Abstract

In the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the learning process must develop students' literacy and numeracy skills. Teachers need to design learning activities that integrate literacy and numeracy. Training and mentoring for teachers are required to understand the context of literacy and numeracy and how to create learning that incorporates literacy and numeracy. The problems experienced by these partners were used as the basis for the team to provide training and assistance to MINU KH Mukmin Sidoarjo teachers in the form of community service activities. This community assistance uses the Service Learning approach to enhance teachers' capacity in designing learning by integrating literacy and numeracy. The teacher's learning design is then implemented and evaluated. Based on the results of design analysis and observation of learning in the classroom, it can be concluded that teachers have been able to analyze and design learning by integrating literacy and numeracy

Abstract

This study aims to examine mathematics lesson plans in terms of cross-learning by using design research. This research refers to the systematic literature review (SLR) which consists of three stages, namely planning, conducting, and reporting. The planning stage is identifying the need for the review, focusing on the research question, and organizing the procedures in SLR. The conducting stage includes searching for articles, selecting articles, and synthesizing data. The reporting stage is the stage that includes writing the SLR results in accordance with a predetermined format. The search for international articles with the help of the Publish or Perish application using the keywords Learning Trajectory, design research, and mathematics in the time span between 2018 - 2023 is 210 articles and after being reviewed based on research questions, 15 articles were obtained to be reviewed. Based on the review of 15 international articles, mathematics lesson plans based on learning trajectories can provide student experiences for students to be skilled, active, creative, and provide opportunities to call for ideas or ideas to solve a problem in everyday life. Mathematics lesson plans based on learning trajectories can use the Plomp and Gravemeijer and Cobb models. The 15 international articles are grouped based on Plomp and Gravemeijer & Cobb development models. Keywords : Learning trajectory, Mathematics Learning, Plomp development model, Gravemeijer & Cobb development model

Abstract

One of the abilities of the 21st century is the ability to think critically. Mathematical critical thinking is the ability used to solve mathematical problems using higher thinking skills, namely analyzing, synthesizing, concluding and evaluating. Brain Based Learning (BBL) is an approach that can be used to carry out learning based on brain function. The aim of this research is to describe critical mathematical thinking skills that can be improved with the BBL approach. The research was conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with stages: planning, implementation and reporting. The results of the study from 13 articles show that BBL can improve students' critical mathematical thinking skills.BBL is carried out in 7 stages, namely: pre-exposure; preparation; initiation and acquisition; elaboration; incubation and inserting memory; verification and confidence checking; as well as celebration and integration. Learning with the BBL approach is an alternative that can improve students' mathematical critical thinking skills, so it is recommended to use BBL on various mathematical topics and collaborate with other learning approaches or models.
