Abstract

Background: Adolescence is one of the most critical periods in the human life cycle, so a teenage reproductive health service center is needed to provide guidance and health services. Access and acceptability of adolescents in adolescent reproductive health services is lacking. The problem faced by Kupang City Health Office is the program of health care for adolescents (PKPR) is not maximally run in the health center and is still socialized in schools working area of Public Health Center but not all schools, so access teenager to reproductive health problem is still low. Objective: To know the relation of access and acceptability of health service to utilization of reproductive health service of adolescent at Kupang City Health Center. Research Method: Cross-sectional design with quantitative and qualitative approach. Qualitative data were collected by in-depth interview technique. Sampling with simple random sampling. The subject is 110 high school students in the community health centers that have opened adolescent reproductive health service centers. Results: The proportion of adolescent reproductive health service utilization was 26.4%. Bivariable analysis showed a significant relationship between health service access with the utilization of adolescent reproductive health service with p-value <0,05, RP value 20,67 in 95% CI between 4.59-92,99 mean adolescent that utilize reproduction health service Has a 20.67 times greater likelihood in adolescents whose access to health care is easier than in adolescents whose access to health care is difficult. Descriptively, most teenagers need service (85.5%), and have positive attitude (82,7%) and have expectation of reproductive health service at Public Health Center (72,7%). Conclusions: The prevalence of adolescents utilizing reproductive health services is greater in adolescents with access to health care easier than in adolescents whose access to health care is difficult. Acceptability of health services also affects adolescents to utilize reproductive health services.

Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women in Indonesia. Early detection through Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) screening is effective in reducing morbidity and mortality rates, but screening coverage remains low due to a lack of knowledge and motivation among women of childbearing age (WCA). Objective: To analyze the effect of video-based education on improving knowledge, motivation, and IVA screening coverage among WUS at the Rukun Lima Community Health Center. Method: This study is a community nursing service innovation project with a pre-experimental design using a pretest–posttest approach. There were 25 WUS subjects in this study. The intervention was health education using 5–7 minute videos. Measurements were taken using knowledge questionnaires and records of the number of IVA examinations. Results: The average knowledge of WUS increased from 60% to 88%. A total of 84% of respondents stated that they were motivated to undergo IVA examinations. The number of IVA examination visits increased by 85% after the intervention. Conclusion: Education using video media effectively increases knowledge, motivation, and coverage of IVA screening among WUS. Video media can be used as an innovation in health promotion in primary health care.

Abstract

Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) merupakan pilar penting dalam menekan angka kelahiran dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan keluarga, namun mitos dan kurangnya informasi masih menjadi hambatan besar di wilayah Nusa Tenggara Timur. Program Keluarga Berencana (KB) juga dihadapkan pada tantangan miskonsepsi dan rendahnya partisipasi, khususnya dalam penggunaan Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP). Di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), meskipun angka partisipasi KB cukup baik, namun didominasi oleh metode jangka pendek yang berisiko drop out tinggi. Puskesmas Kotaratu, Kabupaten Ende, mencatat capaian akseptor KB aktif sebesar 54,40% dari total Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS). Tujuan: Proyek inovasi Keperwatan “Kampanye Digital Cinta Kasih Berencana” ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan Pasangan Usia Subur (PUS) mengenai kontrasepsi melalui kampanye digital "Cinta Kasih Berencana". Metode : yang digunakan adalah pengembangan konten edukasi audio-visual yang disebarkan melalui platform media sosial Youtube https://youtu.be/0ONR82cQ9x4?si=5rJzc_zDS0FODfVq. Hasil : dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan dari 72% menjadi 98%, atau naik sebesar 26%, Perubahan Sikap dan Motivasi sebnayak 76% peserta menyatakan termotivasi untuk mengikuti KB, Peningkatan Cakupan Akseptor KB yaitu 6 orang WUS tercatat mendaftar dan melakukan pemasangan kontasepsi jenis imolant seminggu setelah kampanye digital. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital mampu menjangkau khalayak yang lebih luas, memberikan akses informasi yang mudah dipahami, serta menjadi jembatan untuk mengklarifikasi mitos-mitos terkait KB yang di Disimpulkan bahwa inovasi edukasi digital sangat efektif dalam mendukung
