Abstract

The Ramadan Islamic Boarding School Program is an annual program held at SMP Negeri 2 Pakem Bondowoso as a means to deepen basic Islamic knowledge for students. This article aims to explore the results and understanding of the Pesrom Program in improving students' understanding of how to prevent violence in schools. The research method used is a method to introduce sensitivity knowledge and skills to students that allows them to jump directly into a diverse cultural group. This method is divided into five stages, namely the preparation stage, the action stage, the reflection stage, the evaluation stage, and the celebration stage. The results of the study show that (1). Religious, including increasing students' understanding of religious teachings, students' consistency in carrying out compulsory worship. And the active participation of students in religious activities. (2). Social, including the development of students' social skills, building a sense of togetherness and solidarity, establishing a more harmonious relationship between students, teachers and school staff. (3). Education, including the ability of students to apply Islamic values in daily life.

Abstract

The development of digital technology provides significant opportunities for children to gain new learning experiences, but also presents challenges in parenting. Parents are required to have adequate digital literacy to be able to guide their children wisely in using technology. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to formulate digital literacy-based early childhood parenting strategies through focus group discussions (FGDs) with parents. Participants included parents who discussed perceptions, obstacles, and practices of digital parenting. The FGD results indicated that most parents recognize the benefits of technology as an educational medium, but face obstacles in implementing digital controls, such as limited understanding of parental control features and difficulty managing screen time. Good practices that emerged included implementing device use schedules, selecting educational apps, and active parental involvement when children use digital media. Effective parenting strategies in the technology era must integrate active mentoring, implementing rules for digital media use, and strengthening parents' digital literacy capacity.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of fundamental factor and technical factor on stock returns. The population in this study is companies list in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2017. The study sample was determined by purposive sampling method so that obtained as 192 samples. The data analysis technique used is multiple linier regression. The results of this study showed that the profitability, cash flow operating activities, dan risk (beta) have positive significance effect on stock returns, whereas exchange rate and interest rate have negative significance effect on stock returns. Meanwhile, leverage and Economic Value Added (EVA) haven’t significance effect on stock returns. Keywords : stock returns, profitability, cash flow operating activities, exchange rate, beta

Abstract

Speaking ability is an important aspect of early childhood development because it forms the basis of communication, learning, and social interaction. This study aims to describe parental strategies for stimulating speaking skills in early childhood and to identify the factors that influence them. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted in an early childhood education setting. Data were obtained from three informants, namely parents and their 6-year-old children with speech delays. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that parental strategies for stimulating children's speaking skills include creating a pleasant communication environment, reading stories, singing together, role-playing, using visual media such as picture cards and posters, and repeating words to practice pronunciation. Singing and playing were found to be the most effective methods because children enjoyed them and they facilitated the acquisition of new vocabulary. Factors that hinder speech development include limited interaction time due to parents' busy schedules, excessive use of electronic devices, lack of communication with peers, the habit of using “baby talk,” the child's health condition, and hereditary factors. These findings confirm that consistent, varied stimulation tailored to children’s interests is crucial for speaking development during the Golden Age period. The study recommends collaboration between parents and early childhood education institutions in providing a language-rich environment and limiting the use of electronic devices.
