Abstract

This study aims to determine the concept, strategy of kiai leadership and obstacles in innovating education in pesantren. This research is a qualitative research case study. The research location chosen was at the Salafiyah Al-Ottoman Islamic Boarding School Beddian Jambesari Jambesari Darus Sholah Bondowoso, because it has a uniqueness compared to Islamic boarding schools in general, which is still maintaining traditional educational patterns reflected in the curriculum that teaches classical books. Data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis techniques use the process of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. This study found that the concept of kiai leadership in innovating education in pesantren is based on vertical communication (downward communication-upward communication), horizontal communication and diagonal communication (cross communication). Meanwhile, the strategies carried out by the kiai in innovating education are: opening an open junior high school, alleviating a 9-year compulsory education program for Salaf Islamic boarding schools and opening a formal madrasah. There are four obstacles inhibiting the leadership of the kiai, namely: at first the family council was less supportive with formal education; lack of support from Old Alumni of PPs Al-Utsmani Beddian, the lack of Human Resources and infrastructure owned is still inadequate.

Abstract

Tujuan dari artikel ini, pertama. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis program pembelajaran wasathiyah dalam menjaga nilai-nilai nasional organisasi primordial mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember oleh Jong Madura dan Ikatan Keluarga Mahasiswa Pergerakan Bondowoso, kedua. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis model pembelajaran wasathiyah dalam menjaga nilai-nilai nasional organisasi primordial mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember oleh Jong Madura dan Ikatan Keluarga Mahasiswa Pergerakan Bondowoso dan ketiga. Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pelaksanaan pembelajaran wasathiyah dalam menjaga nilai-nilai nasional organisasi primordial mahasiswa UIN Kiai Haji Achmad Siddiq Jember oleh Jong Madura dan Ikatan Keluarga Mahasiswa Pergerakan Bondowoso. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penentuan informan menggunakan sampling purposive dan teknik sampling bola salju. Adapun analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif Milles and Huberman. Kelanjutan teknik uji validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pembelajaran wasathiyah berdasarkan konsultasi kepada alumni dan diagendakan oleh internal kepengurusan. Model pembelajaran wasathiyah di sosialisasikan baik formal, informal dan nonformal. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran wasathiyah berjalan dengan baik dengan dibuktikan output/outcame kader.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Peran Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Al-Utsmani Bondowoso, khususnya peran pengadaan, rekrutmen tenaga kerja, seleksi tenaga kerja, pengembangan dan evaluasi karyawan dan memberikan kompensasi dan proteksi pada pegawai. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif, sedangkan Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan Kualitatif Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknis analisis data menggunakan Triangulasi Sumber dan Teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengadaan mengkalkulasi kekurangan tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Kedua, yakni mengelar sayembara penerimaan dosen tetap. Ketiga, mulai dari kelengkapan administrasi, tes wawancara dan microtheaching lalu penetapan. Keempat, diikutkan seminar, workshop, komperensi, rapat dan studi lanjut. Kelima, pemberian kompensasi yang bersifat non finansial dan finansial.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tipe kepemimpinan transformasional perempuan dalam mengembangkan perguruan tinggi di STAI Al-Utsmani Beddian Bondowoso, khususnya dimensi Idealized Influence (Charisma), Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation dan Individualized Consideration. Metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif, sedangkan Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan Kualitatif Deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknis analisis data menggunakan collection, data display, data condensation dan data verifiying. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, kepemimpinan yang penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif dan produktif. Kedua, tugas dan kewajiban yang sedang dijalani dan kendala yang dihadapi bawahan sekaligus memberikan motivasi dan arahan untuk meningkatkan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan dan mengatasi hambatan. Ketiga, setiap divisi melakukan transformasi dengan memunculkan program-program baru yang dinilai dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi secara efektif dan efisien dan implementatif. Keempat, memberikan perhatian khusus kepada kebutuhan dan kepentingan setiap dosen, staff serta mahasiswa, memfasilitasi pertumbuhan dan pengembangan mereka dan menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, nyaman, inklusif dan mendukung.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the concept of mail management and archive management at SMAI Pujer Bondowoso. The method used by researchers is a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and documentation. While data management and data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the study showed that the management of correspondence at SMAI Pujer Bondowoso was quite good starting from; first, preparing human resources (HR); secondly, the receipt of incoming mail centrally; and third, outgoing mail management using expedition books. Meanwhile, archive management by sorting personnel data and then digitizing all school documents so that archives are better and more organized.

Abstract

This study examines the role of religious celebrations and local wisdom in fostering community solidarity and cultural preservation in Indonesia. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of religious traditions and rituals, which not only serve as a means of spiritual reflection but also as an important component in strengthening social bonds in society. The purpose of this study is to analyze how religious practices, such as Eid al-Fitr and the Prophet's Birthday, contribute to strengthening local wisdom values, including mutual cooperation, social concern, and respect for the environment. This research uses a qualitative approach, focusing on community-based traditions, interviews, and participant observations to capture the cultural dynamics surrounding these celebrations. The results revealed that these religious events are not only an expression of faith but also play a key role in promoting social cohesion through collective activities such as sharing food, praying together, and exchanging support. These practices encourage the transmission of intergenerational values such as humility, cooperation, and empathy. In conclusion, this study highlights the deep relationship between religious celebrations and local wisdom, which suggests that these traditions are important for maintaining social harmony and cultural identity in contemporary Indonesian society. These findings also emphasize the importance of preserving these traditions as a way to strengthen spiritual and societal ties in the midst of globalization and modernization.

Abstract

Education has a strategic role as the main pillar in national and regional development. This article aims to evaluate the direction and implementation of education policy in Bondowoso Regency within the framework of equitable national development. With a qualitative approach and descriptive-analytical methods, this study analyzes national and local policy documents as well as the scientific literature related to public policy and social justice in education. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of education policies in Bondowoso still faces various challenges, such as inequality between public and private schools, low regional institutional capacity, and central policies that tend to be unresponsive to the local context. Private schools, especially those based on community and religion, have not received proportionate funding despite having an important role in expanding access to education. Therefore, it is necessary to reformulate education policies based on local needs, strengthen the capacity of local governments and multi-sector collaboration to encourage inclusive, equitable and quality education as a pillar of sustainable regional development.

Abstract

The Ramadan Islamic Boarding School Program is an annual program held at SMP Negeri 2 Pakem Bondowoso as a means to deepen basic Islamic knowledge for students. This article aims to explore the results and understanding of the Pesrom Program in improving students' understanding of how to prevent violence in schools. The research method used is a method to introduce sensitivity knowledge and skills to students that allows them to jump directly into a diverse cultural group. This method is divided into five stages, namely the preparation stage, the action stage, the reflection stage, the evaluation stage, and the celebration stage. The results of the study show that (1). Religious, including increasing students' understanding of religious teachings, students' consistency in carrying out compulsory worship. And the active participation of students in religious activities. (2). Social, including the development of students' social skills, building a sense of togetherness and solidarity, establishing a more harmonious relationship between students, teachers and school staff. (3). Education, including the ability of students to apply Islamic values in daily life.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendidikan karakter dalam mencegah bullying di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Miftahul Ulum Pancoran Bondowoso. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dari siswa, guru, kepala madrasah, dan orang tua yang terlibat dalam program pendidikan karakter. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan, seperti lingkungan madrasah yang nyaman melalui konsep "peaceful school", penerapan budaya religius, integrasi nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran, dan sosialisasi dampak bullying, terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying. Kolaborasi antara guru dan orang tua juga memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung perkembangan sosial dan emosional siswa. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menyarankan bahwa penerapan pendidikan karakter secara komprehensif dapat menciptakan lingkungan madrasah yang aman dan mendukung, serta membentuk siswa dengan karakter yang lebih baik.
