Abstract

This article aimed to analyze Shi'a da'wah in Karang Gayam and Blu'uran-Sampang-Madura Villages using the theory of religious moderation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. This research was important because what is produced from Shi'a da'wah is one of the black records of religious life in Indonesia. The researcher used a qualitative method that is a case study, data was obtained through interviews, then analyzed thematically such as John W. Creswell's steps, while the validity of the data used triangulation of sources. The findings of this study revealed that there are several principles that were neglected in Shi'a da'wah in Karang Gayam and Blu'uran-Sampang Villages, Madura, namely ignoring the principles of justice and balance, the principles of amar makruf and nahi mungkar, the principle of comfort in religion and the principle of graduality. When this principle was disregarded, it is not surprising that da'wah efforts led to conflicts between Sunni communities that are rooted first and Shia groups as immigrant teachings. This research can be a reference material for da'wah practitioners in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan psikologi spiritual dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan berdasarkan perspektif al-Qur’an. Pendekatan ini dipandang sebagai respons terhadap keterbatasan psikologi material yang selama ini lebih menekankan pemenuhan kebutuhan fisik, insentif, dan aspek organisasi, namun belum mampu menyentuh dimensi batin dan kesehatan spiritual karyawan. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan teknik penafsiran tematik, penelitian ini menelusuri ayat-ayat al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan penguatan jiwa dan peningkatan etos kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa al-Qur’an menekankan pengasahan ego spiritual (al-nafs al-rūḥiyyah), pembentukan kedamaian batin (al-nafs al-muṭma’innah), kesehatan mental (qalbun salīm), dan terapi kognitif spiritual (tazkiyatun nafs). Selain itu, al-Qur’an juga memberikan pedoman strategis untuk meningkatkan kinerja melalui keterampilan (al-‘amal), kebajikan sosial (iḥsān), kekuatan intrinsik (quwwah), ketekunan (itqān), efektivitas kerja (al-sa’yu), kreativitas produktif (al-kasb), dan solidaritas kolektif (mu‘āwanah). Temuan penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan psikologi spiritual menawarkan solusi holistik terhadap problem kinerja, dibandingkan teori-teori Barat seperti Taylor dan Maslow. Dengan demikian, nilai-nilai Qur’ani dapat menjadi paradigma alternatif yang relevan dalam membangun sumber daya manusia yang kompeten, sehat secara spiritual, dan produktif di lingkungan kerja modern.

Abstract

This study aims to determine fraud prevention strategies with a risk management approach from the perspective of the Quran. The methodology in this research is a literature study with a qualitative approach to the analysis of deductive and inductive processes. Primary data sources consist of verses of the Quran which are used as references with explanations from several commentators, and secondary data sources consist of relevant previous scientific research works. The Al-Quran interpretation method used for analysis is the al-maudhu'i interpretation method. Fraud is an act of crime and according to sharia, there must be prevention efforts according to ability. Organizational activities always contain uncertainty which is synonymous with risk, including the risk of fraud. Management has the responsibility to manage the risks that will be faced. Risk management and internal control contribute to the implementation of good governance, with the implementation of an adequate risk management and internal control system. Several verses of the Quran and hadith can be used to implement the principles of good governance: transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness. Several risk management principles are: integrated, structured and comprehensive, tailored to user needs, inclusive, dynamic, best available information, cultural and human factors, and continuous improvement. Regarding the application of the principles of fraud prevention, verses in the Al-Quran have a perspective that is not limited to textual and contextual, but also a broader and comprehensive perspective materially and immaterially.

Abstract

Buku Tasawuf Kebinekaan di Nusantara karya Prof. Dr. H. Syamsun Ni’am, M.Ag yang direview dalam naskah ini menawarkan perspektif baru mengenai hubungan tasawuf dengan kebinekaan, keberagamaan, dan kebangsaan di Indonesia. Melalui kajian historis-sosiologis, penulis buku menelusuri pemikiran dan praktik para tokoh sufi Nusantara, mulai dari Walisongo, KH. Hasyim Asy’ari, KH. Achmad Siddiq, hingga KH. Abdurrahman Wahid. Mereka menampilkan tasawuf bukan sekadar laku individual, melainkan energi sosial yang melahirkan toleransi, moderasi, dan cinta tanah air. Buku ini menegaskan bahwa nilai-nilai tasawuf sejalan dengan prinsip Pancasila dan Bhinneka Tunggal Ika, sehingga mampu menjadi basis epistemologis bagi nation-building di tengah ancaman radikalisme, polarisasi identitas, dan krisis kebangsaan. Keistimewaan karya ini terletak pada keberhasilannya mengaitkan ajaran klasik sufistik dengan konteks kontemporer Indonesia, sekaligus memperlihatkan bahwa pluralisme tidak hanya wacana, tetapi praksis nyata dalam kehidupan berbangsa. Dengan analisis yang mendalam dan sistematis, buku ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi studi tasawuf, ilmu sosial keagamaan, dan diskursus pluralisme, serta relevan sebagai referensi akademis maupun praktis dalam merawat harmoni kebangsaan di era modern.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has intensified learning loss in Indonesian education, not only in terms of academic achievement but also in students’ psychosocial development and character formation. While existing studies have predominantly conceptualized learning loss as a cognitive and instructional problem, limited attention has been given to its ethical, spiritual, and value-based dimensions within post-pandemic educational discourse. This article addresses this conceptual gap by examining how learning loss is discussed in the literature and how character education grounded in national and religious values may be theoretically integrated into this discussion. Employing a conceptual literature review, this study analyzes peer-reviewed journal articles, academic books, policy-related educational literature, and selected Qur’anic exegesis relevant to learning loss, character education, and humanistic learning in the Indonesian context. The analysis is conducted through a thematic and conceptual synthesis, focusing on patterns of thought, normative assumptions, and theoretical linkages across the literature. The findings reveal three interrelated conceptual themes: (1) the reconceptualization of learning loss as a multidimensional phenomenon encompassing academic, psychosocial, and moral dimensions; (2) the role of the Pancasila Student Profile as a normative framework for character education in post-pandemic Indonesia; and (3) the convergence between Qur’anic humanistic values and national character education in shaping holistic educational aims. Based on this synthesis, the article proposes an integrative conceptual framework that situates learning loss within a broader discourse of humanistic and value-based education. Rather than offering empirical solutions, this study contributes theoretically by refining the conceptual understanding of learning loss and highlighting directions for future research on character education and spiritually grounded pedagogical frameworks in post-pandemic contexts.

Abstract

Leadership represents a critical determinant of entrepreneurial success and organizational sustainability, particularly within small and medium enterprises where ethical guidance directly influences stakeholder outcomes. This study analyzes the integration of Prophet Muhammad's leadership values within transformational and servant leadership models through systematic thematic Quranic exegesis. Employing qualitative descriptive methodology with tafsir maudhu'i approach, the research examines four key Quranic verses (Al-Imran 3:159, Al-Anbiya 21:107, Al-Furqan 25:63, and Al-Ma'idah 5:8) that articulate principles of consultative decision-making, visionary inspiration, humble conduct, and equitable justice. Findings reveal that prophetic leadership encompasses both transformational dimensions (idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration) and servant leadership characteristics (humility, empowerment, ethical behavior, and stewardship) within a unified theological framework. The analysis demonstrates that Quranic leadership principles challenge the artificial dichotomy between transformational vision-setting and servant stakeholder orientation prevalent in Western management scholarship, instead presenting an integrated paradigm termed "Quranic Leadership" that synthesizes change-oriented inspiration with humble ethical service. This framework offers Muslim entrepreneurs scripturally validated guidance for implementing evidence-based leadership practices while maintaining religious authenticity, contributing to faith-integrated entrepreneurship literature and providing practical implications for business educators, organizational leaders, and policymakers seeking culturally relevant approaches to ethical entrepreneurship and sustainable business development.

Abstract

Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter kepemimpinan dalam perspektif Al-Qur’an dapat dikembangkan melalui metode profetik yang berakar pada keteladanan dan nilai-nilai pendidikan Nabi Muhammad Saw. Metode profetik tersebut menekankan integrasi dimensi spiritual, moral, dan praksis dalam pembentukan karakter kepemimpinan, khususnya nilai kejujuran (shiddīq), amanah, kemampuan komunikasi (tablīgh), dan kecerdasan (fathānah). Penerapan metode ini terbukti efektif dalam melahirkan pemimpin Islami yang berpegang pada ajaran Islam, mampu menjadi teladan, bertanggung jawab dalam menjalankan amanah kepemimpinan, bersikap adil, serta memiliki kepedulian terhadap kesejahteraan pengikutnya. Temuan penting lainnya mengungkap keberhasilan Nabi Muhammad Saw sebagai figur pemimpin paling berpengaruh sekaligus pendidik yang berhasil mencetak generasi sahabat dengan karakter kepemimpinan unggul. Kesimpulan tersebut diperoleh melalui kajian mendalam terhadap ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an yang mengandung isyarat metode profetik dan pendidikan karakter kepemimpinan, yang dianalisis secara komprehensif menggunakan pendekatan tafsir tematik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengkaji pola interaksi dan strategi pendidikan Nabi Muhammad Saw dalam membina para sahabat yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter dan pengembangan kapasitas kepemimpinan mereka. Secara teoretis, penelitian ini sejalan dengan pandangan Warren Bennis yang menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan merupakan hasil proses pendidikan, serta sejalan dengan pemikiran Muhammad Akrom Al-‘Adlūni dan Ronny Siagian yang menyatakan bahwa karakter kepemimpinan dapat ditanamkan dan dikembangkan melalui proses pembelajaran yang berkelanjutan. Namun demikian, temuan penelitian ini berbeda dengan pandangan Thomas Carlyle dan William James yang menganggap kepemimpinan sebagai sifat bawaan sejak lahir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis studi kepustakaan dengan tahapan analisis deskriptif, analisis isi, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Metode penafsiran yang digunakan adalah tafsir tematik (maudhū‘ī) dengan pendekatan historis terhadap kehidupan dan kepemimpinan Nabi Muhammad Saw.
