Abstract

The majority of people living in Kelurahan Batang Beruh, Sidikalang Sub-district, Dairi Regency are school-age children between 6 and 12 years old. Children at this age are active learners. Therefore, innovation is needed in the organization of tutoring and reading terraces to increase insight, information and knowledge. Because with knowledge, children can at least begin to understand what they have ignored and considered unimportant, and turn it into something useful to improve their lives. The existence of reading fun for kids aims to stimulate children's interest in learning and reading, provide reading materials and places to study, provide satisfaction for parents for their children's love of learning and is a solution to increase motivation. improve and encourage learning and reading. The method used in this research is a qualitative method. This method keeps the data obtained from interviews and documents, but describes the activities more clearly and in detail. This activity aims to stimulate interest in learning and instill reading habits in children

Abstract

Spiritual education in early childhood is an important foundation in shaping their character and morality. Proverbs 6:6-9 provides an important analogy of perseverance and hard work through the example of ants, which can be used as a foundation in educating children to have good habits, discipline, and responsibility from an early age. This article discusses the importance of education and spiritual development for early childhood based on the wisdom found in the book of Proverbs, as well as practical strategies in implementing it in everyday life. Throughout the activity, the PkM team observed that the children were very enthusiastic about the event from start to finish.

Abstract

Children with special needs are children born with special needs that are different from humans in general and require special services. A person with a barrier of intelligence has been assured that he is a person with a disability. Children with tunagrahita have a tendency to care less about the environment, either in the family or the surrounding environment. Society generally recognizes tunagrahita as mental retardation or mental retardation or idiot. According to Kustawan, D. (2016) is a child who has a significant intelligence below average and accompanied by an inability to adapt the behavior that emerged in the development period. He also said that children with tunagrahita have academic obstacles such that in the learning service requires modification of curriculum that suits their particular needs. In line with the opinion of Kustawan that children with tunagrahita have barriers in processing learning for children in general. Although child retardation has these barriers, it does not close the opportunity to receive proper and proper education both at home and especially at school. In order for a child with tunagrahita to have a bright future, just like a child in general.
