Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui Program Kemitraan Masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang diversifikasi ikan olahan untuk kemitraan PKM. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan PKM ini dapat memotivasi para ibu rumah tangga nelayan dan remaja putri putus sekolah serta pengurus dan anggota kelompok untuk mengembangkan produk olahan ikan. Metode pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) yaitu melalui pelatihan, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan yang dilengkapi dengan teknik learning by doing. Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kelompok perempuan mitra nelayan, pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Hasil kegiatan PKM menunjukkan bahwa 1) Meningkatnya pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga, petani dan remaja putri putus sekolah yang tergabung dalam kelompok perempuan nelayan mitra tentang manfaat dan nilai gizi yang terkandung dalam ikan. 2) Meningkatnya pengetahuan ibu rumah tangga, petani dan remaja putri putus sekolah yang tergabung dalam kelompok perempuan nelayan mitra dalam mendiversifikasi ikan olahan menjadi berbagai produk menu ikan. 3) Munculnya ide-ide kreatif dan inovatif tentang nilai ekonomis ikan olahan untuk dijadikan alternatif usaha baru guna meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga

Abstract

Seaweed Farmer Group, technically not maximally managed seaweed business properly due to lack of knowledge andskills of PKM partner groups in processing seaweed so that it can be of economic value. It is expected that this CommunityPartnership Program, can solve the problems faced by partners through culinary products with better quantity and quality, bydiversifying processed seaweed products. This PKM approach: Participatory Learning and Action Community Empowerment.Using methods, namely: 1) lectures, 2) discussion and question and answer, and 3) demonstration and application. Thenaccompanied by assistance with the production process and the packaging process. PKM program results show 1) an increase inPKM partner knowledge about the benefits and nutritional value contained in seaweed, as well as how to diversify variousprocessed fresh seaweed; 2) PKM partners have skills in how to make seaweed meatballs and seaweed nuggets; 3) PKM partnershave the knowledge and skills on how to package good and healthy products, and label products so that they have economicalvalue.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of community devotion through the Community partnership Program, is to provide the knowledge and diversification skills of marine fish into the sweetened soft-barbed sea fish to the group of women fishermen Corowali 1 as a partner of PKM. In hopes of motivating fishermen housewives and dropouts of young women as well as managers and group members to develop marine fish processed products. The method of implementing the Community Partnership Program (PKM), namely through training, demonstration, and mentoring equipped with learning by doing techniques. For the enhancement of the knowledge and skills of the group of women fishermen and village communities especially mothers of housewives and young women dropouts then the approach is used that approach the Partisipatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Results of the PKM activities show that the increasing knowledge and skills of Farmer's housewives and young women are dropouts about the benefits and nutritional values contained in marine fish, and how to choose the marine fish that can be combined. Similarly, the process or the way of making sweet pindang soft fish barbed sea and the emergence of the entrepreneurial soul of trainees and society during the mentoring.

Abstract

The aim of community service activities through the Community Partnership Program (PKM) is to provide knowledge and skills for the diversification of palm sugar processing, as well as the packaging and labeling process of brown sugar crafters in partner farmer groups. With the hope of motivating brown sugar artisans to develop ant sugar refined products and other processed products made from palm sap. The method of implementing community service activities through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), namely through counseling / socialization and training as well as with assistance. The results of the implementation of the Community Partnership Program (PKM) showed that the high activity of trainees and counselors in the question and answer session and discussion as well as demonstrations and application / field application related to the material on how to make ant sugar from the basic ingredients of palm sugar, indicated an increase in knowledge and skills community in Gattareng Village, Barru Regency. Increasing the knowledge and skills of the community also shows that through training and counseling in accordance with the local potential of their region will be able to change the mindset of the community, especially palm sugar crafters in PKM program farmer groups. The positive impact on increasing knowledge and skills in processing natural resources in the region is a form of community empowerment to increase their income and welfare.

Abstract

The more advanced technology that humans use in their lives, it does affect behavior and lifestyle, including food consumption problems. Along with the increase of public income, consumption of fish products have been increased in both fresh fish and especially processed fish in a modern day. Barru District especially in Pancana village is one of the potential areas in the field of maritime and fisheries. Area of sea fishing and ponds around 56,160 Ha, pond 2,570 Ha beach 1,400 ha and pond cultivation area or freshwater 39 Ha. While the current fishery production is: shrimp (633.01 tonnes); Milkfish (, 552.08 tons); Cakalang/Cob (260.6 tonnes); Grouper/Snapper (744 tons); Red fish (97.02 tonnes); and seaweed (251.07 tons) that have been tested and are good enough. In the sub-district of Tanete Rilau Barru, several groups of fishermen, the village of its members cultivate milkfish and shrimp windu in ponds, ponds and cages using the technique of heavy water pond and in the rice fields (the system of Mina Padi and brackish). This is possible with the source of water originating from the location of natural waterfalls and baths in Tanete Riaja Sub-district located in the region. Given the potential, the development of seawater fish in this region has been developed by farmers or fishermen in recent years.

Abstract

The program activities of the KKN PPM aims toenhance students' awareness and empathy towards theproblems facing the village community service learning, sothat changes the behavior of the students, and the target group.In addition to empowering the women of fishermen VillagesPancana and Alumpangeng Sub Tanete Rilau, Barru Regencyin the framework of the achievement of the targets have beenformulated. Specific targets to be achieved is the increase inproduction and quality of processing fish that used to offer itonly drained, but through KKN PPM is, people are invited tofish processing into other products such as meatballs andshredded fish, brain-brain-based foods as well as other fish.With a better processing and hygienic and attractive packaging,strengthening the institutional system a group of marine fish,the fisherman's increased income and crafters community dueto the production of processed fish products increased, the fishof the sea be qualified and have high competitiveness. As wellas the formation of the villages of Pancana and Alumpangengas a model village for the production of sea fish products thatare valued economically. The strategy used is theempowerment of the target group approach to PRE(Partisipatory Rural Appraisal) method, with the education,training, mentoring, demplot and equipped with the techniqueslearned while working (learning by doing). Plan activitiesinclude: demplot, training and mentoring are first carried outsocialization through counseling. Training materials include:(1) Production technology and application of naturalpreservative sea fish, (2) technology of the manufacture ofprocessed sea fish food (the brain-the brain, Nuggets,meatballs and shredded fish), (3) hygienic food manufacturingtechnology and packaging that menarikdengan energy/firewood, (4) Labelisasi PIRT marine fish food products thatare attractive and hygienic, (5) the application of the healthykitchen practices, (6) sea fish food manufacturing technologyand improved nutrition, (7) institutional strengthening of thegroup, (8) the strengthening of network marketing.

Abstract

The aims of community activities through trainingand outreach the KKN-PPM program, to increase society'sknowledge and skills in making natural preservative from theleaves of cloves. The method of implementation of trainingactivities and outreach is done through the methods oftechnology transfer, demplot (pilot project), andaccompaniment with the approach of the Partisipatory RuralAppraisal (PRA). The main target groups, i.e. the coconutpalm sugar Crafters and on Crafters Group of palm sugar.Being among the target group, i.e. the Group of farmers/women farmers, driving of PKK village, and teenage dropouts.Then the evaluation of the results of training and outreach,carried out on going evaluation and post evaluation. Theresults of the activities of the community shows that,implementation of training and outreach and mentoring in themanufacture of natural preservative from clove leaf throughthe KKN-PPM program, has been able to increase theknowledge and skills of participants training in the processingof natural resources available in district Pujananting. Thesuccess of training and outreach through the KKN-PPMprograms, looks also can encourage the growth of creativeideas and innovative and entrepreneurial souls trainee andvillagers during the KKN PPM program were execution.

Abstract

Pancana Village is one of the villages in the district of Tanete Rilau, Barru District which is one of the areas in South Sulawesi that has the potential sea resources in the form of sea of snapper, fish, mackerel, tuna, and fish Other commercial that is so large in number, and very possible for the development of marine fish industry centers and also diversified processed from this sea fish into food such as brain-brain fish, fish balls, fish and fish pepes, shrimp, crabs King and sea shells etc. Currently, the management of seafood such as pepes, shrimp mango sauce, grilled squid and various sea shells is still very less done at the inhabitants of Pancana village. People in Pancana village especially processing on farmers or fishermen fish, shrimp, crabs etc, only sell directly the catch or only on the group of partners, generally still traditionally managed and rely solely on cultivation Only sold directly, so the new product is limited to marine fish sold raw or dry sold at a very cheap price. The most basic problem is related to the lack of knowledge and skills of craftsmen or sea fish fishermen farmers or other sea products in groups of partners about the quality of marine fish and sea prawns and diversification of processed results Sea fish, shrimp, clams and crabs that can motivate fishermen farmers to develop processed products with fish-based, shrimp, squid, crab etc. into the processed diversification and cultivation of seafood, and packaging is still simple. Therefore, the purpose of community dedication activities through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), as follows: 1) improvement of seaweed cultivation process, 2) diversification of processed seaweed cottonii sp, and 3) packaging and labeling process. Abstract
