Abstract

The problems faced by students at SDN 1 Lhok Kuala Baro in writing English poetry are caused by limited in vocabulary mastery. The application of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which involves the relationship between written themes and students’ daily experiences is assumed to make it easier for those to put together words and compose sentences. This study aims to describes the effectiveness of using this learning model and also aims to see the development of poetry writing skills toward the grade fourth students in SDN Lhok Kuala Baro. Data were collected through test and observations of 27 students and then analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques and the N-Gain test. The results obtained were that before the implementation of CTL only 16.6% students had achieved good score but after the implementation, the completion had increased to 76.9%. Meanwhile, the N-Gain test results showed an average of 0.571 with an increase of 57.1%, indicating the effectiveness of CTL in improving students’ writing skills. These findings shows that CTL can significantly improve students’ mastery, improve their imagination in expressing ideas and skilled in arranging words.Key words: Contextual Teaching Learning, Poetry Writing Skills

Abstract

Program Penyiapan Keluarga Berencana bagi Remaja (PKBR) dibentuk sejak tahun 2006, kemuadian berganti nama menjadi Program Generasi Berencana (KRR) di tahun 2015. Salah satu tujuan  KRR sebagai upaya preventif dalam mengatasi permasalahan Kesehatan Reproduksi Remaja (KRR) dengan wadah Pusat Informasi Konseling Remaja/Mahasiswa (PIK R/M). dalam implementasinya terdapat banyak PIK R/M di Kota Banda Aceh yang pasif. Metode Penelitian : penelitian kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap informan dengan tujuan melakukan Evaluasi implementasi Program Resehatan Reproduksi Remaja (KRR) sebagai upaya preventif masalah kesehatan reproduksi remaja di Kota Banda Aceh menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process dan Product). Hasil : Analisis evaluasi, komponen contect menunjukan adanya hubungan kerja sama yang baik antara program KRR dengan instansi lain seperti Dinas Pendidikan, Kesehatan dan Kementrian agama. Pada komponen Imput program KRR telah menyiapkan tim penyuluh lapangan dan konselor sebaya dalam menjalankan wadah PIK R/M. pada komponen Process program KRR telah melakukan pelatihan setiap tahun guna meningkatkan kualitas SDM dalam implementasi program KRR. Pada komponen Product telah terbentuknya BKR dan PIK R/M di Seluruh SMA di wilayah Meuraxa Kota banda Aceh.Kata Kunci   : KRR, BKR, Kesehatan Reproduksi, remajaThe Family Planning Preparation Program for Adolescents (PKBR) was formed in 2006, then changed its name to the Generation Planning Program (KRR) in 2015. One of KRR's goals is as a preventive measure in overcoming Adolescent Reproductive Health (KRR) problems with the Adolescent Counseling Information Center as a forum /Student (PIK R/M). in its implementation there are many PIK R/M in Banda Aceh City who are passive. Research Method: qualitative research using a case study approach through in-depth interviews with informants with the aim of evaluating the implementation of the Adolescent Reproductive Health Program (KRR) as a preventive measure for adolescent reproductive health problems in Banda Aceh City using the CIPP model (Context, Input, Process and Product). Results: Evaluation analysis, the context component shows that there is a good cooperative relationship between the KRR program and other agencies such as the Office of Education, Health and the Ministry of Religion. In the IMPUT component, the KRR program has prepared a team of field extension workers and peer counselors to run the R/M PIK platform. in the Process component the KRR program has conducted training every year to improve the quality of human resources in implementing the KRR program. In the Product component, BKR and PIK R/M have been formed in all high schools in the Meuraxa area, Banda Aceh City.Keywords: KRR, BKR, health Reproduction, youth
