Abstract

The purpose of the research to: (1) describe the influence of emotional quotient toward students independence learning, (2) describe the influence of emotional quotient toward students comprehension of mathematics concept of Grade VII students in MTs. Ma'arif Darul Fattah Terpatih Galak Slahung Ponorogo. This research is quantitative researh was using survey method with population is all of student Grade VII in MTs. Ma'arif Darul Fattah with total of all student is 48 students. Then, students were choosed randomly for the sample with total 24 students. The data collection technique in this research are questionnaire and test, whereas the research instrument were using questionnaire of emotional quotient and independence learning also question test about comprehension of mathematics concept. The data analysis technique were using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with analysis of simple regresion which assisted by computer program SPSS Statistics 17.0 for Windows. The result of this reseach indicates that have an significant influence between emotional quotient toward independence learning. Whereas not have an significant influece between emotional quotient toward comprehension of mathematics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan berpikir reflektif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Muhammadiyah Boarding School Jetis Ponorogo pada kelas IX A. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes soal berpikir reflektif dan pedoman wawancara. Tes yang digunakan sebanyak tiga soal. Semua siswa kelas IX A diberikan tes berpikir reflektif. Setelah diberikan tes, diambil 4 orang siswa yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi baik berdasarkan rekomendasi guru dan yang memenuhi indikator berpikir reflektif. Untuk selanjutnya empat siswa tersebut menjadi subjek wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti juga menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa: proses berpikir reflektif siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika adalah cukup reflektif dan reflektif. Siswa yang mempunyai proses berpikir reflektif kategori reflektif, pada masalah yang diberikan dapat memenuhi semua langkah fase dalam indikator berpikir reflektif reacting, comparing, dan contemplating dengan baik. Sedangkan siswa yang mempunyai proses berpikir reflektif kategori cukup reflektif melewati  fase reacting dan comparing saja. Siswa tidak memenuhi fase contemplating karena siswa tidak mampu menentukan maksud dari permasalahan dan tidak dapat menyimpulkan penyelesaian permasalahan. Sebaiknya hasil penelitian ini dijadikan pertimbangan oleh guru untuk mengetahui berpikir reflektif siswa supaya guru lebih mengenali dan memperhatikan berpikir reflektif siswanya saat menyelesaikan masalah matematika karena dapat digunakan sebagai evaluasi hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Nearpod is a web-based media that can be accessed by anyone including teachers and students using a pre-owned gmail account. The presence of this nearpod provides a new color, especially for teachers in developing ideas and at the same time as learning innovations, especially mathematics. Science and technology for the community (IbM) by utilizing the nearpod is one of the community service activities (PkM), especially for MI Muhammadiyah teachers in Ponorogo as a new breakthrough to complete and provide convenience for teachers in providing material information and students easily accessing that information. This “nearpod” web media began to boom in 2020 until now, which adapts online learning activities (on the network). It is hoped that this activity will provide new information for teachers that the nearpod can be used as an innovation in mathematics learning in particular. Nearpod can support mathematical material that can be well designed, so that students will easily understand math material. In addition, with this new normal condition, of course there are still some things that are related to media that can be accessed by students at any time. From this activity, the teacher has been able to create and design learning materials with nearpods for mathematics materials.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika yang layak yang terpenuhi kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi rangkaian tahap mulai dari analysis, design, development, implementation, dan  evaluation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran matematika dengan sebutan “ROPITRI” ini telah terbukti valid, praktis, dan efektif. ROPITRI singkatan dari roda putar trigonometri yang merupakan media pembelajaran matematika materi trigonometri yang berisi penentuan nilai sin cos tan sudut-sudut istimewa trigonometri. Selain itu, ROPITRI juga memuat turunan dan integral sinus cosinus, dan kuadran trigonometri. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan terhadap ahli materi menunjukkan prosentase 75% yang termasuk dalam kriteria “valid” dan prosentasi dari hasil validasi oleh ahli media sebesar 90% tergolong kriteria “sangat valid”. Prosentase hasil uji kepraktisan terhadap guru sebesar 93% dan sebesar 89% hasil kepraktisan terhadap siswa menunjukkan bahwa ROPITRI termasuk dalam kriteria “sangat praktis”. Selanjutnya untuk uji keefektifan ROPITRI, penelitian ini menggunakan skala guttman dan menghasilkan koefisien reprodubilitas sebesar 0,9085 dan koefisien skalabilitas sebesar 0,6216 yang termasuk dalam kategori efektif. Dengan demikian, ROPITRI dapat dijadikan sebagai pendukung dalam pembelajaran matematika yang mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi trigonometri. Kata kunci: ROPITRI, media pembelajaran, trigonometri, motivasi belajar Abstract: The purpose of this research is to produce proper mathematics learning media that fulfill validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research is development research using Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes a series of stages starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this study indicate that the mathematics learning media known as "ROPITRI" has proven to be valid, practical, and effective. ROPITRI stands for trigonometry rotary wheel which is a medium for learning mathematics trigonometry material that contains the determination of the sin cos tan values of trigonometry special angles. Apart from that, ROPITRI also contains derivatives and integrals of sine cosine and trigonometry quadrants. Based on the results of the validation carried out on material experts, it shows that the percentage of 75% is included in the "valid" criteria and the percentage of the validation results by media experts is 90% which is classified as "very valid" criteria. The percentage of practicality test results for teachers is 93% and 89% of practical results for students show that ROPITRI is included in the "very practical" criteria. Furthermore, to test the effectiveness of ROPITRI, this study uses the Guttman scale and produces a reproducibility coefficient of 0.9085 and a scalability coefficient of 0.6216 which are included in the effective category. Thus, ROPITRI can be used as a support in learning mathematics which can increase student motivation in trigonometry material. Keywords: ROPITRI, learning media, trigonometry, learning motivation

Abstract

Mengembangkan kemampuan number sense pada pembelajaran matematika anak usia dini memiliki tujuan untuk menstimulasi kemampuan berpikir sederhana yang dapat membantu anak memahami beberapa konsep nyata. Metode yang digunakan yaitu diseminasi tentang konsep number sense yang sesuai dengan usia dan tahapan perkembangan anak usia dini, pelatihan pembuatan media pembelajaran number sense yang sesuai dengan usia dan tahapan perkembangan anak usia dini, menyediakan kelas pendampingan bagi guru terkait implementasi media pembelajaran number sense yang sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan anak. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu, 1) Kegiatan desiminasi ini berjalan dengan baik yang dilaksanakan secara daring, 2) Pelatihan pembuatan number sense terlaksana dengan baik, dalam pelatihan ini terbagi menjadi dua kegiatan yaitu pemahaman konsep number sense serta demontrasi pembuatan media number sense secara daring, pelatihan kedua dilaksanakan secara luring terbatas dan menghasilkan beberapa produk media pembelajaran number sense, 3) Pada tahap terakhir kelas pendampingan berjalan dengan baik, implementasi media pembelajaran number sense bisa dilaksanakan dengan baik oleh guru dan siswa secara daring.

Abstract

Conditions in the field show that children with special needs who are blind and slow learners still have many deficiencies in math problems. Therefore, there needs to be an in-depth discussion on this matter. This article will describe the process of teaching and learning arithmetic for students with special needs through article analysis so that later it will be known how to ideally carry out numeracy learning for children with special needs through a policy. This research aims to describe the counting process of teaching and learning of students with special needs. This study uses a systematic literature review method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing previous articles related to the process of learning numeracy for students with special needs. Articles are searched by searching for articles using the Google Scholar database. Included in the discussion of this learning process are learning methods and models, learning media, and difficulties or challenges faced by students with special needs and teachers in learning numeracy. The final results of the review can be concluded that the process of teaching and learning numeracy between regular students and students with special needs has several differences, including the number of students, the time of delivery of material, and teaching and learning activities. Four alternative policies are proposed: facilitating accompanying teachers, preparing disability-friendly school facilities, collaborating with institutions dealing with children with special needs, and preparing numeracy media.

Abstract

Background: Pengembangan manajemen usaha produk pertanian mencakup berbagai aspek yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, produktivitas, dan keberlanjutan usaha pertanian. salah satu bentuk pengembangan dimaksud adalah manajemen usaha produk pertanian berbasis e-commerce sebagai langkah strategis yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, aksesibilitas, dan pemasaran produk pertanian. Program ini memiliki tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi mitra dalam pengembangan manajemen usaha berbasis e-commerce sebagai bentuk inovasi baru yang mengadopsi teknologi ke dalam produk pertanian Mitra dari program abdimas ini adalah KWT surya Sembada yang terdiri dari 50 orang anggota dengan latar belakang pendidikan dan pekerjaan yang heterogeny. Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini yaitu sosialisasi pemaparan terkait manajemen usaha dan inovasi E-commerce Swasembada Fresh Farm dengan tujuan agar informasi tersampaikan dengan baik kepada peserta kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Selain itu, kegiatan workshop juga dilakukan dengan tiga tahap, 1) workshop pendampingan produk hasil panen, 2) workshop pengembangan manajemen usaha dan strategi pengembangan usaha, dan 3) workshop pemasaran produk hasil pertanian dengan sistem aplikasi online. Peserta kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah kelompok wanita tani (KWT) Dukuh Plosorejo, Desa Sidoharjo, Kecamatan Pulung, Kabupaten Magetan. Hasil: Hasil dari implementasi program ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman, kompetensi mitra terhadap pengembangan manajemen usaha dan inovasi pemasaran produk melalui penjualan online. Kesimpulan: Dengan demikian sistem e-commerce dapat meningkatkan omzet penjualan dan pendapatan mitra.

Abstract

Many students struggle to grasp mathematical concepts due to conventional, rote-based learning approaches. Furthermore, teachers are often limited in integrating modern learning technologies such as deep learning due to a lack of knowledge and infrastructure. This Community Service activity emerged in response to these challenges, encouraging the transformation of mathematics education through a technology-based deep learning approach. This research aims to introduce and implement deep learning in mathematics instruction at MTs (Islamic junior high school), focusing on increasing in-depth understanding, student engagement, and teacher readiness to use innovative learning approaches. This research used a qualitative approach with a community service approach. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of activities. Data were analyzed thematically to identify patterns and meanings from participants' experiences during the program. The results showed a significant increase in student engagement and confidence in solving mathematics problems. Teachers said the deep learning approach helped them design meaningful and engaging lessons. Students became more active in discussions, more easily grasped abstract concepts, and demonstrated higher learning motivation. Furthermore, several teachers have begun integrating project-based learning and reflection into their mathematics classrooms. These findings demonstrate that deep learning is not just a trend, but a relevant and practical approach to improving the quality of mathematics learning in MTs (Islamic junior high school). The results of this research will form the basis for developing deep learning-based learning modules that can be used across schools.
