Abstract

It is recorded that around 80% of DIY MSMEs have no right platform to market their products digitally. DIY MSMEs still lack in terms of innovation and the desire to improve quality through digital. Through the Provincial Cooperative SME Service, the DIY government collaborates with PT JogjaKita Multi Andalan to deal with these problems. Therefore, this research aims to discover the collaboration model between the DIY Government and entrepreneurs through the JogjaKita application in the revitalization of digital-based MSMEs in the digital era 4.0. This research used a qualitative method with a case study approach and analyzed using an interactive model assisted by Nvivo 12 Plus. The research results show that the established collaboration is relatively successful. The collaboration model begins with a face-to-face dialog, and then building trust which takes a long time, around two years due to an internal conflict within the JogjaKita Company. This collaboration is quite helpful for several MSMEs in increasing the capacity and sales transactions. However, some obstacles still need to be faced, such as the small number of MSME actors who use the SiBakul free shipping service on the JogjaKita application, as well as the uneven distribution of infrastructure network in DIY.

Abstract

This community empowerment activity aims to increase awareness and involvement of youth and mothers in systematic waste management, as well as to realize a structured waste management strategy through the "Keranjang Sedekah Sampah" and "Maggot Cultivation" initiatives. This activity is carried out by providing socialization to provide basic knowledge about waste management, workshops to train practical skills such as waste sorting and maggot cultivation, mentoring to ensure effective program implementation, and evaluation to assess the success and sustainability of the program in the community. The results of this community service activity show the enthusiasm of participation, especially from mothers, in sorting waste and adopting maggot cultivation as a solution to organic waste management. This community service activity also succeeded in establishing "Keranjang Sedekah Sampah" points and a pilot site for "Maggot Cultivation". However, youth participation still needs to be improved, and there are challenges in the form of resistance to maggot cultivation. This program significantly improved the community's understanding of sustainable waste management, but further efforts are needed to increase youth involvement and optimize the program's sustainability

Abstract

The protection and well-being of women and children are essential pillars for fostering a safe, and resilient society. This community service initiative focuses on enhancing the safety and support systems for women and children in ‘Aisiyah organization Caturharjo, Sleman, by integrating family and community efforts. Through a participatory approach, the program emphasizes awareness-raising, and collaborative strategies to empower local stakeholders and promote a culture of shared responsibility. The initiative underscores the critical roles of family units, community organizations, and local leadership in preventing violence, ensuring access to essential services, and advocating for gender-sensitive and child-friendly policies. Engaging families and communities in dialogue and action, the program seeks to address systemic challenges and create a protective environment for vulnerable groups. Findings from the initiative reveal that the synergy between family and community efforts significantly contributes to sustainable protection measures and strengthens social resilience. The success of this initiative highlights the importance of inclusive, community-driven approaches in safeguarding women and children, offering valuable insights for replication in other regions. This community service effort not only addresses immediate safety concerns but also lays the foundation for long-term social change, demonstrating the transformative potential of collective action in building safer and more equitable communities.

Abstract

Sustainable water management remains a global challenge, especially in ensuring equitable access to clean water and sanitation. This research utilizes the PRISMA model and bibliometric analysis with VOSviewer to identify trends, major clusters, and gaps in the literature. The novelty of this study lies in the comprehensive bibliometric approach, which not only identifies research trends but also highlights critical gaps in policy effectiveness as well as public engagement in water and sanitation management. The results show that, despite various global efforts, governments are still unable to effectively address water management challenges, especially in ensuring equitable access to clean water and sanitation. In addition, the lack of public awareness of the environment is a significant obstacle. This research contributes to the existing literature by presenting a structured analysis of scholarly contributions, identifying key research clusters, and offering policy recommendations to bridge the gap between governance and community engagement in water sustainability efforts.

Abstract

Background: Improper disposal can lead to severe pollution, contaminating soil and water sources. To address this issue, a community service program was launched in Selopamioro Village to educate residents on reusing used cooking oil into more beneficial products, such as soap. Beyond its environmental benefits, the program also aims to enhance participants' skills and entrepreneurial abilities, providing a sustainable source of income. Method: The program engaged 30 youths and 35 housewives and was structured in three phases: (1) an awareness campaign to highlight the environmental and economic benefits of reusing used cooking oil, (2) hands-on soap-making training that guided participants step by step and (3) an evaluation phase to assess the program's effectiveness and gather feedback. Result: This program has shown a positive impact by increasing environmental awareness and practical skills among participants. The high level of enthusiasm and positive feedback reflect the program’s successful implementation. It effectively empowered the community, particularly women, through soap-making training using used cooking oil, which not only created income opportunities but also fostered environmental responsibility. The program contributed to reducing household waste and supported local economic growth. Its success demonstrates strong potential for replication in other communities. Conclusion: Continued support in business management, marketing, and product innovation is essential to ensure the program’s sustainability.

Abstract

This study presents a bibliometric analysis of digital policy research, evaluating its thematic evolution and theoretical underpinnings across international journals. Utilizing the Scopus search engine, the research identifies and classifies digital policy publications from 2013 to 2023, and VOSviewer software was employed to visualize trends, network linkages, and information production. The findings indicate a notable lack of theory-driven research in the digital policy domain, with a majority of studies focusing on empirical or applied aspects rather than foundational theory. This gap is particularly pronounced in areas like cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital governance. Additionally, the study reveals that interdisciplinary journals contribute more to theory-based digital policy research than specialized publications. The research calls for greater integration of theoretical frameworks in digital policy studies to address global digital challenges better. It highlights the need for scholars to explicitly link their work to theory, thus enriching policy development and offering more comprehensive solutions to emerging technological issues. Failure to incorporate theory consistently represents a missed opportunity to influence the broader discourse on digital governance and policy making.
