Abstract

One of the efforts to reduce the risk of infant mortality (IMR) such as premature birth, sepsis and pneumonia, shortness of breath and trauma and LBW is the visit of newborns (neonatal). Newborn visits are one of the intervention options to reduce newborn mortality and comprehensively measure the capacity of care to provide healthy newborn delivery services for mothers and children. The reduction in infant mortality must be accompanied by a high coverage of newborn visits. Reducing infant mortality is currently not up to par, so the quality of newborn care visits should be investigated more closely. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of neonatal visit services at the Dolok Merawan Health Center, Serdang Bedagai Regency in terms of aspects of physical appearance (tangible), reliability (reliability), ability to understand (emphaty), responsiveness (responsiveness), and assurance of certainty (assurance). This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection was carried out in the form of observations, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGD) using the analytical technique. The results of the research conducted provide a statement that the quality of neonatal visit services has not run optimally. Of the five dimensions of service quality, there are four (4) service dimensions that are not optimal in supporting patient satisfaction. These four things are the midwife did not prepare a complete examination and only weighed, measured the temperature and recorded it in the visit book; midwives do not always make complete neonatal visits, lack of time for neonatal visit services, midwives rush to explain their illness, cramped neonatal visit service rooms where examination rooms are not separated from one another, and inadequate waiting rooms. Suggestions for institutions related to chair facilities in the waiting room are added to review and collect data on tools and facilities at the Puskesmas to procure or add and improve professionalism in carrying out neonatal visits.

Abstract

Hypertension has become one of the non-communicable diseases with the most affected case growth rate in the contemporary era, especially in rural areas. Community involvement is very important in the success of hypertension prevention programs. The elderly are susceptible to hypertension because body functions decline with age. Other factors that play a role are unhealthy lifestyles, such as the tendency to consume junk food, smoke, drink alcohol, and rarely exercise. Junk food is usually high in calories, fat, salt (sodium), and low in fiber, which can trigger high blood pressure. Cigarettes are also dangerous because the nicotine content can stimulate the release of adrenaline, which can trigger adrenaline secretion. Analysis of community involvement to see the extent to which the community of Perbarakan Village, Pagar Merbau District, participates in the hypertension prevention program. Activities through counseling, blood pressure checks, and training of posyandu cadres. The method used is participatory and directly involves residents, especially the elderly and health cadres. Activities are carried out through health counseling, blood pressure checks, and training of posyandu cadres. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires to determine community understanding and participation. The result is that the community already understands hypertension well enough, but active involvement still needs to be improved with a pre-test score of 16.20, while after counseling it increased to 18.86. Therefore, a stronger communication and empowerment strategy is needed so that the community wants to live a healthy life sustainably.

Abstract

Red chilliĀ is a plant that has always been the subject of discussion because it can cause inflation in Indonesia. Even though demand is high, the lack of goods causes prices to soar. One effort to increase red chilli productivity is the use of fertilizer. The Center for the Study and Application of Technology (BPPT) has produced superior biological fertilizers, namely BOC-SRF Biological Fertilizers, which farmers use on red chilli plants. Farmers as consumers certainly feel satisfied or not after using this fertilizer or other biological fertilizers; therefore, it is necessary to research the level of satisfaction of farmers regarding the use of BOC-SRF Biofertilizer and Biological Fertilizer Hayati BOC-SRF with Hayati X in Sukatani Village, Pacet District, Cianjur Regency with 40 farmers as respondents. The analysis method uses the Customers Satisfaction Index (CSI), Important Performance Analysis (IPA) and Diagonal Analysis (Suharjo Split). As a result, farmers were very satisfied with the performance of BOC-SRF biofertilizer (CSI: 81%), while farmers using X biofertilizer were satisfied with an index value of 74.4%. The attribute that is the main priority but performs poorly when using BOC-SRF biological fertilizer is the "productive period". In contrast, for X biological fertilizer, it is the "productive period and production yield". The analysis of service efficiency levels showed that over-service occurred in the HPT resistance attribute of BOC-SRF biofertilizer, while other attributes experienced under-service. At the level of biofertilizer service efficiency X, all attributes are experienced under service.
