Abstract

Research was carried out to see the potential for flooding through Computational Fluid Dynamic simulations, namely a set of methodologies that allow computers to provide numerical simulations of fluid flow. The entire system is transformed into virtual form, and can be visualized via computer. Components in fluid dynamic computing include selection of mathematical models, discretization, numerical analysis schemes, numerical solutions and representation of processes numerically and graphically. Flood mapping can provide information about which areas need special attention so that it can be used as a reference in making policies related to flood management and can be used to increase wider public awareness regarding floods. The HEC-RAS permanent flow module is able to take into account the influence of various flow obstacles, such as bridges, culverts, bends, or obstacles on riverbanks. The permanent flow module is designed for use in riverbank management environments and the determination of flood risk insurance regarding the determination of riverbanks and floodplains. The permanent flow module can also be used to estimate changes in water level due to channel improvements or embankment construction. HEC-RAS permanent flow special module features include double plan analysis, double profile calculation, double culvert or gate analysis, flow optimization, and stable channel design and analysis. From the simulation results and depth classification, information on the area of inundation and areas prone to flood inundation on the Lepo-Lepo River is 29.34 Ha.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to find out or predict how much a project will cost during implementation and to find out the effectiveness of project control using the Earned Value Method. To overcome existing problems, an Earned Value method is used. There are two parameters or indicators used for analysis, namely BCWS, BCWP. Delay deviations can be identified by looking at the Schedule Variance (SV). This method can also be used to determine the efficiency of resource use in the form of the schedule performance index (SPI). The project implementation time aspect has a negative value up to the 12 th week of (SV) -Rp. 44,776,771.84 or schedule performance index (SPI) = 0.82 < 1. The calculation results are obtained from an effectiveness value of 0.85 for controlling project time using the Method Earned Value. In other words, the results of an effectiveness value that is smaller than 1 (one) can be said to be that the Time Performance for the Implementation of the Concrete Pavement Road Work Project in North Kolaka Regency is less effective. From the results of the time performance study using the Earned Value Method, it can be concluded that the Time Performance for the Implementation of the Concrete Pavement Road Work Project in North Kolaka Regency experienced a delay from the initial plan. It is clear that in weeks 1 to 12 the project performance was delayed from the planned schedule

Abstract

Mortar mixture is an important element in civil/construction work. As a binding agent, mortar mixtures are widely used in various types of work with different strength levels according to their needs. Many sand raw materials are often used but do not meet the material requirements, either grain gradation or other requirements. In this research, a compressive strength test was carried out using fine sand with the addition of stone ash, to test how much strength was achieved with varying percentages of additional stone ash. The manufacture of test specimens for this mortar mixture refers to SNI 03-6882-2002. Testing was carried out at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. With additional variations of 0%, 20%, 40% and 60% stone ash. The results of this research are mortar mixtures with the addition of 20% stone ash will increase the compressive strength from 4.74 MPa without the addition of stone ash to 7.13 MPa, tending to decrease at an additional 40% the compressive strength is 6.96 MPa and at an additional 60% the strength is obtained. press 5.74Mpa. The simple regression equation for the relationship between the addition of the percentage of stone ash (variable x) and the compressive strength value (variable y) is y = -22.578x2 + 14.97x + 4.8122 with the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.97 (very strong).

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PKM) untuk membantu program pemerintah dalam hal menanggulangi dampak penyebaran dan menekan angka kematian akibat adanya virus Covid-19 yang menjadi pandemic global yang telah ditetapkan oleh badan organisasi Kesehatan dunia yaitu WHO. Virus ini pun masuk ke Indonesia awal Maret 2020, sehingga mengubah perilaku dan tatanan kehidupan baru. Sehingga diperlukan adanya sikap yang harus diubah, salah satunya adalah kegiatan mencuci tangan, memakai masker, menjaga jarak, serta konsumsi makanan yang bergizi. Berdasarkan bukti ilmiah, COVID-19 dapat menular dari manusia ke manusia melalui percikan batuk/bersin (droplet), tidak melalui udara. Orang yang paling berisiko tertular penyakit ini adalah orang yang kontak erat dengan pasien COVID-19 termasuk yang merawat pasien COVID-19. Rekomendasi standar untuk mencegah penyebaran infeksi adalah melalui cuci tangan secara teratur menggunakan sabun dan air bersih, menerapkan etika batuk dan bersin, menghindari kontak secara langsung dengan ternak dan hewan liar serta menghindari kontak dekat dengan siapapun yang menunjukkan gejala penyakit pernapasan seperti batuk dan bersin. Selain itu, menerapkan Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Infeksi saat berada di fasilitas kesehatan terutama unit gawat darurat

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) berbasis Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Sindang Kasih dilaksanakan sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pendekatan terpadu pada aspek infrastruktur, sosial kemasyarakatan, dan ekonomi lokal. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terbatasnya kualitas fasilitas publik, rendahnya partisipasi sosial terorganisir, serta belum optimalnya pengelolaan dan promosi potensi ekonomi desa, khususnya UMKM. Solusi yang diterapkan bersifat partisipatif dan kolaboratif dengan melibatkan pemerintah desa, masyarakat, serta mahasiswa KKN sebagai fasilitator. Pada aspek infrastruktur, kegiatan difokuskan pada penataan lingkungan Balai Desa, pembuatan peta wilayah desa, penyusunan denah sekolah, serta penyediaan plang nama aparatur desa sebagai sarana keterbukaan informasi publik. Pada aspek sosial, pendampingan dilakukan melalui kegiatan gotong royong, Jumat bersih, pelayanan posyandu, dan partisipasi dalam kegiatan keagamaan untuk memperkuat kohesi sosial dan kesadaran kolektif masyarakat. Sementara itu, pada aspek ekonomi, dilakukan pendampingan promosi UMKM melalui pemasangan banner di lokasi strategis guna meningkatkan visibilitas produk lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas lingkungan desa, partisipasi masyarakat, serta kesadaran terhadap pentingnya pembangunan berbasis kebersamaan dan potensi lokal. Secara integratif, PKM berbasis KKN ini terbukti mampu menjadi katalisator pembangunan desa yang berkelanjutan dan berorientasi pada kebutuhan riil masyarakat

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of the implementation of pedestrian zones on the level of road services on two road sections, namely Jalan Tabaununggu and Jalan Supu Yusuf. Results Before the pedestrianization, Jalan Tabaununggu had a capacity of 2586 PCU/h per direction with a degree of saturation (Q/C) of 0.49, at Service Level C. After the pedestrian zone was enforced, the capacity decreased to 2674 PCU/h with Q/C of 0.33, which indicates an increase to Service Level B. On the other hand, on Jalan Supu Yusuf, before pedestrianization, the capacity was recorded at 2998 PCU/h per direction with a Q/C of 0.43 (Service Level B). After pedestrianization, the capacity increased to 2676 PCU/h per direction and Q/C decreased to 0.34, so that the service level increased to B. These results show that the implementation of pedestrian zones has a positive impact on the stability and efficiency of traffic flow, especially on Jalan Supu Yusuf-Tabaununggu Kendari City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja lalu lintas pada ruas Jalan Pembangunan, Kelurahan Sodohoa, Kecamatan Kendari Barat, khususnya di kawasan Pasar Pelelangan Kota Kendari yang memiliki aktivitas perdagangan tinggi. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui survei lapangan untuk memperoleh data karakteristik jalan dan volume lalu lintas pada tiga periode waktu, yaitu pagi, siang, dan sore hari. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan Pedoman Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (PKJI) 2023 dengan parameter utama berupa volume lalu lintas, kapasitas jalan, dan derajat kejenuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa volume lalu lintas tertinggi terjadi pada periode pagi sebesar 131 smp/jam, dengan kapasitas jalan sebesar 1.272 smp/jam. Tingkat pelayanan jalan berada pada kategori B, yang menunjukkan kondisi arus lalu lintas masih stabil dengan kecepatan relatif tinggi dan kebebasan pengemudi dalam memilih kecepatan. Meskipun demikian, terdapat potensi gangguan lalu lintas akibat hambatan samping seperti parkir di badan jalan dan aktivitas pasar. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya manajemen lalu lintas berupa pemasangan rambu dan marka jalan guna meningkatkan kelancaran dan keselamatan lalu lintas

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structural capacity of the existing pavement and to determine the required thickness of flexible pavement overlay on the Kolaka – Rate-rate Road section to adequately serve traffic loads over a 20-year design life. Based on traffic survey results, the Average Daily Traffic (ADT) indicates a dominant contribution from heavy vehicles. The calculation shows a daily Equivalent Standard Axle (ESA) value of 1,322.47 ESA/day, with the largest contribution coming from 3-axle and ≥4-axle trucks. Considering an annual traffic growth rate of 5% and a 20-year design life, the Cumulative Equivalent Standard Axle (CESA) is estimated at approximately 1.60 × 10⁷ ESA. The evaluation of the existing pavement structure yields a Structural Number (SNₑₓ) of 6.96. Based on the relationship between CESA and subgrade bearing capacity (CBR 6%), the required Structural Number (SNᵣ) is determined to be 8.50. The difference between the required SN and the existing SN results in an overlay Structural Number (SNₒᵥ) requirement of 1.54. This value is then converted into the required asphalt overlay thickness using the appropriate layer coefficient

Abstract

The difference between productivity in the field and reference productivity can cause discrepancies between project planning and its implementation. This may result in resource wastage, cost inefficiency, and disruption of the project schedule. Therefore, an in-depth study is needed to determine the actual level of labor productivity occurring in the field. This study was conducted to analyze labor productivity in red brick wall masonry and wall plastering work on the Computer Laboratory Room Construction Project at SDN 7 Lembo. The purpose of this study is to calculate the actual labor productivity value and compare it with the reference productivity based on applicable regulations. Through this research, it is expected to provide an overview of the level of labor efficiency. This research was conducted through direct observation in the field. Observations were carried out on red brick masonry and wall plastering work. The aspects observed included the work volume, number of workers, and the duration of work per day. The results of this study show that the average labor productivity in the field is 5.53 m²/OH for brick masonry work and 22.79 m²/OH for plastering work. The standard labor productivity value according to the reference (Permen PUPR 2025) for brick masonry work is 4.76 m²/OH, and for wall plastering work it is also 4.76 m²/OH. The comparison of productivity values is 1.16 m²/OH for brick masonry work and 4.78 m²/OH for plastering work. Based on these results, the field productivity is higher than the productivity according to the reference standard.

Abstract

This study discusses the traffic characteristics and performance of Abunawas Street, Kendari City before and after the implementation of the one-way traffic flow system (SSA). The analysis was conducted on two road segments by considering traffic volume, average vehicle speed, and degree of saturation (DJ). The results showed that the highest traffic volume was recorded on Monday in Segment 1 at 742.6 smp/hour and Segment 2 at 385.8 smp/hour at 16.00–17.00 WITA. On Saturday, the highest volume in Segment 1 reached 855.2 smp/hour at 17.00–18.00 WITA, while in Segment 2 it was 389.7 smp/hour at 16.00–17.00 WITA. The average speed of light vehicles (MP) also showed variations, with the highest speed on Monday in Segment 1 at 26.2 km/hour and Segment 2 at 24.6 km/hour. On Saturday, the highest speed recorded was 25.4 km/h in Segment 1 and 25.2 km/h in Segment 2. In terms of road performance, the highest DJ value before the implementation of SSA was 0.50. After the implementation of SSA, the DJ decreased to 0.19. These results indicate that the implementation of SSA has an impact on road performance, despite a decrease in the DJ value
