Abstract

Kata Kunci: Instansi Pendidikan, K3, Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja, Laboratorium Abstract The laboratory as a work practice space really supports the process of developing skills for students, especially in Vocational High Schools, one of which is SMK Al-Ittihad. At Al-Ittihad Vocational School there are several laboratories including a chemical analysis laboratory, an office activity automation laboratory and a software engineering laboratory. The laboratory has the same problem, namely regarding the implementation of K3 which has not yet been implemented. Each laboratory room has various potential hazards according to the characteristics of the laboratory. The purpose of this community service activity is to communicate work methods, work principles and an introduction to work accidents and work safety in the laboratory (to serve as a guide before conducting practicum in the laboratory) through a video safety briefing. The method is carried out using three ways, namely group communication, interpersonal communication and media communication. The findings from the survey results to the location were that students' awareness of OSH was still low, leadership commitment was limited, there was no leadership policy regarding OSH listed in the laboratory, there was no clear division of tasks and responsibilities (no OSH officers), there had never been K3 training has only ever had training in using a Light Fire Extinguisher (APAR) as well as low K3 standards and infrastructure related to K3 is not available. The conclusion of this community service activity is that a safety briefing video is made as a media communication that can be seen by all laboratory users as a basis for OSH for the safety and comfort of using the room; Non-verbal communication, trying to install K3 signs or symbols such as assembly points, evacuation routes, entry and exit arrows, caution signs, no smoking and chemical signs; as well as verbal communication by educating students, laboratory heads and laboratory assistants about K3. Abstract

Incentive travel is a key segment in MICE that aims to motivate employees. Although Indonesia is a leading MICE destination, the competitiveness of Jakarta has not been optimized as an incentive travel destination. This study identifies Harapan Island in the Thousand Islands as Jakarta's leading potential for incentive travel, offering unique maritime and conservation experiences. However, there is a significant gap between this potential and the current unstructured and uncompetitive tourism products, which fail to meet corporate expectations. Using quantitative associative methods, this study analyzes the influence of internal factors (accommodation, cuisine) and external factors (accessibility, local support) on destination competitiveness. Data from 50 respondents, mostly tourism workers and corporate employees, was collected through a reliable questionnaire (Cronbach's Alpha >0.90) and found to have a normal distribution. The findings confirm the strong potential of Harapan Island, but highlight critical weaknesses in supporting facilities and product packaging. This study concludes that community-based strategic development for premium products is essential to transform Harapan Island into a competitive and sustainable incentive travel destination, thereby supporting the vision of “Jakarta Nice for MICE.”
