Abstract

Implementasi metode pembelajaran yang menuntut siswa aktif dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar yaitu pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) merupakan inovasi dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) terhadap ketuntasan belajar siswa materi pecahan di kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Sempu. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode validasi alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa, metode observasi, tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengambilan responden dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling yaitu penentuan sampel secara acak. Responden pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIIB dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 35 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dilihat dari hasil perolehan observasi dari keefektifan pembelajaran untuk skor rata-rata pengelolaan kelas dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) pada materi pecahan dari 35 siswa mendapatkan kategori baik. Dengan data tes siswa yang memenuhi nilai KKM sebanyak 83% dan nilai yang tidak tuntas sebanyak 17%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingkat ketercapaian dari keefektifan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa (LKS) pada materi pecahan diatas 75%. Jadi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa ini dikatakan efektif karena memenuhi kriteria keefektifan yang ditetapkan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan menggunakan alat peraga dan lembar kerja siswa efektif terhadap ketuntasan belajar materi pecahan di kelas VIIB SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Sempu.

Abstract

During the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic, educational establishments encounter difficulties in providing comprehensive learning experiences due to the unpredictable circumstances caused by the pandemic. Hence, it becomes crucial for these institutions to prioritize the adoption of digitalized education that allows for accessibility at any time and from any location. However, the field of light vehicle engineering faces its own set of challenges when it comes to delivering intricate materials, primarily due to the size and intricacy of the learning resources. To tackle this issue, a novel approach has been introduced in the form of Virtual Reality (VR)-based learning methods, which prove to be invaluable tools in enhancing comprehension of the subject matter.

Abstract

This article discusses safety regulations during the welding process to reduce the risk of workplace accidents, long-term health consequences, and improve the quality of finished products. The study examines various international safety regulations, practical safety measures, and incidents involving welding. An important first step in increasing employee awareness and understanding of the potential risks that may arise during the welding process is safety socialization. Risks associated with welding include exposure to UV light, hazardous gases, sparks and high temperatures, which, if not managed appropriately, can jeopardize worker health and safety. Therefore, to ensure the best possible implementation of occupational safety standards, organized teaching initiatives through outreach are required. Personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, handling of dangerous goods, risk mitigation and emergency response training are examples of socialization activities. A thorough understanding of welding safety is believed to reduce the number of workplace accidents, increase output, and make the workplace safer. This community service focuses on conducting welding and work safety training for home welding workshop businesses in Balak Village, Songgon District, Banyuwangi Regency. The application of safety standards to the welding process aims to evaluate the effectiveness of welding safety socialization in improving workers' compliance with safety procedures, while providing recommendations for optimizing future training programs.

Abstract

Absract - In the use of water faucets, we often cannot avoid interaction. The application of the internet of things on water faucets is an effort to minimize interactions when doing personal hygiene. This IOT-based water faucet mechanism utilizes body sensors, so that when someone approaches the faucet, the water will automatically come out without having to be rotated first. Abstract

This paper describes the potential for attendance at Banyuwangi 1 State Vocational High School. The attendance system used is manual and does not optimal. The attendance based on face detector is proposed to determine the performance of employees and students. Face attendance is used to prevent employees from being absent from work and students not attending school. The results of the face detector show that the performance of employees and students can support the learning process in schools.

Abstract

Banyuwangi Regency is one of the participating districts in order to accelerate local economic growth through the tourism industry. Banyuwangi Regency has a very diverse appeal in the tourism sector. There are natural sights such as beaches, mountains, forests, national parks, culture, and others. Grand Watudodol Beach is a beach that has trip packages for water tourism to Menjangan Island and Tabuhan Island. The tour package is only focused on water travel, but the beach (costal) has not been explored much and the visitors just sit back and do not enjoy the natural resources available at Grand Watudodol. In the digital age, the use of technology as a means of promotion, especially for the world of tourism, has become one of the marketing strategies. One of the uses of this technology is the creation of tour package barcodes at Grand Watudodol. A bar code (or barcode) is a collection of data that can be read by a machine, this barcode works by the system collecting data in widths (lines) and space parallel lines which is referred to as a barcode or linear symbology. Based on the results of community service activities, it was found that the use of barcodes in the medium for conveying information on tour packages can attract buyers, especially the effectiveness in displaying package descriptions to make it easier and more efficient so that tourism business development can compete.

Abstract

The problem of waste and used oil waste is a serious challenge in environmental management. Waste that is not managed properly can pollute the environment, while used oil that is disposed of carelessly has the potential to pollute soil and water. This research aims to design and test a used oil-fueled garbage burner as a solution in reducing environmental impacts. The research method used is the experimental method, which includes designing, manufacturing, and testing the burner. Tests were conducted to measure combustion efficiency, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions. Data were collected through direct observation and quantitative analysis using a gas analyzer to measure the levels of CO, CO₂, SO₂, NOx, and particulates produced. The results show that this device is able to burn waste more efficiently than conventional methods. The use of used oil as an alternative fuel also helps reduce oil waste that is harmful to the environment. However, although the burner significantly reduced the volume of waste, the exhaust gas analysis showed that improvements in the emission filtering system are still needed to minimize the impact of air pollution. In conclusion, the used oil-fueled waste burner can be an innovative solution in waste and waste oil management, but it needs further development to improve its environmentally friendly aspects. The recommendation of this research is the implementation of an exhaust gas filtration system as well as further testing to adapt the appliance to applicable environmental standards.
