Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quantitative. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kausal asosiatif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Negeri Malang angkatan 2011. Sampel menggunakan teknik proporsional random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner dan pengujian. Saat menganalisis data menggunakan media analisis. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa; (1) pendidikan ekonomi keluarga mempengaruhi secara signifikan dan positif terhadap perilaku konsumsi (2) pendidikan ekonomi keluraga mempengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan literasi ekonomi (3) lterasi ekonomi mempengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumsi (4) pendidikan ekonomi keluarga mempengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap gaya hidup (5) gaya hidup mempengaruhi secara positif dan signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumsi (6) efek tidak langsung dari pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi melalui perilaku ekonomi (7) efek tidak langsung dari pendidikan ekonomi keluarga terhadap perilaku konsumsi melalui gaya hidup. Kata kunci: gaya hidup, perilaku konsumsi, perilaku ekonomi, pendidikan ekonomi keluarga

Abstract

Abstrak: Program pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan keterampilan berupa pemberian pelatihan tentang ketrampilan decoupage serta cara pemasarannya sehingga dapat menambah penghasilan bagi masyarakat kecamatan Pesantren di Kota Kediri. Selain itu, produk dari pelatihan ini diharapkan juga bisa menjadi produk unggulan di pedesaan di kota Kediri. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini dilakukan melalui beberapata tahapan antara lain tahap membangun komitmen, tahap pengorganisasian masyarakat, tahap penilaian kebutuhan, tahap perencaan kegiatan dan kegiatan pelaksanaan. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini antara lain adalah produk decoupage yang memiliki nilai jual sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga kelompok wanita di Kecamatan Pesantren. Lebih lanjut, produk ini juga diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu produk unggulan kecamatan ini. Selain itu, hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa pendampingan pemasaran dengan melalui sosial media melalui facebook dan instagram.Abstract: The program aims to provide assisting and training in decoupage craft and present how to market them as well as increasing income for local community. In addition, the product is expected to be a superior product of Pesantren in Kediri. The method used in this program is carried out through several stages including the commitment building, community organizing, needs assessment, planning activities and implementation. The results of this program include high value decoupage products that increasing the household income of women's groups in Pesantren of Kediri. Furthermore, this product is also forecasted to be one of the sub-district's superior products. The results of this program will be in the form of marketing assistance through social media through Facebook and Instagram.

Abstract

This study aims at understanding the implementation of debate-based learning models on critical thinking skill of economic students in senior high school. This research was conducted in a senior high school in Malang particularly in SMA Laboratory UM. The study applied a classroom action research by comparing students’ critical thinking skills during research period. The level of critical thinking skill adopted Structure Observed Learning Outcome (SOLO) Taxonomy which consisting of Prestructural, Unistructural, Multistuctural, Relational, and Extended Abstract Thinking Skills. The findings showed that a remarkable change of students’ critical thinking skills during cycles. The average of post-test score between cycles increased by 11.9 percent. In addition, the level of students critical thinking skill was dominated by Prestructural, Unistructural, Multistructural then it move noticeably to the greater level which is Multistructural, Relational and Extended Abstract. From these results,it can be concluded that the implementation of debate-based learning can stimulate students’ learning activities and critical thinking skills.Keywords: Debate-Based Learning, Critical Thinking, Students’ Activities

Abstract

The purpose of this study investigated and understand impact of Problem-Based Learning on students’ achievement in the economic course through lesson study. This kind a classroom action research in the subject of money and bank in order to participate in solving problems related materials. The Subject of this study is Grade 9 student in academic year 2016/2017. The implementation classroom action research conducted in two cycles comprising Planning, Implementation, observing, and reflection stages. The result of this study that Problem-Based Learning through lessons has been well implemented including the completeness of the learning tools and preparing the Lesson Plans before teaching on each teaching material. Based on the results of the implementation of lesson study using Problem-Based Learning model can be concluded that Problem-Based Learning through on the learning can improve student achievement.Keywords: Problem-Based Learning, Student Achievement, Classroom Research DOI: 10.17977/um013v1i12017p001

Abstract

Investment as a means of developing assets is no longer a luxury activity reserved for a select few. Nowadays, as financial technology advances, everyone has equal access to investment information. This change generates new perspectives in which investing is not restricted to the wealthy, leading everyone, even on-budget millennials to be investors. The purpose of this research is to determine the variables affecting investing decisions at an early age, especially among millennials. This research adopted single-equation regression models to examine the dependent variable on several explanatory variables and estimate mean or average value. The data was generated using a questionnaire to 140 respondents. Three distinct variables utilized as independent variables are financial literacy, motivation, and the digitization of investing platforms. The findings indicate that financial literacy and motivation substantially affect millennials’ investment decisions, while digitization presents no correlation to the Millennials’ investment decisions.

Abstract

Barriers to entry of housing affordability are not only existed in urban but also in rural areas. This condition makes rural households difficult to obtain their own house. However, it is still common for them to ask help from parents, in term of financial support or buy the house for them. The purpose of this paper aimed at understanding the phenomenon of society in the rural area to meet their need for house ownership. This research used the descriptive method, employed 15 participants in the Village of Olak-Alen, District of Selorejo, Regency of Blitar, Indonesia. The results of this research showed that newly formed households find their most significant obstacle to own house is inadequate income. Their low income is majorly caused by lack of financial literacy and insufficient work experience.

Abstract

This study aimed at analyzing the relationship between human development index, poverty level and gross regional domestic product in Malang Regency in Indonesia. This research was initiated by the poverty level which shows a moderate level in Malang Regency and how its impact on gross regional domestic product after the Development of Southern Cross Lane (JLS) in Malang. The study applied an explanatory research using time series data between 2014 and 2018. For the analysis, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) was applied to understand the relationship between variables both in the short-term and in the long-term. The findings showed that in the short-run both variables have a negative correlation with gross regional domestic product. Meanwhile, in the long-run, human development index has a negative relationship to gross regional domestic product, whilst poverty variables positively affects gross regional domestic product.

Abstract

This study is intended to identify the level of compatibility documents planning (RPJPD, RPJMD, and RKPD) between provincial and city/regency in East Java of Indonesia. In addition, this study also provides a framework in proposing documents for each city/regency in East Java. This research applied a qualitative method using content analysis. This study employed both primary and secondary data to gain a deeper understanding to the existing phenomenon. The primary data was gathered from in-depth interviews, while secondary data was achieved from several documents owned by each city/regency in East Java provincial. The findings of the study reveal that in general, the substance of the RPJMD in the twenty regencies/cities in East Java of Indonesia is in accordance with the provincial plan. However, there are several different sections of the format in the placement of chapters and sub-chapters of the naming of chapters. In the broader sense, the substance of the RKPD in the twenty regencies/cities is in accordance with the provincial plan.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 membuat UKM batik terpaksa untuk menurunkan produksinya karena penurunan daya beli masyarakat. Kondisi ini dialami salah satu UKM yaitu Batik Liris Manis yang berada di Majan, Tulungagung yang berdiri sejak tahun 2013-sekarang. UKM Batik Liris Manis merupakan pembatik tulis dengan motif pakem tradisional Tulungagung. Karena produk yang dijual merupakan batik tulis, sehingga mereka telah memiliki pasar tersendiri yaitu pecinta batik tulis yang sering mendatangi pameran batik. Namun, kondisi pandemi memaksa para UKM batik tulis untuk tidak mengadakan pameran luring. Dengan kondisi penurunan perekonomian diakibatkan kurangnya penjualan secara luring, tentu saja UKM batik Liris Manis membutuhkan inovasi produk berupa batik cap agar lebih bisa menjangkau pasar lebih luas. Perluasan pemasaran dengan cara membuka penjualan melalui mix marketing strategy dengan cara pembuatan akun dan pelatihan penggunanaa marketplace. Dengan adanya beberapa permasalahan diatas, maka program ini memberikan solusi berupa (1) pembuatan canting cap yang mempresentasikan motif-motif batik khas Tulungagung, (2) pembuatan bejana/jembangan tembaga untuk proses perebusan kain batik, dan (3) pemberian pelatihan pemasaran melalui marketplace serta pembuatan katalog dengan desain yang eksklusif. Hasil dari program ini yaitu 1) terciptanya cap batik dengan desain batik khas Tulungagung, 2) bejana tembaga untuk proses perebusan kain batik, dan 3) adanya marketplace serta berbagai macam media sosial untuk pemasaran secara online. Dengan program yang dapat terlaksana dengan baik, UKM Batik Liris Manis tercapai eksalasi potensinya. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini utamanya ditujukan agar meningkatkan kesejahteraan pengrajin dan membantu ekonomi lokal. Kata kunci—Batik, Eskalasi UKM, Mix Marketing Strategy, Inovasi Produk  Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic, batik SMEs were forced to reduce their production due to a decline in people’s purchasing power. This condition is experienced by one of the SMEs, namely Batik Liris Manis which is located in Majan, Tulungagung which was established in 2013 to present. SMEs Batik Liris Manis is a handwritten batik with traditional Tulungagung motifs. Because the products they sell are written batik, they have their own market, namely batik lovers who often come to batik exhibitions. However, the pandemic conditions forced batik SMEs not to hold offline exhibitions. With the economic downturn caused by the lack of offline sales, of course, Liris Manis batik SMEs need product innovation in the form of stamped batik so that they can reach a wider market. Marketing expansion by opening sales through a mix marketing strategy by creating accounts and training on marketplace users. With some of the problems above, this program provides solutions in the form of (1) making canting caps that present typical Tulungagung batik motifs, (2) making copper vessels for the process of boiling batik cloth, and (3) providing marketing training through the marketplace. as well as cataloging with exclusive designs. The results of this program are 1) the creation of a batik stamp with a typical Tulungagung batik design, 2) a copper vessel for the process of boiling batik cloth, and 3) the existence of a marketplace and various social media for online marketing. With a program that can be implemented well, SMEs Batik Liris Manis has reached its potential escalation. The efforts made in this activity are primarily aimed at improving the welfare of craftsmen and helping the local economy. Keywords— Batik, SMEs Escalation, Mix Marketing Strategy, Product Innovation

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung masyarakat di Desa Sumbersekar Kecamatan Dau Kabupaten Malang yang tergabung dalam industri rumahan dalam pengelola usahanya melalui pembentukan rest area. Dengan adanya rest area ini diharapkan mampu menjadi wadah yang mendukung dan memfasilitasi para pelaku usaha dalam memasarkan produknya. Produk yang dihasilkan memiliki ciri khas tersendiri berdasarkan potensi yang dimiliki di desa tersebut. Antusias masyarakat menjadi motivasi untuk Desa dalam mengembangkan rest area ini sampai berhasil dan mampu mendukung para pelaku usaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini antara lain survei lokasi rest area, focus group discussion (FGD), sosialisasi dan pendampingan para pelaku usaha industri rumahan dalam pemasarannya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini cukup signifikan terlihat dari pendampingan yang dilakukan, karena adanya antusiasme masyarakat dan juga dukungan desa dalam mengembangkan para pelaku usaha yang tergabung daam kelompok industri rumahan untuk mewujudkan pembangunan rest area ini hingga rest area ini dapat terkonsep dalam sebuah desain lokasi dan kesiapan para pelaku usaha di kelompok usaha Desa Sumbersekar. Kata kunci— Industri Rumahan, Pemasaran, Rest Area  Abstract This community service activity aims to support the community in Sumbersekar Village, Dau District in Malang Regency, which are members of the home industry in managing their business by establishing a rest area. This rest area is expected to become a forum that supports and facilitates business actors in marketing their products. The resulting product has its characteristics based on the potential in the village. The community's enthusiasm is the motivation for the village to develop this rest area until it is successful and able to support business actors. The methods used in this activity include surveys of rest area locations, focus group discussions (FGD), socialization, and assistance to home industry business actors in marketing. The results of this activity are quite significant, as can be seen from the assistance carried out in the enthusiasm of the community and also village support in developing business actors who are members of the home industry group to realize the construction of this rest area so that this rest area can be conceptualized in a location design and the readiness of the community members business actors in the Sumbersekar Village business group. Keywords— Home Industry, Marketing, Rest Area
