Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that most often attacks the lungs and is caused by a type of bacteria, namely Mycobacterium tuberculosis. WHO explains that in 2022, an estimated 10.6 million people will suffer from tuberculosis worldwide, including 5.8 million men, 3.5 million women and 1.3 million children. In 2022, as many as 1.3 million people in the world will die from TB, including 167,000 people with HIV. Based on data from the North Sumatra Provincial Health Service, the number of tuberculosis cases in North Sumatra was found to be 34,714 cases. In men, there were 22,455 cases or 64.69% and in women, there were 12,259 cases or 35.31%. Tuberculosis cases in Medan City were found to be 10,050 cases. According to gender, the number of Tuberculosis cases in the city of Medan in men was 6,400 cases amounting to 63.68%, higher than Tuberculosis cases in women, namely 3,650 cases amounting to 36.32%. This research aims to determine the incidence of Tuberculosis in the city of Medan descriptively. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional research design using secondary data on National TB Control which has been data collected by the North Sumatra Provincial Health Service in 2023.

Abstract

As a result of their learning, students, teachers, and the school community practice clean and healthy living habits in the school. Problems that arise in primary schools show that students do not practice clean and healthy behaviours, such as rarely washing hands with running water and soap, rarely using healthy latrines, and rarely throwing garbage in its place, and that there are several cases of incidents such as diarrhoea, worms, typhoid, and ulcers. This study aims to identify the characteristics of clean and healthy behaviours in students at 5 Pancur Batu Primary School. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires on questions regarding healthy living behaviour and general questions covering health problems. The percentage of the indicator of healthy snack consumption in the school canteen has reached 81%. The percentage of indicators using clean and healthy latrines was as much as 78.6%. The percentage on the Regular and Measured Exercise indicator, obtained as much as 93.3%, looks almost perfect. Furthermore, 87.1% of the last indicator, eradicating mosquito flicks, was obtained. The percentage of students of Pancur Batu Primary School who have carried out clean and healthy living behaviour is 66.4%. Clean and Healthy Lifestyle education can increase knowledge about how to live a healthy life in the school environment so that students and students avoid disease. Increasing the knowledge and skills of students was carried out using lecture and demonstration methods. Because of the gallon sink, Pancur Batu primary School students can wash their hands before and after eating to avoid disease. Students also learned about personal hygiene, which is important for health.

Abstract

Film Serial Musikal Nurbaya merupakan film yang menjelaskan mengenai diskriminasi yang terjadi pada kaum perempuan Minangkabau, tentu hal ini sangat bertentangan di dalam kebudayaan Minangkabau yang menganut sistem matrilineal, di mana perempuan adalah figur sentral dalam keluarga maupun masyarakat. Kondisi seperti ini mendorong munculnya kelompok feminisme dalam film tersebut untuk mengembalikan kedudukan perempuan Minangkabau. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi feminisme yang terdapat pada Serial Musikal Nurbaya. Penelitian jenis kualitatif digunakan dengan pendekatan interpretasi budaya. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah unsur sinematik berupa mise en scene dan narasi dalam dialog pada film Serial Musikal Nurbaya. Reduksi data yang dimulai dari Episode 1 sampai 6 dengan yang hanya menggambarkan tindakan feminisme melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data terpilih kemudian dibedah dengan sistem tanda pada level denotasi dan konotasi dalam cakupan semiotika Roland Barthes. Mengacu pada data literasi tentang budaya Minangkabau, kami menginterpretasi temuan konotasi tersebut ke dalam level mitos. Terakhir, kami mengidentifikasi aspek-aspek feminisme pada temuan
