Abstract

Technological progress is concrete evidence in life in the modern era. Its urgency has spread widely to various fields. One of them is social media. Social media is one source of information used by the wider community. Nowadays, social media is considered a necessity in life. It cannot be denied that the function of social media is used as a form of convenience in providing or obtaining information covering several aspects, especially in the religious field. Islam utilizes the existence of social media as a means of da'wah. to facilitate and expand regional coverage in accepting Islamic teachings. The research method used is a qualitative method with a library research approach based on previous research. The results of this research state that all ulama agree with the use of social media as a means of da'wah by paying attention to the ethics and norms of using social media. This is believed to be a form of spreading Islamic teachings so that the messages conveyed spread easily. The transition from time to time in conveying da'wah certainly uses different methods. It is hoped that social media will play a role as a means of developing the da'wah methods carried out from the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW until now. So that the urgency of preaching can be conveyed perfectly. From this research, it is hoped that all Muslims can use social media well as a means of da'wah to spread Islamic teachings to a wider scope so that we can apply its essence in everyday life.

Abstract

In modern life, shirk has become a phenomenon that affects both individuals and society as a whole. The purpose of this research is to learn more about the unforeseen threats caused by committing shirk in everyday life. The article identifies the root causes of modern shirk, emphasizes its relevance in a social and spiritual context, and offers constructive solutions to deal with it using an analytical approach of theory and empirical facts. This method is expected to enhance understanding of the complexities of modern shirk and the importance of knowing its negative impact. The results of this analysis indicate that in responding to the challenges of shirk in modern life, preventive measures and appropriate interventions are required from both individuals and society.

Abstract

This article examines the application of Total Quality Management (TQM) in the context of a modern Islamic education system with a focus on integrated quality management strategies. This research is motivated by the challenges faced by Islamic educational institutions in integrating modern quality management systems with Islamic values. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, this research analyzes various literature and documents related to the implementation of TQM in Islamic education. The results show that the implementation of TQM in Islamic education requires a comprehensive and integrated approach that includes three main dimensions: spiritual, academic and managerial. The spiritual dimension emphasizes on strengthening Islamic values in every educational activity, the academic dimension focuses on improving the quality of learning and developing learners' competencies, while the managerial dimension is concerned with effective and efficient institutional management systems and procedures. The study identified several key factors that influence the success of TQM implementation, including strong leadership commitment, the quality of human resources and support from various stakeholders. The main challenges faced include resistance to change, limited resources, and the need to adapt modern management systems to Islamic values. The study also revealed that TQM implementation should take into account the special characteristics of Islamic educational institutions while maintaining Islamic values as the main foundation. The study recommends several important strategies, including the development of a TQM model integrated with Islamic values, the strengthening of the internal quality assurance system, and a continuous competency development program for all institution personnel. In addition, the study emphasizes the importance of building a sustainable quality culture, a good documentation system, and an effective monitoring and evaluation mechanism. Collaboration with various stakeholders and adaptation to technological developments are also emphasized as important factors in ensuring the sustainability of TQM programs in Islamic educational institutions. Artikel ini mengkaji penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) dalam konteks sistem pendidikan Islam modern dengan fokus pada strategi pengelolaan mutu terpadu.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan yang dihadapi lembaga pendidikan Islam dalam mengintegrasikan sistem manajemen mutu modern dengan nilai-nilai keislaman.Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research), penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai literatur dan dokumen terkait implementasi TQM dalam pendidikan Islam.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan TQM dalam pendidikan Islam memerlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif dan terintegrasi yang mencakup tiga dimensi utama: spiritual, akademik, dan manajerial. Dimensi spiritual menekankan pada penguatan nilai-nilai keislaman dalam setiap aktivitas pendidikan, dimensi akademik berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik, sementara dimensi manajerial berkaitan dengan sistem dan prosedur pengelolaan lembaga yang efektif dan efisien.Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor kunci yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan implementasi TQM, termasuk komitmen kepemimpinan yang kuat, kualitas sumber daya manusia, dan dukungan dari berbagai pemangku kepentingan.Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi resistensi terhadap perubahan, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan kebutuhan untuk mengadaptasi sistem manajemen modern dengan nilai-nilai Islam.Studi ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa implementasi TQM harus memperhatikan karakteristik khusus lembaga pendidikan Islam dengan tetap mempertahankan nilai-nilai keislaman sebagai fondasi utama.Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa strategi penting, termasuk pengembangan model TQM yang terintegrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam, penguatan sistem penjaminan mutu internal, dan program pengembangan kompetensi berkelanjutan bagi seluruh personel lembaga.Selain itu, penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya membangun budaya mutu yang berkelanjutan, sistem dokumentasi yang baik, dan mekanisme monitoring serta evaluasi yang efektif. Kolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholders dan adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi juga ditekankan sebagai faktor penting dalam menjamin keberlanjutan program TQM di lembaga pendidikan Islam
