Abstract

Objective: The technology is main component in innovation, especially on industry manufacturing to increases production capability. The aim of this study is to examine the total factor productivity growth (TFPg) and its component in Indonesian industry manufacturing based on technology improvement. Method: The stochastic frontier analyses are used to calculate (TFPg). This study attempts to analyses the variation in the TFPg across year, and technology adaption. Results:  The first is the analysis of year-wise comparison, show that experiences negative TFP growth or the average TFP score of current period degrades down from average score in the prior period. Second is the analysis based on technology adaption, show that the degression of productivities are mainly driven by technological regress indicating that the majority firms need innovation in technology utilized in the production process. The medium-high technology on industry manufacturing has highest score of TFP, means technology improvement support on firm productivity. Novelty: The lack of analysis regarding TFPg using a technology adaptation approach makes it a challenge to dig deeper.

Abstract

Research Originality: Poverty is an important issue in the discussion of economic development. The problem of household poverty in Indonesia is not enough to be analyzed at the macro level; it should also be analyzed in microeconomic settings. Research Objectives: This study uses secondary data sourced from the results of the Indonesian Family Life Survey (IFLS) surveys in 2007 and 2014 to determine the trends in household characteristics (social, economic, and demographic) and their influence on the level of welfare of poor households, the share of household spending inequality, and poverty alleviation strategies through a household-based policy approach in Indonesia.Research Methods: Meanwhile, the research method used is Multinomial Logistic Regression.Empirical Results: The results of the study found that the education level of the head of the household, place of residence, and household size contributed to the value of the opportunity of the household welfare position in each category. Meanwhile, Javanese have the highest level of inequality in terms of ethnic expenditure distribution and the lowest in terms of welfare.Implications: This study implies that the condition of the head of the family dramatically influences welfare at the household level.JEL Classification: C49, O11, Q01, R58

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the intricate dynamics of servant leadership and its impact on intrinsic motivation within the medical field, with a particular focus on the roles of trust as a moderator and team efficacy as a mediator. A sample of 200 hospital employees was surveyed using self-administered questionnaires. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS software to test the hypothesized relationships. The findings reveal that servant leadership significantly enhances intrinsic motivation, with trust amplifying this effect as a moderator, and team efficacy serving as a crucial mediator. Specifically, trust strengthens the relationship between servant leadership and team efficacy, which in turn, boosts intrinsic motivation. These results provide valuable insights into how servant leadership can be leveraged in healthcare settings to foster a motivated and effective workforce. The study addresses a critical gap in leadership literature by highlighting the dual roles of trust and team efficacy in the servant leadership process. The implications of this research suggest that healthcare organizations should focus on cultivating servant leadership qualities among their leaders, as well as fostering a trust-rich environment and promoting team efficacy to enhance employee motivation and overall performance.

Abstract

Vocational education in Indonesia is emphasized not only to develop competent workers but also to foster innovative and independent entrepreneurs, aligning with government policies to create more young entrepreneurs amid global competition and evolving job market demands. This study aims to investigating the influence between economic education and entrepreneurial competence (ECOMP), with entrepreneurial knowledge (EK) as a mediator. This study employs a quantitative approach, using surveys conducted at vocational high schools in Jakarta. A sample of 247 students was collected through convenience sampling, and data was processed using structural equation modeling (SEM) with Amos 25. The study found that economics education (EC) significantly enhances EK and competence among vocational high school students, both directly and indirectly. By developing a strong understanding of economic and business concepts, students are better equipped to succeed in the business activities. The findings emphasize the importance of improving EC with a focus on practical applications to help students acquire the essential skills required to achieve success as entrepreneurs.
