Abstract

Faith, Islam, and ihsan are a unity that cannot be separated. With faith, Islam, and ihsan every Muslim can reach the true meaning of life. Faith, Islam, and ihsan become a combination of elements that are very important to live life. Therefore, Muslims who do not understand the combination of these three elements will not find the true meaning of life. Faith will give birth to Islam, and Islam will give birth to ihsan, from ihsan Muslims will be able to reach the true meaning of life. Faith has six pillars, namely: Faith in Allah, angels, book, messenger, last day, qada and qadar. Islam has five pillars, namely: Shahadat, prayer, zakat, fasting, pilgrimage for those who are able. Ihsan has four pillars, namely: Ihsan to Allah, self, fellow human beings, all creatures. The meaning of life for every human being is different, but the essence of the meaning of life desired by every human being is happiness, both happy in the world and happy in the hereafter.

Abstract

Students critical thinking skills cannot develop appropriately if in the learning process, the teacher is not active. Therefore, to improve students' critical thinking skills, a teacher should choose and use strategies, approaches, and methods techniques that involve students actively in learning, both in manner mental, physical, and social. One alternative learning that provides opportunities for students to develop students' critical thinking skills in problem solving is problem-based learning. This research was a research study literature examining related journal application of problem-based learning to improve critical thinking skills. The findings of this study included: (1) the implementation of PBL has the potential to help students motivate and provide learning experiences; and (2) PBL implementation is very useful in improving students' critical thinking skills, provided that teachers and students can apply each stage of PBL well.

Abstract

Abstract

In modern life, shirk has become a phenomenon that affects both individuals and society as a whole. The purpose of this research is to learn more about the unforeseen threats caused by committing shirk in everyday life. The article identifies the root causes of modern shirk, emphasizes its relevance in a social and spiritual context, and offers constructive solutions to deal with it using an analytical approach of theory and empirical facts. This method is expected to enhance understanding of the complexities of modern shirk and the importance of knowing its negative impact. The results of this analysis indicate that in responding to the challenges of shirk in modern life, preventive measures and appropriate interventions are required from both individuals and society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi epistemologi dan etika dalam konteks eksistensi manusia, khususnya di Indonesia, di mana studi sebelumnya cenderung memisahkan kedua domain tersebut. Alasan penelitian ini didasari oleh celah akademis, seperti fragmentasi kajian filosofis, dikotomi tradisional-modern, serta kurangnya pendekatan holistik yang menghubungkan teori dengan tantangan kontemporer. Melalui pendekatan interdisipliner (filsafat, sosiologi, dan studi kebudayaan), penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur untuk mengkaji aliran-aliran epistemologi (empirisme, rasionalisme, konstruktivisme sosial) dan etika (konsekuensialisme, deontologi, kebajikan), serta relevansinya dengan konteks sosio-kultural Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi epistemologi dan etika tercermin dalam praktik seperti musyawarah mufakat dan gotong royong, yang tidak hanya membentuk pengetahuan kolektif tetapi juga etika komunal. Pancasila berperan sebagai kerangka integratif, misalnya dalam kebijakan Program Kartu Prakerja yang menggabungkan data empiris dan prinsip keadilan sosial. Analisis juga mengungkap bahwa pendekatan interdisipliner mampu menjawab tantangan kontemporer seperti bias algoritma AI dan krisis lingkungan melalui kombinasi epistemologi kritis, etika tanggung jawab, dan kearifan lokal. Implikasi penelitian ini menawarkan model integratif yang aplikatif bagi kebijakan publik dan pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan, menekankan keselarasan antara pengetahuan, nilai etis, dan dinamika sosio-kultural Indonesia. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada perluasan wacana filosofis sekaligus solusi praktis untuk masalah eksistensial di era globalisasi.
