Abstract

The community service activities carried out aim to improve the nutritional status of toddlers in Siremen Village, Tanara District, Serang Regency. This village faces serious challenges related to malnutrition and malnutrition among children under five, which are caused by mothers' lack of knowledge about nutrition, unhealthy eating patterns, and limited access to nutritious food. In an effort to overcome this problem, a nutrition education program was carried out at the Siremen Village Children's Posyandu. This program includes providing information about a balanced diet, the importance of exclusive breastfeeding, and ways to prepare nutritious food with locally available ingredients. Through collaboration between health workers, posyandu cadres, and local government support, this outreach program is expected to be effective in increasing mothers' knowledge and awareness regarding the importance of good nutrition for their children. Thus, it is hoped that there will be positive changes in the behavior of mothers in providing food to their toddlers, which will ultimately result in an increase in the nutritional status of toddlers in Siremen Village. Periodic evaluations will be carried out to measure the effectiveness of the program, by monitoring various indicators including maternal knowledge about nutrition, nutritional status of toddlers, and changes in maternal behavior in providing food. It is hoped that the results of this activity can become a model for other villages in efforts to improve the nutritional status of children under five through a sustainable and comprehensive nutritional education program

Abstract

The presence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in educational practice should improve mobility and learning outcomes and enhance students' learning skills. On the other hand, students see AI as a system that helps them accomplish practical learning tasks. This condition creates conflicts and dilemmas in the use of AI in learning. Studies on AI in education recommend metacognition as an important ability for students to utilize AI well. The research aims to find the formulation of metacognitive competencies needed by students in using AI as content in curriculum guidance. The research method used Systematic Literature Review with PRISMA model. The results of the literature review show that metacognitive studies in education and adolescent development refer to a longitudinal study conducted by Roger Azevedo. The potential, implementation and ethical implications are integrated in the Curriculum guidelines in improving metacognitive skills related to AI use are 1) self-regulation, 2) critical thinking, and 3) decision-making processes. Guidance activities that can be done in developing metacognition should be inquiry-oriented such as paired activities (brainstorming), self-assessment, experiential activities, and information selection.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency, intolerance and disciplinary behaviour are partly motivated by low religious awareness. State MTs students in Banten have urban and traditional socio-cultural diversity, while geographically consisting of rural, urban, mountainous, and coastal areas. This diversity affects the cultivation of values, traditions, and perspectives on their religious life. The research aims to describe the religious awareness of MTs students in the Banten Region based on their socio-cultural and geographical profiles.  The research method used is descriptive analysis, using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Research data were obtained using a religious awareness scale that measured cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The ANOVA test results show that sociocultural factors have a more significant impact on the variation of religious awareness of MTs Negeri students in the Banten Region. Socio-culturally, religious awareness tends to be greater for students in urban sociocultural groups.

Abstract

The issue of mental health among adolescents is becoming increasingly significant in the educational and social realms, as many adolescents face emotional distress without the support of a safe space to understand and manage their feelings. This study aims to explore the application of health communication principles in adolescent counseling practices, both by practitioners in formal settings such as schools and non-formal communities. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with three informants, namely a community mental health activist, an academic in the field of counseling guidance, and an adolescent who acted as a counselee. Findings from thematic analysis show that health communication is not only used to convey educational information, but also to build interactions that are empathic, participatory, and in accordance with the context of the counselee's life. The practice is realized through the use of familiar language, supportive gestures, and easy-to-understand analogies, such as "a tank of emotions" or "a body that asks for help." Communication is understood as a medium of recovery that allows for emotional validation, psychosocial assistance, and space for personal reflection. The results of this study confirm that health communication principles can enrich the adolescent counseling process, especially in strengthening trust and encouraging a deeper recovery process. This approach deserves to be developed in community-based counseling services that are adaptive to the emotional needs of today's adolescents.
