Abstract

This research delves into the complexities associated with the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia and scrutinizes the repercussions of transitioning from the 2013 Curriculum (K13) to the Independent Curriculum within the educational landscape. Employing a literature review methodology, the study synthesizes insights from diverse literature sources. The findings unveil a spectrum of challenges, encompassing hurdles in effective implementation, the preparedness of educators and students, evaluation of the curriculum's impact on educational quality, as well as its broader social and cultural implications. Despite these challenges, the research identifies positive outcomes, such as a notable surge in student creativity and heightened preparedness for the demands of the professional sphere. This comprehensive exploration contributes nuanced perspectives to the ongoing discourse on curriculum dynamics and their multifaceted influence on the educational paradigm in Indonesia.

Abstract

Rendahnya pemahaman menyimak teks narasi dan sikap bernalar kritis siswa kelas 6 SDN Nongosawit 01, yang di sebabkan oleh model pembelajaran konvensional dan media pembelajaran yang kurang interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan model discovery learning dan media interaktif e-flipbook serta keefektifannya dalam peningkatan sikap bernalar kritis dan pemahaman menyimak teks narasi. Metode yang digunakan yakni mix method atau campuran dengan one group pretest-posttest desain. Subjek dari penelitian ini terdiri dari 25 siswa. Olah data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS 26 dengan uji normalitas dan uji paired sample t-test.H asil penelitian menunjukan nilai yang signifikan pada uji paired sample t-test, yang menunjukan perbedaan hasil antara pretest dan posttest. Hal ini, menunjukan bahwa penerapan media flipbook berbasis model discovery learning efektif dalam meningkatkan sikap bernalar kritis dan pemahaman menyimak teks narasi siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbasis Wordwall terhadap peningkatan sikap disiplin siswa kelas 2 SDN Beringin 02. Masalah yang diidentifikasi adalah rendahnya disiplin siswa, yang terlihat dari kurangnya fokus dan keterlibatan dalam pembelajaran. Penerapan model PBL dengan media Wordwall yang interaktif diharapkan dapat mengatasi hal tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group, dengan kelompok eksperimen menggunakan PBL berbasis Wordwall dan kelompok kontrol menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan sikap disiplin siswa pada kelompok eksperimen (p < 0,05), dengan perubahan positif dalam perilaku seperti lebih tertib dan fokus. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kombinasi PBL dan Wordwall efektif dalam meningkatkan disiplin siswa serta menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih bermakna.

Abstract

The low level of elementary school students’ conceptual understanding of abstract topics such as Earth and Space exploration highlights the need for learning media that can present concepts in a concrete, interactive, and accessible manner. This study aims to develop, validate, and evaluate the effectiveness of a website-based BUBUMA digital learning media in improving sixth-grade students’ conceptual understanding at SDN Nongkosawit 02. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Product feasibility was assessed through expert validation involving media, content, and language experts, while effectiveness was tested using a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 20 students. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain analysis. The results indicate that the BUBUMA website-based media is highly feasible. Furthermore, there was a significant improvement in students’ conceptual understanding, as reflected by the increase in mean scores from 56.00 to 82.50 (p = 0.001) with an N-Gain of 0.59 (moderate category). These findings suggest that website-based digital media is effective in supporting the learning of abstract concepts in elementary education.
