Abstract

The learning problem is the low student activity and learning outcomes in Civics learning. What is caused by learning is still one-way, less interesting, fun, and less meaningful for students. Efforts to overcome this by means of the BAUNTUNG model. The purpose of this research is to describe teacher activities, analyze student activities and improve learning outcomes. This study used Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in four meetings. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SDN Kelayan Timur 5 with a total of 25 students. This study uses qualitative and quantitative data obtained through observing teacher activities, observing student activities and written tests in groups and individually. The results of this study indicate that teacher activities were carried out with the criteria of "Very Good" at meeting 4. Student activities at meetings 3 and 4 achieved the criteria "Almost All Active". The classical completeness of student learning outcomes increased at the meeting of 4 cognitive aspects 100%, 100% affective and 100% psychomotor. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the BAUNTUNG learning model can increase student learning activities and outcomes in PPKn Theme 8 Grade V SDN Kelayan Timur 5 content. It is recommended to use this model as an alternative in increasing student activity and learning outcomes. Keyword: Learning Activities, Learning Outcomes, BAUNTUNG.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that not all students can do math calculations well. This can be seen when students carry out exercises on matrix material and the application of linear functions in economics that require numerical skills, namely the addition and subtraction of integers. There are still many students who are confused in doing the exercise, especially with quite large numbers such as tens and hundreds. At the time of doing the distribution of many students who hesitate in doing it. Likewise with multiplication, there are even some students who have not memorized multiplication from 1 to 10. From this the researcher concludes that not all students have good numerical skills, so that students in working on math problems tend to experience difficulties and cause students' low economic mathematics learning outcomes. The average student learning outcomes are still below the minimum standard, in this case it can be seen from the midterm exam scores in mathematics economics management students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sumatera Barat. So, one of the factors that influence students' learning outcomes in economics mathematics is numerical ability. This type of research is ex post facto correlational research, namely research that is intended to determine whether there is a relationship between two or several variables. The population in this study were all management students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sumatera Barat, who took four classes of economics mathematics, consisting of 128 students. The instruments used in this study were numerical ability tests and learning achievement tests. The analysis used in this research is linear correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between numerical ability and the learning outcomes of economic mathematics students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sumatera Barat. This is also seen from the value of the correlation coefficient , the correlation coefficient when seen in the table of the level of closeness of the relationship between X and Y variables, then the level of closeness of the relationship is in the medium relationship category because it is in the range. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between numerical ability and the results of learning economics mathematics from students of management at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the development of economic education in Indonesia which focuses on bank management and entrepreneurship, analyze the factors that influence the successful implementation of economic education related to these two fields, and develop recommendations for developing a more effective economic education curriculum to improve financial skills and entrepreneurship among students. The method used in this literature study is library research, which involves collecting data through various library sources such as books, encyclopedias, documents and scientific journals. Overall, the results of previous research show that although there has been progress in the development of economic education with a focus on bank management and entrepreneurship, there are still many challenges that need to be overcome. Economic education in Indonesia needs to further strengthen practical aspects and skills by collaborating with the industrial world and the financial sector to provide real experience to students. Apart from that, integration between bank management and entrepreneurship in the economic education curriculum will be more optimal if it is supported by adequate facilities, teacher training and the use of technology. Therefore, it is recommended that the government, educational institutions and the private sector can work together to strengthen educational curricula that are more relevant to market needs and global economic challenges.

Abstract

Corruption is a criminal act that is an extraordinary scourge of a country where the consequences are not only detrimental to the country but also hamper development in that country. In Supreme Court decision no. 2205 K/Pid.Sus/2022, a person caught in a corruption case decided to go free on the pretext that there was no agreement between the gratification and the person who received it. This research aims to find out how the dolus element is applied in the offense of gratification based on the Corruption Law. The research method used in this research is a normative juridical approach, namely research that analyzes statutory regulations and how they are implemented. The results of this research indicate that the application of dolus in gratification offenses is based on Law no. 20 of 2001 Amendment to Law no. 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption Crimes in Decision No. 2205 K/Pid.Sus/2022 lies in the existence of an agreement (meeting of minds) between the two parties as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) and in this case no evidence of such agreement was found.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the evolution of the teacher's role in the technological era, specifically in the context of teaching adaptation in the digital age. Through a literature review approach, this study analyzes various relevant literatures on how technology has changed the way teachers interact with students and design learning. The main findings indicate that the teacher's role has transformed from a traditional instructor to a more dynamic and interactive learning facilitator, thanks to the use of technology. However, challenges such as limited digital skills among teachers and infrastructure gaps remain significant barriers to the implementation of technology in the classroom. Additionally, this study found that the use of models such as SAMR can guide teachers in integrating technology more innovatively. The study concludes that to maximize the benefits of technology in education, teachers need to continuously develop their digital skills through ongoing training and enhance educational infrastructure equitably.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the literature on economic education in the context of economic development and its connection to a nation's growth. Economic education not only focuses on understanding basic economic concepts but also serves as an investment in developing skilled and productive human resources. Based on the analysis of economic theories such as the human capital theory (Schultz, 1961) and endogenous growth theory (Romer, 1990), this study finds that economic education has a significant impact on improving workforce quality, fostering innovation, and enhancing a country's economic competitiveness. Moreover, economic education can help reduce socio-economic disparities by providing broader access to the knowledge and skills needed in the global economy. Thus, economic education plays a crucial role in promoting sustainable and inclusive economic development. The findings of this study indicate that the development of a relevant and high-quality economic education system is essential to prepare human resources capable of facing future challenges and contributing to long-term economic growth.

Abstract

The transformation of learning in the digital era has brought significant changes to teaching methods and educational media across various levels of education. This article aims to review the literature on innovations in digital learning methods and media, identify the challenges faced, and explore opportunities for developing more effective and contextually relevant learning approaches. The method employed is a qualitative literature review with content analysis of 30 scholarly sources systematically selected from reputable databases. The findings indicate that digital learning innovations such as blended learning, flipped classrooms, and the use of interactive media positively contribute to student engagement and learning outcomes. However, the implementation of these transformations still faces obstacles, including limited teacher competencies, unequal infrastructure, and a lack of systematic policy support. This study emphasizes that the digital transformation of learning must be accompanied by a shift in pedagogical paradigms and institutional support to ensure that technology is meaningfully optimized. Accordingly, this research provides a scientific foundation for developing inclusive and sustainable digital learning strategies for the future.
