Abstract

Predicting lung disease recurrence from longitudinal clinical data remains challenging because irregular temporal patterns and heterogeneous patient characteristics reduce the effectiveness of conventional deep learning models. This study analyzes a hybrid Deep Neural Network (DNN)–Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (BiLSTM) framework for the longitudinal prediction of lung disease recurrence using clinical data collected between 2021 and 2024 from a referral hospital in Gorontalo. The dataset includes demographic information, laboratory examination results, clinical diagnoses, and longitudinal medical records. Lung disease recurrence is defined as the reappearance or worsening of the disease during longitudinal clinical follow-up after the initial diagnosis or treatment. The proposed framework combines DNN to learn complex nonlinear relationships among multivariate clinical features and BiLSTM to capture temporal dependencies across sequential patient observations. Model performance was evaluated using Accuracy, Precision, Recall, F1-score, and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), and compared with standalone DNN and BiLSTM models. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed hybrid framework consistently outperformed the individual models, achieving an improvement of approximately 7–10% across the evaluation metrics while providing more stable longitudinal prediction performance. Furthermore, multivariate analysis identified dominant clinical variables associated with lung disease recurrence, improving the interpretability of prediction results for clinical decision-making. These findings indicate that the proposed framework provides an effective computational approach for longitudinal clinical prediction and supports the development of intelligent clinical decision support systems for recurrence risk assessment

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to design and develop a web-based cooperative management information system that can simplify administrative processes, particularly in loan applications and installment payments. The system is built using the Agile method, which allows development to be carried out in stages and adapts flexibly to user needs. The main features developed include loan data management, payment recording, member data management, and the automatic presentation of financial reports. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of cooperative management and provide quick and transparent access to information for members. Testing is carried out using white-box and black-box methods to ensure that the system functions properly both in terms of internal logic and external appearance and functionality. The results of the testing show that all features work as expected and support the overall operations of the cooperative. This system is expected to be a practical and effective digital solution for cooperative management. Furthermore, this system can be further developed in line with the future growth needs of the cooperative. Keywords: Information System; Cooperative; Website. Abstract

One of the main challenges in managing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) in Talaga Jaya District is the absence of an integrated information system capable of presenting the geographical distribution of UMKM locations. As a result, the public experiences difficulties in obtaining accurate and up-to-date information regarding business locations, business categories, products, and UMKM profiles. In addition, the process of collecting and disseminating UMKM data is still carried out conventionally, making it less effective in supporting business promotion, regional economic development, and decision-making. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) for mapping UMKM locations that is capable of presenting both spatial and non-spatial information interactively and can be easily accessed by the public and local government. The software development process adopts the Waterfall methodology, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature review to identify system requirements, while Black-box Testing was employed to verify that all system functions operated according to user requirements. The results indicate that the developed GIS successfully displays the distribution of UMKM locations on an interactive digital map, manages UMKM data centrally, facilitates the retrieval of business information based on location and business category, and improves the effectiveness of information dissemination. The system is expected to serve as a digital promotional medium while supporting the management, development, and empowerment of UMKM in Talaga Jaya District.
