Abstract

Character education is the main foundation in shaping the personality and morals of the younger generation in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with field studies to understand and describe the process of character building at this madrasah. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Islamic religious education policies at MA Darul Amin plays a significant role in enhancing the students' religious character and noble morals. Programs such as daily worship routines, character education based on Islamic values, Islamic extracurricular activities, and an Islamic school environment contribute to the character formation of students. Strengthening the role of teachers as role models and collaboration with parents and the community are also key factors in the success of this program. This study found that Islamic religious education at MA Darul Amin not only enhances students' spirituality but also strengthens their social awareness. The implementation of this policy shapes students who not only excel academically but also possess good character and are ready to contribute positively to society. This research contributes to the development of Islamic religious education policies in Southeast Aceh and the improvement of the quality of education at MA Darul Amin Kutacane.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of ISO 9001 quality management in managing the quality of facilities and infrastructure at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN), Yogyakarta. ISO 9001, as an international standard for quality management systems, provides a structured framework designed to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability in the management of educational resources. The research employs a literature review method by analyzing journals, books, and official documents related to the implementation of ISO 9001 in the education sector, particularly within the context of Islamic higher education institutions. The analysis reveals that implementing ISO 9001 at UIN Sunan Kalijaga significantly improves the quality of facilities and infrastructure through a process-based approach, a focus on user satisfaction, and continuous evaluation and improvement. This standard enables the university to manage resources systematically, prioritize key needs, and ensure service sustainability. However, the implementation of ISO 9001 faces challenges such as limited staff understanding, resistance to organizational culture change, resource constraints, and complexities in documentation processes. The study concludes that despite these challenges, the application of ISO 9001 remains effective in improving the management of facilities and infrastructure at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. To support better implementation, the recommendations include enhancing staff training, allocating adequate resources, and optimizing technology to sustain the quality management system effectively.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times, human knowledge is increasingly developing so that branches of Islamic education science are born. The progress of the times is also inseparable from the birth of new complex problems, especially in Islamic education. this requires multidisciplinary science to be able to formulate innovative solutions with the Imre Lakatos paradigm and its implications in Islamic education. This research uses qualitative methods (library research). The data used is from Primary and secondary sources generated from several literatures and the presentation of data presented in the form of descriptive . Then, this research aims to explain the paradigm of Imre Lakatos' thinking methodology. In the research program methodology Imre Lakatos says that knowledge is sustainable and the core of his thinking is hard core, protectives-belt, and a series of theory. Lakatos' research program uses the heoristic method. Its relevance to Islamic education lies in the Qur'an and Sunnah which are the core of Islamic understanding serving as the main pillars on which Islamic studies are built. Both are known as protective belts because they have absolute quality and can be understood in various scientific contexts.

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) is an essential field within organizations that encompasses individuals' relationships and roles in achieving a company's or institution's objectives. HRM is especially important in educational institutions because it involves balancing educators' needs with the institution's capabilities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method and a field approach to observe the effectiveness of Islamic education management in improving the quality of education at MA. Nurul Muttahidah Pinotu. The research findings suggest that human resource management, encompassing activities such as planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling, has a substantial impact on improving the quality of education. Furthermore, the school principal's leadership plays a crucial role in effectively coordinating and inspiring teachers, as well as in creating a curriculum that is both pertinent and groundbreaking. In addition, the recruitment and selection of educators, as well as the training and professional development of teachers, also play a significant role in enhancing the quality of education. Furthermore, the implementation of performance standards, evaluation, and constructive feedback is essential for effective teaching and achieving positive student learning outcomes. The successful implementation of efficient Human Resource Management (HRM) practices at MA Nurul Muttahidah Pinotu has resulted in notable enhancements in the performance of both teachers and staff. These improvements have been facilitated through the implementation of diverse initiatives, including training programs and opportunities for professional development.

Abstract

Globalisasi membawa dampak signifikan pada berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk pendidikan. Pendidikan Islam, sebagai bagian integral dari sistem pendidikan nasional menghadapi tantangan tersendiri dalam era globalisasi yang ditandai dengan perubahan sosial, budaya, dan teknologi yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis strategi pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dengan menggunakan jenis peneitian kualitatif. Dengan metode kepustakaan secara mendalam. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola dan tema utama yang berkaitan dengan strategi yang diterapkan dalam pendidikan Islam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pendidikan Islam dalam menghadapi globalisasi meliputi penguatan nilai-nilai moral dan spiritual, integrasi teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran, peningkatan kualitas pendidik melalui pelatihan dan pengembangan profesional, serta pembaharuan kurikulum yang relevan dengan tuntutan zaman tanpa menghilangkan esensi nilai-nilai Islam. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengambil kebijakan dan praktisi pendidikan dalam merumuskan kebijakan dan praktik pendidikan Islam yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap tantangan globalisasi, serta memperkuat peran pendidikan Islam dalam membentuk generasi yang unggul secara akademis dan berakhlak mulia.Globalization has a significant impact on various aspects of life, including education. Islamic education, as an integral part of the national education system faces its own challenges in an era of globalization marked by rapid social, cultural, and technological changes. This research aims to identify and analyze the strategies of Islamic education in facing the challenges of globalization using qualitative research methods. By conducting in-depth literature reviews, the collected data is analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify patterns and key themes related to the strategies implemented in Islamic education. The results show that the strategies of Islamic education in facing globalization include strengthening moral and spiritual values, integrating technology into the learning process, improving the quality of educators through training and professional development, and updating the curriculum to be relevant to contemporary demands without losing the essence of Islamic values. This article is expected to provide insights for policymakers and education practitioners in formulating adaptive and responsive Islamic education policies and practices in response to the challenges of globalization, and to strengthen the role of Islamic education in shaping academically excellent and morally virtuous generations.

Abstract

Lembaga pendidikan Islam memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk karakter dan moral generasi muda Muslim, namun sering kali menghadapi keterbatasan dalam pembiayaan. Filantropi Islam, melalui zakat, infaq, sedekah, dan wakaf, memiliki potensi besar sebagai solusi pendanaan alternatif. Lazismu, sebagai lembaga filantropi Islam terbesar di Indonesia, berperan penting dalam mengelola dan mendistribusikan dana filantropi ini secara efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi peran filantropi Islam dalam mendukung pembiayaan pendidikan alternatif di lembaga pendidikan Islam yang dikelola oleh Lazismu. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menganalisis pengelolaan dan distribusi dana filantropi serta dampaknya terhadap kualitas pendidikan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai potensi filantropi Islam sebagai solusi pembiayaan pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dan berkeadilan, serta mendorong lebih banyak partisipasi dalam mendukung pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini juga memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi Lazismu dan lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya dalam mengoptimalkan dana filantropi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kontribusi filantropi Islam diharapkan dapat membangun generasi Muslim yang cerdas, berkarakter, dan berdaya saing tinggi.Education is one of the main pillars in the development of a nation, including in the Islamic community. Islamic educational institutions play a crucial role in shaping the character and morals of young Muslims, but they often face limitations in funding. Islamic philanthropy, through zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf, holds great potential as an alternative funding solution. Lazismu, as the largest Islamic philanthropic organization in Indonesia, plays an important role in managing and distributing these philanthropic funds effectively. This research aims to explore the role of Islamic philanthropy in supporting alternative education funding in Islamic educational institutions managed by Lazismu. Using a qualitative approach, this study analyzes the management and distribution of philanthropic funds and their impact on the quality of education. The results of this research are expected to provide in-depth insights into the potential of Islamic philanthropy as a sustainable and equitable education funding solution, as well as to encourage greater participation in supporting Islamic education. This study also provides strategic recommendations for Lazismu and other Islamic educational institutions in optimizing philanthropic funds to improve the quality of education. The contribution of Islamic philanthropy is expected to build a generation of Muslims who are intelligent, have strong character, and are highly competitive.

Abstract

Education is a defense premise that has the goal of developing values and skills in students. Education, according to Ibn Sina, focuses more on formal learning and independent learning. This makes the author think that Ibn Sina's perspective is still valid and can be taken.The research method used is library research by (1) modifying the problem, (2) looking for related articles, (3) sorting out information and (4) analyzing the data obtained. The result of this study is that Ibn Sina's perspective education is motivated by his philosophical thoughts. So that the purpose of Education from Ibn Sina's perspective prioritizes the application to the soul of the students. The educational methods used by Ibn Sina are: Discussion method, talqin method, demonstration method, habituation and example method, internship method, assignment method, targhib and tarhib method. So that in this Ibn Sina education a teacher must be able to take his attention, be able to take his heart. The relevance to the independent curriculum is in the same goal, namely: Students with noble character and high insight display superior and competitive quality of human resources. And the methodology of Ibn Sina's education is very relevant to the development of the current independent curriculum.
