Abstract

The essence of Jibril's method is talqin-taqlid (imitation), namely students imitate the teacher's reading where the teacher's position of information is as a learning resource or provider in the learning process. The aims of this method are (1) To determine the ability to read the Al-Quran of Al-Hidayah Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA) students; (2) Knowing the application of the Gabriel method; (3) Knowing the supporting factors of the Gabriel method; (4) Knowing the factors inhibiting the Gabriel method; (5) Knowing the solution to overcome the factors inhibiting the Gabriel method. In this service, researchers use the Jibril method to teach fluency in the pronunciation of the letters of the Koran. The results obtained from using the Jibril method are that children can pronounce letters correctly according to existing regulations. Some children also feel satisfied with this method, because it makes it easier for children to recognize letters and how to read them

Abstract

This research explores the concept of democracy in education from a theoretical perspective and Islamic views. Educational democracy includes active participation of all parties in the educational process, critical development, and respect for diversity. In Islam, education plays a role in forming the character of individuals who have noble character and broad knowledge. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature study. The research results show that democracy in education is in harmony with Islamic values ​​which prioritize justice, equality and social responsibility.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran supervisi dalam meningkatkan kualitas manajemen pendidikan Islam di sekolah. Dalam konteks pendidikan Islam, supervisi bukan hanya sebuah proses administratif, tetapi juga sebuah instrumen strategis yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan pendidikan di sekolah-sekolah Islam. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah bahwa supervisi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kualitas manajemen pendidikan Islam, yang pada gilirannya akan memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan hasil pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka (library research), dengan mengkaji berbagai literatur terkait supervisi pendidikan, manajemen pendidikan Islam, serta implementasi supervisi dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan praktik supervisi yang lebih baik di sekolah-sekolah Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

LEMBAYU SUTRA, Student ID 24861022, Management of Extracurricular Programs in Strengthening the Islamic Student Profile at SMKIT Khoiru Ummah. Master's Thesis. Curup: Graduate Program, State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Curup, Master's Program in Islamic Education Management, 2026. Extracurricular programs play a strategic role in shaping students' character; however, their effectiveness depends on systematic management integrated with Islamic values. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the management of extracurricular programs in strengthening the Islamic Student Profile at SMKIT Khoiru Ummah. The study focused on planning, organizing, implementation, supervision, and the contribution of extracurricular program management to strengthening the Islamic Student Profile. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal for student affairs, extracurricular supervisors, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source, technique, and time triangulation. The findings revealed that the management of extracurricular programs had been implemented systematically based management functions: planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. Planning was conducted through annual work meetings and students' needs assessments. Organizing was carried out through a clear division of duties and responsibilities. The implementation of extracurricular activities followed the established schedule and integrated Islamic values into various activities. Supervision was conducted regularly through monitoring and evaluation as the basis for continuous program improvement. The management of extracurricular programs contributed significantly to strengthening the Islamic Student Profile, as reflected in the improvement of students' discipline, responsibility, religiosity, leadership, independence, and social awareness. This study concludes that systematic and sustainable management of extracurricular programs plays an essential role in strengthening the Islamic Student Profile.
