The data were analyzed using chi square test and linear regression with dummy variables to assess the effect of the dependent variable through independent variables. the results showed that there was a statistically significant dietary pattern of obesity 0.001 (p = 0.005) and the dietary B constant value of 26, 56, 2.21, which means that if a person with a diet is not good as a single risk factor then the body's BMI will increase by 2.21 kg / m2 from the base value of 26.56 kg / m2. And there is a statistically significant relationship between physical activity towards obesity 0.032 (p = 0.05) and B value from the constant physical activity is 26.56, -1.77 means if the respondent has a risk factor in the form of mild physical activity which is also a factor the respondent's single risk of eating will experience an increase in body BMI of 1.77 kg / m2 from the base value of 26.56 kg / m2. while other risk factors such as sleep duration (p = 0.220), snacks (p = 0.1552), socioeconomic status (p = 0.060), school role (p = 0.721), and gadged usage duration (p = 0.274) has a value of p> 0.05, which means that the risk factors did not provide a statistically significant influence on the increase in BMI in the respondents in this study. It is hoped that the school will pay more attention to the nutritional state of the students in the school.

Methods: This research is a quasi-experimental study with a pretest-posttest design with control group design, the results of the research were processed using paired sample t-test. The data collection of this research uses a checklist of observation sheets to assess the ability attitudes of nurses to communicate SBAR using a questionnaire. Results: this study showed a significant difference in the attitudes of nurses in improving patient safety after being given SBAR communication materials with p-value < 0.05. Conclusion: This study showed significant differences in the attitudes of nurses after being given SBAR communication training in the intervention group. Meanwhile, the control group showed a non-significant difference. This showed that SBAR communication materials affect the attitudes of nurses in improving patient safety.

Abstract

The pharmaceutical installation of Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe currently uses the consumption method in controlling drug supply, this method has a weakness, in the shortcomings and advantages of drugs that are difficult to rely on, but the ABC-EOQ-ROP-SS method can answer the weaknesses of the consumption method. The purpose of this study is to provide a choice of other methods for controlling drug inventory at Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe. This study is a mix-method study with retrospective data for quantitative data and primary data for qualitative data. The study was conducted at Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe from October 2021 to November 2021. The research population used was all drug items during August 2020, totaling 269 items. The ABC method is used to group drug items into 3 groups, the EOQ method is used to determine the number of drugs to be ordered in the next order, the ROP method is used to determine when to order drugs at the next time and the SS method is used to determine safety stock. The results showed the results of the ABC method group A were 59 items, B were 64 items, and C were 146 items, the results of the EOQ method group A were 414 - 159, B was 414 – 159, and C was 778 - 1407 for certain types of drugs, the results of the method The ROP of group A were 12,027 – 962, group B was 6014 – 20,045 and group C was 3007 – 200 for certain types of drugs. The results of the SS method group A were 627 – 50, B was 314 -1054, and C was 157 – 11 for certain drug groups. Suggestions for Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe to try methods of controlling drug supplies other than the consumption method so that efficiency in managing drug supplies can be increased. good and can provide training to human resources at the pharmacy installation of Arun Hospital Lhokseumawe related to controlling the supply of drug needs.

Abstract

Healthcare acquired infections/HAIs (nosocomial infection) is a growing problem in developing and developed country around the world and one of the contributing factors in the increasing of morbidity, mortality and cost of treatment in hospital. One way to prevent HAIs is by increasing adherence of hand hygiene practice in healthcare workers, including nurses, especially in rooms with high risk of HAIs incidents. This study aims to understand the effect of health belief model (HBM) on the adherence of hand hygiene practice of nurses in rooms with high HAIs risk. A total number of 170 nurses who worked in high HAIs risk enrolled in this study. All nurses then asked to fill questionnaire which consist of demographic factors, experience, personal beliefs, cue to action, and self-efficacy. During this study, all nurses hand hygiene practice also observed directly by researcher. This study found that demographic factor, personal belief, cue to action and self-efficacy have no significant relationship with hand hygiene practice adherence (p>0.05), whilst modifying factor like experience shown to have significant relationship with adherence of hand hygiene practice (p<0.05). Demographic factor, personal belief, cue to action, and self-efficacy component of HBM can’t predict the adherence of hand hygiene practice. However, modifying factor in HBM such as experience can predict the adherence of hand hygiene practice.

This observational analytic study uses a Cross Sectional design. Chi square statistical test and multiple logistic regression regression were used to analyze data. The population and sample size in this study were 92 nurses where data collection was taken from the results of the questionnaire. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that there was a relationship of knowledge, skills, behavior, potential, education, experience, and motivation with the quality of nursing services at the kolonel abunjani bangko Hospital in 2019. The results of multivariate analysis showed that experience was the most dominant variable affecting quality service. Conclusions obtained are the relationship of knowledge, skills, behavior, potential, education, experience, and motivation of nurses with the quality of nursing services in kolonel abunjani bangko Hospital in 2019. It is recommended to the hospital, to continue to improve knowledge, skills, behavior, education, experience, and continuous motivation. Abstract

A good work program is needed by using the WISN (Workload Indicators of Staff Needing) method, which helps see the workload given to and received by medical workers in health facilities. This study aims to determine the appropriate number of employees using the WISN (Workload Indicators of Staff Needing) method to reduce the workload in the hospital's medical rehabilitation polyclinic. This research is a descriptive study with quantitative data analysis conducted at the H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Hospital in 2021. The data taken is medical record data on the total number of patient visits at the medical rehabilitation polyclinic and staffing data for the rehabilitation polyclinic. H. Abdul Manan Simatupang Kisaran Hospital. We found a relatively high number of visits at the Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic; the workforce data obtained totaled four employees who handled patients directly. The study's results found that the available work time was not directly proportional to the existing standard workload, where the available work time is 135,360 minutes per year while the Standard Workload is 347,424 minutes per year. The workload in the Medical Rehabilitation Polyclinic is too high, and we can obtain the cause from the number of operational staff on duty.
