Abstract

The problem of character education can be seen from various cases such as the failure of an institution in a school institution, the change of ministers that affects the change of curriculum, the existence of deviant behavior in the community environment that has an increasingly negative impact on a nation. This study aims to analyze the problems of the development and dynamics of character education and culture in Indonesia. This study uses literature studies. Data analysis techniques are collecting, reducing, presenting and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that good character development will encourage generations to grow and commit to doing various things in a better and more progressive direction. To realize the national mission, civic education is very important to be an aspect of study in shaping the personality of citizens. Civic education is regulated as a subject of learning in improving the abilities of each generation to become superior, participatory, honest, noble and responsible human beings. The development of the direction and objectives of character education is very crucial in preventing multidimensional crises and the decline in moral values that can damage the quality of the next generation and the implementation of transformation in an ideal and progressive direction.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of Youth and Scouting Education (PGMK) in strengthening student character and identifying the driving and inhibiting factors affecting this process. The research utilized a descriptive approach with a qualitative method, conducted at Universitas Negeri Semarang, focusing on outbound learning for PGMK subjects. The data collection techniques used in this research included interviews, observations, and documentation, while the validity of the data was tested through informant review, member check, and triangulation. Data analysis was conducted interactively by collecting, reducing, displaying, and drawing conclusions from the data. The study found that PGMK played a significant role in developing the soft and hard skills necessary to strengthen participants' character. However, this process was both encouraged and hindered by various factors such as the example of tutors, the curriculum design, the PGMK committee's commitment, stakeholder support, equalization of perceptions among participants, conducive learning situations, learning models, tutors' capacity building and competence, learning intensity and duration, internet connection, and the environment. These findings suggest the importance of considering these factors in designing and implementing effective character education programs for students.

Abstract

Citizenship education provided by each country aims to guide and shape the character of good citizens and create democratic citizens. The United States of America is a country that initiates citizenship education lessons and is one of the superpowers in the world because of its economic and political strength. The method used in writing this article uses the literature review method with the main data source, namely library data, consisting of books, journals, and internet sites related to the topic. The data analysis technique used in this article is content analysis. The discussion of this article is focused on the national policy and content of the civic education curriculum in the United States which can be assessed as civic education leading closer to the continuum of maximal civic education.Keywords: citizenship education, democratic, United States of America.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Spin The Wheel media on the Wordwall platform in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students of SDN Gondoriyo, especially in learning Pancasila Education on the material of rules and norms. The background of this study is the low critical thinking skills of elementary school students caused by the dominance of conventional learning methods and the lack of use of interactive learning media. This research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research subjects consisted of teachers, students, and principals. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that Spin The Wheel Wordwall media significantly increased students' participation and critical thinking skills. Students are more active in discussing, expressing opinions, and providing solutions to the cases presented. This media also creates a fun learning atmosphere, encourages collaboration, and contextualizes understanding of social norms. The use of this media faces several challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, a lack of teacher competence in operating digital media, and limited time for curriculum integration. However, these challenges can be overcome through strategies to improve facilities, gradual teacher training, and flexible management of time and learning methods. Abstract

Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan berperan penting dalam memperkukuh nasionalisme untuk kemajuan Indonesia. Namun saat ini masih terjadi masalah karena sikap primordialisme (kedaerahan) yang berlebihan, fanatisme yang berlebihan terhadap kelompoknya, dan etnosentrisme menunjukkan menurunnya nilai nasionalisme di Indonesia. Penulisan ini menggunakan studi literatur, artinya data dikumpulkan dari referensi yang sesuai dengan tema yang dibahas. Artikel ini membahas beberapa hal, yaitu: 1) hakikat Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan yaitu pendidikan yang berorientasi pada warga negara yang cerdas, baik, dan bertanggung jawab; 2) konsep nasionalisme adalah sebagai suatu bentuk perilaku yang mengungkapkan dan menyatakan sikap patriotisme yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk cinta tanah air; 3) Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan memiliki misi untuk membentuk karakter sehingga dapat mengajarkan pada warga negara untuk menghargai keragaman serta saling menjaga Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia.Kata Kunci: pendidikan kewarganegaraan, nasionalisme, kemajuan Indonesia

Abstract

Pancasila as the basic ideology of the Indonesian nation has an important role in shaping student character. The conservation of Pancasila values is pursued in Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) as one of the study programs at Semarang State University (UNNES) which is a conservation-minded university. This research aims to analyze and explore the strategy of Pancasila value conservation that is internalized among PGSD UNNES students as the basis for character development in the life of the nation and state. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach conducted in the PGSD UNNES study program. Data collection methods in this study are interviews, documentation, and observation. The research subjects were students, lecturers, and campus leaders. The data analysis technique used is an interactive model with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Pancasila value conservation strategy in the PGSD UNNES Study Program proved effective in shaping student character holistically. The strategy includes value assessment through reflective discussions and scientific activities; active learning through compulsory courses based on Pancasila values; implementation through student involvement in Tri Dharma activities; and actualization in campus culture and student organization activities. These four aspects form an integrated and sustainable character education ecosystem. Students show improvement in social awareness, concern for the environment, tolerance for diversity, and the ability to practice the noble values of Pancasila in everyday life. In addition, active involvement in social and cultural activities is an indicator of the success of value internalization. However, the implementation of this conservation faces challenges in the form of the influence of globalization, inconsistency of role models, and limited space for actualization. Nevertheless, the conservation of Pancasila values remains relevant and significant as the foundation of character building for future educators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick yang dipadukan dengan media interaktif Wordwall dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas 2A SDN Bojong Salaman 02 Semarang mengenai materi simbol Pancasila. Model ini dirancang untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan interaktif, di mana siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk berbicara dan menjawab pertanyaan secara bergantian menggunakan tongkat. Penggunaan media interaktif Wordwall seperti kuis dan permainan edukatif turut meningkatkan minat dan partisipasi siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 80% siswa berhasil mencapai nilai di atas Kriteria Ketercapaian Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP), yang menunjukkan efektivitas metode ini. Penerapan model ini juga berdampak positif pada keaktifan dan keterlibatan siswa, serta meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap simbol Pancasila. Berdasarkan temuan ini, disarankan agar metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Talking Stick dengan media Wordwall diterapkan secara lebih luas untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) memiliki karakteristik utama, yaitu melibatkan siswa dalam situasi pemecahan masalah nyata yang relevan, sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih kontekstual dan bermakna. Selain itu, pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran juga memengaruhi tingkat keaktifan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul berbasis PBL yang diterapkan secara efektif mampu meningkatkan motivasi dan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada hasil penelitian, beberapa indikator keaktifan siswa terlihat meningkat, seperti keberanian untuk bertanya, mengemukakan pendapat, dan berpartisipasi dalam diskusi kelompok. Modul inovatif yang digunakan mengintegrasikan elemen-elemen interaktif, seperti studi kasus sederhana, simulasi, dan tugas berbasis proyek yang memotivasi siswa untuk lebih terlibat dalam proses belajar. Guru juga melibatkan siswa dalam penyelesaian masalah secara kolaboratif, yang pada akhirnya meningkatkan kemampuan sosial dan komunikasi mereka, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Modul ini mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang interaktif dan kontekstual, sehingga siswa tidak hanya memahami nilai-nilai Pancasila secara teoritis tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Media merupakan sarana pendukung dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar di kelas. Dalam artikel ini peneliti mengidentifikasi media PANELKU (Papan tempel Kegiatanku) sebagai langkah yang tepat dalam memecahkan masalah pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila kelas 1 SD IT Insan Mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila di kelas 1 SD IT Insan Mulia, dengan fokus pada penerapan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu wali kelas dan 14 peserta didik kelas 1. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dari hasil observasi, wawancara, studi literatur, dan hasil praktikum modul ajar inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode interaktif dan media variatif berupa PANELKU dapat meningkatkan antusiasme peserta didik dalam memahami materi mengenal kegiatanku. Oleh karena itu, disarankan guru untuk mengembangkan metode dan media pembelajaran sehingga dapat meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik melalui strategi yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas modul ajar Pendidikan Pancasila berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Negeri 03 Karangayu. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar ini efektif meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan mendukung pengembangan nilai-nilai Pancasila, seperti kerja sama dan toleransi. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah pengelolaan kelas, seperti kebisingan dan kurangnya perhatian siswa. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi aturan kelas yang jelas, penggunaan media pembelajaran menarik, dan aktivitas terstruktur untuk menyalurkan energi siswa. Penerapan modul ajar ini memberikan dampak positif pada pembelajaran dan pengembangan karakter siswa, meskipun perlu adaptasi lebih lanjut untuk mengatasi kendala yang ada.
