Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of Reward and Punishment on Work Loyalty at IBC Telkomsel in Bandung City. This research includes quantitative descriptive research, with multiple linear regression analysis approaches that use a brushioner research instrument. The sample in this study was Telkomsel IBC employees in Bandung City which amounted to 134 respondents who were analyzed with the SPSS program version 25. The results of this study found that rewards have a significant effect on work loyalty, evidenced by the value of thitung significance greater than table and with a large enough coefficient value so that the reward affects work loyalty. Punishment also has a significant effect on work loyalty, evidenced by the value of thitung significance greater than ttabel and with a fairly large value of coefiesen, so punishment also affects work loyalty. In multiple linear analyses it is known that reward has a greater influence on work loyalty compared to the punishment variable.

Abstract

Increasing job satisfaction is important for companies because it has a positive impact such as improving employee performance, loyalty, and productivity. In this study, it will be discussed how work motivation and employee engagement affect the job satisfaction of Perumdam Tirta Kerja Raharja employees. The independent variables tested were work motivation and employee engagement while job satisfaction was the dependent variable. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The population in this study were employees at Perumdam Tirta Kerja Raharja. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling and the magnitude of the sample in this study was calculated by the Slovin formula, so the total number is 90 respondents. The analysis method used in this study is several multiple linear regression analyses using SPSS 25 for Windows. The results of this study show that work motivation and employee engagement affect the job satisfaction of Perumdam Tirta Kerja Raharja employees. The magnitude of the influence of work motivation and employee engagement on employee job satisfaction was 53.1%.

Abstract

Tingginya tingkat pengangguran lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) mencapai 9.01% pada Februari 2025 mencerminkan kesenjangan kompetensi antara pendidikan vokasi dan kebutuhan industri. Fenomena ini tidak hanya disebabkan oleh keterbatasan penguasaan hard skill, tetapi juga oleh lemahnya soft skill serta kurangnya pemahaman siswa mengenai personal branding. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dilaksanakan oleh tim dosen Universitas Widyatama di SMK Bina Wisata Lembang berfokus untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut dengan memberikan pelatihan komprehensif tentang pengembangan citra diri profesional. Metode kegiatan meliputi survei awal untuk melihat sejauh mana materi Soft skill diberikan di dalam kurikulum sekolah, penyusunan program pengembangan soft skill, pelaksanaan pelatihan, simulasi wawancara kerja (role play), dan evaluasi melalui kuesioner. Sebanyak 40 siswa kelas XI mengikuti pelatihan yang berfokus pada penerapan personal branding dalam kepemimpinan, pembuatan CV yang menarik, serta teknik menghadapi wawancara kerja. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan terjadi peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep personal branding, yang ditunjukkan dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 47% (sebelum pelatihan) menjadi 73% (setelah pelatihan). Sementara itu, tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa dalam menghadapi wawancara kerja, yang diukur dari simulasi role play dan kuesioner, menunjukkan kenaikan sebesar 45%. Secara keseluruhan, 95% dari 40 siswa peserta menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat dan meningkatkan motivasi mereka untuk bersaing di dunia kerja. Program ini memberikan dampak nyata dengan membekali siswa pemahaman praktis tentang membangun citra diri profesional, beretika, dan berintegritas, sehingga lebih siap bersaing di dunia kerja. Kegiatan PkM diharapkan menjadi model pengembangan soft skill berkelanjutan di lingkungan pendidikan vokasi dan dapat meningkatkan citra diri profesional untuk lulusan sekolah vokasi.
