasil penelitian,didapatkan 3 faktor kendali yang berpengaruh yaitu lama waktu pengeringan, holdingtime dan suhu sintering dengan setting kombinasi level faktor optimal yaitu A1 B2 C2D1 E1 F2 G2. Terjadi peningkatan kualitas nilai bending strength, impact strength danwater absorption dari kondisi awal UKM dengan setting kombinasi level faktoroptimal.

Abstract

PT. Kabelindo Murni adalah sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang pembuatan kabel listrik, kabel telekomunikasi, dan kabel utilitas. Didalam perusahaan tersebut terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi penjualan, salah satunya faktor terhadap kualitas produk yang. Terdapat beberapa jenis cacat yang beragam dengan jumlah cacat yang berbeda–beda pada setiap harinya. diperlukannya penelitian ini untuk menemukan akar penyebab masalah dalam mengatasi produk cacat yang dihasilkan. Ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi atau bahkan menghilangkan penyebab 42 masalah dalam produk cacat untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas proses produksi. Untuk metode yang mungkin digunakan untuk cari tahu akar penyebab terjadinya produk cacat yaitu dengan menggunakan Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) dan Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Berdasarkan hasil perbaikan kualitas yang dilakukan sebelum adanya perbaikan pada cacat berlubang produk NYY Cable yang dimana tidak sesuai dengan standar pabrik, setelah adanya perbaikan yang dimana cacat berlubang pada NYY Cable menjadi sesuai standar pabrik yang dimana tempat penyimanan materil diperbaiki agar tidak terdapat kotoran agar tidak terjadinya cacat berlubang. Setelah peneliti melakukan perbaikan, peneliti mengambil data kembali selama 1 bulan untuk menganalisa apakah dengan melakukan perbaikan bisa menurunkan persentase reject yang sudah ditargetkan perusahan yaitu sebesar 2,0% dan ternyata persentase reject pada produk NYY Cable turun menjadi 3,4% dari awal pada saat mengambil data dengan reject sebesar 5,7%. Dengan ini bisa disimpulkan penelitian pada produk NYY Cable berhasil menurunkan reject.

Abstract

Pasar Rebo District, East Jakarta City has an area of 12.98 , which is 6.90% of the area of East Jakarta City area of 188.03 , with 5 sub-districts, 53 RW and 525 RT and 221,158 people. The Million Orchid Village Program is the main icon of Pasar Rebo to promote its potential to the public. Program still faces several challenges in developing agribusiness and agro-tourism in realizing this program. For example, the orchid cultivation program is still in the pilot stage and funding has not yet been prepared properly, there is no proper business plan and there is limited land to build agribusiness and agro-tourism locations. The aim of this community service activity is to assist sub-district employees in creating business strategies using the canvas business model and SWOT method. The goal is to establish a village of a million orchids that relies on agribusiness and agro-tourism. The activity ended with a Focus Group Discussion, with recommendations for business strategy concepts.

Abstract

Perum Bulog Lebak Branch Office has experienced a decline in commercial commodity sales over the past three years, due to the company's position in quadrant II of the SWOT matrix, where there are internal strengths but faced with external threats. The study aims to calculate the need for commercial rice stocks to achieve the 2023 sales target, analyze the company's position in the SWOT matrix, and determine new strategies to increase sales. The methods used include forecasting with Exponential Smoothing With Trend, which estimates stock needs of 1,121.5 tons and a sales target of 168 billion rupiah. The results of the study show that collaboration with large companies as suppliers is an effective strategy, which has succeeded in increasing sales from 26 billion per month to 43 billion per month, an increase of 40%. The main recommendation is to continue this collaboration to further improve sales performance.

Abstract

The high cost of moving goods in the P3WH1 warehouse of PT Astra Honda Motor is caused by a less than optimal warehouse layout. A layout that does not have good rules will certainly make it difficult for operators to organise items to be stored or retrieved. Because it will require inefficient time and distance travelled in retrieving and storing goods. This study aims to reduce the cost of moving goods through layout improvements with the dedicated Storage method. The methods used include analysing the current warehouse layout, redesigning the layout using the dedicated storage method, and simulating the cost of moving goods before and after improvement. The results showed that the new layout can reduce the cost of moving goods and improve the operational efficiency of the warehouse. Comparison of the results of the displacement distance of the layout before and after improvement is 3,156 m / month. While the comparison of the results of the calculation of material handling costs before and after the improvement is Rp3,828,274.56/year. The main conclusion of this research is that the application of the dedicated storage method is effective in minimising the cost of moving goods. The contribution of this research is to provide practical guidance for companies in designing warehouse layouts that are more efficient and reduce operational costs.

Abstract

XX Milk distributors face the bullwhip effect, which is fluctuations in excess demand due to inaccurate information and a suboptimal ordering system, causing stock inefficiency. This study aims to minimize the bullwhip effect on XX Milk Distributors by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The data used includes demand and sales of SGM Eksplor milk from five major retailers in Bekasi during the period from May 2022 to April 2023. The analysis techniques used include the calculation of the variance coefficient to measure the bullwhip effect before and after the implementation of EOQ, as well as inventory cost analysis. The results showed that the implementation of EOQ succeeded in reducing the bullwhip effect by 11% and optimizing inventory costs with an average savings of 1.24%.Although the EOQ method is effective in reducing demand fluctuations, this study recommends the implementation of additional strategies such as Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment (CPFR) and Vendor-Managed Inventory (VMI) to improve supply chain stability. In addition, the integration of artificial intelligence-based technologies can improve the accuracy of demand forecasting. With a more holistic strategy, supply chain management can become more efficient and adaptive to changing market demand. Keywords: Bullwhip effect, Economic Order Quantity, Supply chain
