Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki kualitas pendidikan dan pembelajaran melalui pengembangan KBK berorintasi KKNI dan pendidikan karakter budaya akademik. Secara khusus tujuan penelitian ini adalah : Mengembangkan model perancangan KBK berorientasi KKNI dan pendidikan karakter budaya akademik di FE Unimed yang meliputi beberapa tahapan yaitu : a). menyusun capaian pembelajaran fakultas (Faculty Learning Outcames) yang diturunkan dari visi dan misi fakultas yang mengandung profil umum lulusan sebagai competitive dan comparative advantage dari Fakultas Ekonomi. Capaian pembelajaran FE berorientasi KKNI dan lebih menampilkan Karakter Budaya Akademik yang harus dimiliki lulusan. b). merumuskan profil lulusan program studi. c). Perumusan standar kompetensi lulusan, yaitu menentukan kompetensi apa yang harus dimiliki oleh mahasiswa setelah lulus program studi tertentu di FE Unimed berdasarkan profil yang telah ditetapkan. d). perumusan capaian pembelajaran program studi (program learning outcomes/PLO). Capaian pembelajaran dirumuskan berdasarkan hasil tracer study (study pelacakan) dan analisis kebutuhan dunia kerja yang terkait dengan kompetensi yang dibangun, serta jenjang kualifikasi yang diacu dari KKNI, e). capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah (Course learning outcomes/CLO), yaitu dengan menjawab pertanyaan apa yang akan mahasiswa ketahui dan apa yang dapat dilakukan mahasiswa diakhir perkuliahan. f). merumuskan konsep kunci dan kata kunci capaian pada capaian pembelajaran mata kuliah. Mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter budaya akademik di FE Unimed. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D), digunakan juga kombinasi penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian campuran yaitu metode deskriptif – eksploratif yang digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai gejala dan akar permasalahan yang terjadi dalam pengembangan KBK berorientasi KKNI dan pendidikan karakter budaya akademik. AbstrakTerjadinya pergeseran paradigma pembelajaran dari “teacher centered” ke “student centered“ menjadikan peran guru di kelas berubah, dari peran yang hanya penyampai informasi kepada peran sebagai perantara.Kurangnya kompetensi guru dalam perencanaan, pelakasanaan dan evaluasi pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 menjadi masalah utama dalam pengabdian ini. Untuk mengatasi hal-hal tersebut guru perlu melakukan Lesson study dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran, mengaktifkan siswa belajar sehingga guru dapat melakukan review terhadap kinerjanya, dapat digunakan sebagai masukan untuk memperbaiki kinerjanya sehingga termotivasi untuk selalu berinovasi menjadi guru yang profesional. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarkat ini adalah membantu guru-guru mata diklat produktif di sub rayon SMK N 7 Medan dalam mengatasi beberapa masalah yang sedang dihadapi. Selain beberapa masalah tersebut, permasalahan khusus yang dihadapi oleh guru adalah kurangnya keterampilan guru dalam merancang dan menerapkan inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif dan menyenangkan. Target khusus dari kegiatan pengabdian dihasilkannya ; 1) RKBM yang sudah terstandar; 2) Tersedianya bahan ajar berbasis IT; 3) model-model pembelajaran berbasis Audiovisual; dan 4) Adanya dokumentasi pelaksanaan Open Class dengan menerapkan berbagai model pembelajara Rencana kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan antara lain ; 1) Pendampingan Penyusunan RKBM Berbasis Kurikulum 2013; 2) Pendampingan Pembuatan media pembelajaranberbasis IT; 3) Pendampingan penyusunan model-modelpPembelajaran berbasis Audiovisual; dan 4) Open Class.Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 7 Medsan. Pemilihan lokasi kegiatan ini didasarkan atas sarana dan prasarana yang sangat mendukung yang dimiliki oleh SMKN 7 Medan untuk melakukan pendampingan.Kata kunci : Kompetensi guru, lesson study, sub rayon SMKN 7AbstractThe shift of learning paradigm from "Teacher centered" to "student centered" makes the role of teacher in the class has changed, from a role that is merely a transmitter of information to an intermediary role. The lack of teacher competence in planning, implementing and evaluating the learning of the 2013 curriculum becomes a major problem in this devotion. To overcome these things teachers need to do Lesson study in developing activate student learning so that teachers can do a review of its performance so it can be used as an input to improve its performance and motivated to always innovate to be a professional teacher. The purpose of this community service is to help teachers productive eye training in sub rayon SMK N 7 Medan in overcoming some of the problems being faced. Besides, the specific problem faced by teachers is the lack of teacher skills in designing and implementing effective and enjoyable learning innovations. Special targets of devotion activities resulted; 1) standardized RKBM; 2) Availability of IT-based teaching materials; 3) Audiovisual based learning models; and 4) Existence of Open Class implementation documentation by applying various model of learning Plan of activity of dedication to be done, among others; 1) Assistance for the Formulation of RKBM Based on Curriculum 2013; 2) Mentoring The making of IT-based learning media; 3) Assistance in the preparation of Audiovisual based learning models; and 4) Open Class.This activity was implemented in SMKN 7 Medan. The Selection of the location is based on facilities and infrastructure that is very supportive of SMKN 7 Medan to provide the assistance.Keywords: Teacher competency, lesson study, sub rayon SMKN 7

The problem of education is relatively complex because many variables influence it. One of these factors is the characteristics (logical intelligence mathematics) and student Soft Skills. The phenomena that occur in the field, especially in the learning process of the lecturer/teacher, that they do not pay attention to the problems of logical intelligence of mathematics and student soft skills, so that the learning outcomes are not optimal. This study aims to determine the effect of logical intelligence of mathematics and soft skills on learning outcomes in students of introductory economics. This research method is the descriptive ex-post facto method. The population in this study were all students of the economic education department in Economics Faculty Unimed who were attending the introductory economics as many as 90 people. The data collected was analyzed using linear regression statistics with SPSS for windows. The results of this study indicate that logical intelligence of mathematics and soft skills have a positive and significant effect on student outcomes in the introductory economics course.

Study aimed to see the effectiveness of the hybrid learning materials application with Problem based learning (PBL) model to improve students’ outcome in evaluation course in learning outcomes at the Business Education Study Program, State University of Medan. The study used a quasi-experimental method of the Posttest control group design. Data collection was carried out by conducting tests after class. The sample selected in this study were all students of the Business Education study program in evaluation course in learning outcomes. The results showed that the application of hybrid learning with the PBL model was effective to improve learning outcomes in evaluation course in learning outcomes . The results of this study also found that the independence and creativity of student learning was higher by applying hybrid learning with problem-based learning models compared to the control class. The results of this study contributed to the lecturers' evaluation of learning outcomes in improving the quality of learning, which has been traditional, by applying hybrid learning teaching materials with problem-based learning models, especially during the current Covid 19 pandemic and to answer the demands of learning in the industrial revolution era. 4.0.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is suspected that educational institutions are facing a decline in the quality of learning because learning cannot take place face-to-face, and teaching materials and learning models applied are still conventional. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the application of project-based hybrid learning in improving the quality of writing thesis proposals for students of the Medan State University (Unimed) Business Education Study Program and see the impact of accompaniment to learning independence and student learning satisfaction. This research method applies quasi-experimental with posttest control group design for experimental and control classes. The research population of all students currently attending the Research Methodology lecture in 2021 is 51, consisting of two classes (A & B). The sample was determined by random sampling, with class A as the experimental class of 26 people and class B as the control class of 25 people. Experimental classes are taught with project-based hybrid learning through Google meet and LMS, and control classes are taught with conventional learning through asynchronous LMS. All participants were tasked with compiling a thesis proposal after finishing the treatment. The difference in the average results of the assessment of the thesis proposals of the two classes was carried out with the Mann-Whitney test because the data were not normally distributed. The results of this study show that the application of project-based hybrid learning is effective in improving the quality of writing thesis proposals, independence, and learning satisfaction.

Adapun 3 aspek permasalahan utama yakni aspek produksi, aspek pemasaran dan aspek keuangan. Target dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menghasilkan penyelesaian masalah aspek produksi berupa; 1) Alat mesin press emping manual, dan 2) Alat mesin vacum sealer; aspek pemasaran berupa, 1) Merek dagang penjualan emping, 2). kemasan. dan aspek keuangan berupa 1) Pencatatan keuangan usaha sederhana. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di Desa Baru Pasar VIII Kecamatan Hinai Kabupaten Langkat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini ceramah, praktik dan pendampingan. Pelatihan dan penyuluhan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di aula desa, pada kegiatan ini telah diserahkan 4 unit alat press emping manual, 2 unit mesin kemasan vacum sealer, merek dagang emping “Pelita Jaya” dan dan buku besar pencatatan keuangan sederhana. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini, para kelompok usaha emping mampu meningkatkan kualitas produk dan pemasaran emping yang lebih baik.

Pelatihan dan penyuluhan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di rumah mitra, pada kegiatan ini telah diserahkan 2 unit alat smart burning drum, 2 unit mesin kemasan sealer, dan merek dagang “Arang Kepayang”. Hasil kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi arang bagi kedua mitra.

The purpose of this study was to (1) determine the feasibility of flip book-based economics teaching materials in improving economic learning outcomes for class XI MAN 2 Deli Serdang students. (2) Knowing the effectiveness of flip book-based economics teaching materials in improving economic learning outcomes for class XI MAN 2 Deli Serdang students. This type of research is R & D research using the Borg and Gall development model. The subjects of this study consisted of two material experts, one learning media expert, one learning model expert, and 60 students of class XI MAN 2 Deli Serdang. As an object in this study, students' responses to learning media and student learning outcomes tests. The results showed (1) the expert test of learning materials was in the very good classification (94.44%), (2) the learning media expert test was in the very good classification (96.00%), (3) the expert test of the learning model was very good classification (95.18%). Based on the results of the learning tests, it is known that the average value of the control class is 67.69 and that of the experimental class is 85, and the two classes have a difference in value of 17.7. The results of the submission of the hypothesis prove that (1) Flipbook-Based Economics Teaching Materials to Improve Economic Learning Outcomes of Class XI MAN 2 Deli Serdang Academic Year 2021/2022 are appropriate for use (2) there is a significant difference between student learning outcomes using flipbook-based economics teaching materials with the learning outcomes of students who use textbooks. This is indicated by the results of data processing on the results of the post test obtained tcount = 10.691. At a significant level (? = 0.05) with dk 58 obtained ttable = 1.167 so that tcount > ttable. The average effectiveness of learning outcomes in the use of flipbook-based economics teaching materials is 85%, while the group of students who use textbooks is 68%. From this data it proves that the use of flip book-based economics teaching materials is more effective in increasing students' knowledge and competence in learning national income than without using flip book-based economics teaching materials

This quantitative study examines the impact of entrepreneurial competence and education on the performance of small industrial enterprises, specifically in Medan's leather shoes and wood furniture industries. The research focuses on a sample of 154 businesses from a total population of 250, utilizing questionnaires and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for analysis. The findings highlight the positive influence of entrepreneurial competence and non-formal education on business performance. The study underscores self-efficacy's role as a mediator between entrepreneurial competence and performance, indicating that entrepreneurs with higher self-efficacy effectively navigate business challenges. However, the study doesn't confirm self-efficacy as a mediator for formal and non-formal education's impact on performance. This suggests that while competence and non-formal education directly benefit performance, the interplay of self-efficacy with formal education is more complex. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurial competence for business success and the role of self-efficacy in overcoming challenges. While self-efficacy's role in formal education needs more exploration, this study enhances understanding of factors affecting small industrial enterprises' performance, offering practical insights for ambitious entrepreneurs.

Di era digital, kemajuan teknologi telah menyebabkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penggunaan perangkat digital, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa. Sementara teknologi menawarkan sumber daya informasi yang melimpah, muncul kekhawatiran tentang dampaknya terhadap berbagai aspek kehidupan siswa, termasuk kesehatan mental, pola pembelajaran, dan pengaturan diri. Self-regulated learning (SRL) memainkan peran penting dalam kesuksesan akademik dan pembelajaran sepanjang hayat. Studi ini menyelidiki perbedaan potensial dalam SRL di antara kelompok siswa berdasarkan rata-rata screen time harian mereka. Menggunakan desain penelitian survei, studi ini menggunakan sampel mahasiswa di Indonesia, dengan analisis varians (ANOVA) untuk menilai perbedaan dalam SRL berdasarkan screen time. Analisis post-hoc menggunakan uji GT2 Hochberg dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi perbedaan kelompok secara spesifik. Hasilnya, studi mengungkapkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam tingkat SRL di antara kelompok screen time. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya manajemen waktu layar yang bijak untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan pengaturan diri yang optimal, dengan waktu layar yang berlebihan melebihi 2 jam berdampak negatif pada SRL.
