Abstract

This rental office building is designed to be built on Road Ahmad Yani, Pontianak City. Thei buildingi structure is designed usingi the Speciali Moment Resistant Framei Structure systemi (SPRMK) based on SNIi 03-2487-2013 (Requirementsi for Structurali Concretei fori Buildings). Analysis ofi earthquakei loads usingi the spectrum design methodi based on SNIi 1726-2019i (Earthquakei Resistance Planningi Proceduresi for Buildingi and Non-Buildingi Structures) for the locationi of earthquake accelerationi using the cityi ofi Tarakan. iPPPURG 2847-1989 (Guidelines for Loading Planning for Houses and Buildings) and PPPURG 1987 (Guidelines for Loading Planning for Housesi and Buildings) fori loading. In thei analysis, thei loading systemi that will be imposedi on the building isi a vertical loadingi systemi in the formi of dead andi livei loads and horizontal loads in thei form ofi earthquakei loads and structurali analysisi assistedi by computeri programmers. From the structurali analysis, it can be concludedi that the dimensionsi of the crossi section andi reinforcementi are obtained.

Abstract

SMKN 4 SPP Singkawang is one of the vocational schools that provides education with a focus on agriculture and agribusiness. The purpose of providing education at this school is to produce graduates who are skilled in agriculture. One of the important skills to have in agriculture is topographic surveying. For this reason, students at school are expected to have these skills. These skills can later be used to support various activities in agriculture, such as irrigation planning and determining plant types based on topographic conditions. Topographic surveys can be carried out effectively and efficiently using optical tools such as auto levels. Based on this, Community Service (PKM) activities in the form of auto level training were carried out by students at SMKN 4 SPP Singkawang. The purpose of this training is for students to be able to use auto levels in mapping land contours for agricultural and agribusiness purposes. The training began by providing an explanation of the optical tools that would be used for the survey. The next stage is for students to practice using the optical tools accompanied by the Community Service (PKM) team. The result of this training is that students are able to understand and practice measuring land contours using auto levels. Finally, this training is expected to improve the skills of students of SMKN 4 SPP Singkawang, which will later be able to support various activities in the fields of agriculture and agribusiness, such as irrigation planning, determining plant types, and so on.

Abstract

The planning of rental office buildings in Pontianak City is an effort to minimize horizontal land use and prevent new issues, such as land crises. The structural planning carried out certainly needs to pay attention to several aspects, one of which is the influence of earthquakes. Essentially, earthquakes tend to impact structures at their joints; thus, reinforced concrete structures are designed using a moment-resisting frame system with a strong column-weak beam concept, combined with shear walls, referred to as a dual system. This design allows the structure to mitigate earthquake vibrations. The 7-story rental office building is located on Jl. Jendral Ahmad Yani, Bansir Laut, Kec. Pontianak Tenggara, Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province. The earthquake load was planned to use the 2019 Indonesia Earthquake Map and the response spectrum method in accordance with SNI 1726-2019. Load calculations followed SNI 1727-2020, while the design of reinforced concrete structures for building construction complied with SNI 2847-2019. The analysis of the requirements and stability of the structure against the earthquake load by the spectrum response method has met the requirements and stability as an earthquake-resistant structure with a dual system. The maximum inter-level deviation that occurred was 8.411 mm for the x direction and 4.815 mm for the y direction.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School Hidayatul Muslimin 1 is situated in West Kalimantan Province. This school features 19 classrooms constructed from basic wooden structures. The educational facilities available at this school, including tables, chairs, blackboards, and shoe racks, were insufficient to facilitate effective learning; some students even had to sit on the floor due to the lack of teaching and learning facilities. In addition, the classroom walls look dull because the paint has faded, so they display the original color of the wood that is the material of the classroom walls. This Community Service initiative aims to create learning facilities that will not only foster a comfortable learning environment for students but also enhance the practical skills of Civil Engineering students in woodworking applications. The Community Service team and Civil Engineering students who practiced woodworking at the Civil Engineering Department Workshop at Pontianak State Polytechnic executed the project to create these educational facilities. The learning facilities created for Hidayatul Muslimin 1 Islamic Boarding School in West Kalimantan include 20 tables, 40 chairs, two whiteboards, and four shoe racks. Additionally, with the support of Civil Engineering students, several teachers, and students from the Islamic boarding school, the Community Service team renovated and painted two classrooms.

Abstract

Rapid developments in the construction era are shown by using the latest technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness in project implementation. One of the technologies widely used by construction experts today is Building Information Modeling (BIM). Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a digital-based concept that integrates 3D modeling and stores important information in the design, construction, and maintenance processes. Given the high demand for workers who are competent in BIM, there is a necessity for coaching or training on BIM applications to ensure that the developed workforce can fulfill the job market requirements. The purpose of this Community Service was to train students of SMK N 8 Pontianak with a concentration of expertise in Building Information and Modeling Design so that these students can better understand the concept of BIM. This training used AutoCAD and SketchUp software as tools for basic levels from 2D to 3D. The training results indicated that 74.18% of students at SMKN 8 Pontianak comprehended the concept of BIM, which they were previously unaware of, compared to a 28.64% percentage prior to the training. In addition, the ability of SMKN 8 Pontianak students to apply AutoCAD and SketchUp software has increased, as evidenced by the results of the images before and after the training. These results are anticipated to empower SMKN 8 Pontianak students to utilize their skills proficiently in the job market.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan kaolin terhadap kuat tekan beton ketika digunakan menjadi bahan substitusi sebagian agregat halus, untuk mengetahui model hubungan antara kuat tekan beton dengan campuran kaolin sebagai bahan substitusi sebagian agregat halus (pasir) dan untuk mengetahui komposisi campuran kaolin yang paling optimal untuk kekuatan tekan beton. Percobaan kualitatif yang dilakukan pada struktur material beton menggunakan kaolin sebagai pengganti agregat halus adalah subjek penelitian ini. Beton direncanakan memiliki kualitas K-250, sesuai dengan standar kualitas beton yang digunakan pada bangunan tempat tinggal (1 hingga 2 lantai). Campuran kaolin yang digunakan adalah dengan persentase 0%, 25% dan 50% dari berat pasir sesuai job mix formula. Setelah 28 hari, kuat tekan sampel diuji di laboratorium. Dari tes, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kuat tekan pada beton normal tanpa campuran kaolin adalah 368,8 kg/cm2, pada beton dengan campuran kaolin 25% adalah 239,76 kg/cm2, dan pada beton dengan campuran kaolin 50% adalah 159,41 kg/cm2, ini menunjukkan bahwa kaolin tidak cocok digunakan sebagai bahan campuran beton untuk pengganti sebagian aggregat halus. Persentase optimal kaolin yang digunakan sebagai pengganti agregat halus adalah dengan persentase campuran 0%.

Abstract

Building planning is very influential because it will produce a building that meets the requirements of being sturdy, economical and aesthetic in order to avoid building damage. Construction management is a very appropriate solution for planning cost, quality, time, and Human Resources (HR) as well as Occupational Safety and Health (K3) requirements. In management planning for a 5-storey shop building in Pontianak City, an analysis of the working drawings used as the object of management planning is carried out. So that job descriptions are obtained from working drawings to analyze cost management, quality management, time management by making a Time Schedule and S Curve, human resource management, and occupational health safety. In writing this Final Project the writer uses data sources in the form of primary data and secondary data. Based on the processed data, the final results include a Budget Plan (RAB) of Rp. 2,585,448,000, the duration of the work was 24 weeks or 144 days, the project quality management made a quality checklist recapitulation in accordance with the standards, Human Resources (HR) obtained the results of the highest number of workers in the floor plate reinforcement work as many as 41 workers. Occupational Safety and Health (K3) obtained the results of risk control and the need for personal protective equipment that is in accordance with standards and requirements.
