Abstract

AbstractLanguage plays an critical part in human life. Humans use language in interrelated sentences. This connection can be seen in the first, second, and so on. In this manner, conjunctions is regularly utilized in communication. The research method used is descriptive with the form of qualitative research. The data source of this research in the Mata Najwa Talk Show episode of the reform exam section 1—7 and the data is the utterances (compound sentences equivalent to coordinate sentences) delivered by the speakers and presenters in the form of Mata Najwa Talk Show video as a data collection tool. The data analysis technique used in this study were transcription, reduction, classification, analysis, description, and conclusion. Based on the data analysis there were 394 data on the types of coordinate conjunctions (addition, selection, contradiction, correction, affirmation, limitation, sorting, equating, and inference) and 22 errors in the use of coordinate conjunctions. This study provides fantasy story texts and on implementation plan for learning Indonesian in the 2013 curriculum for grade VII semester 1.Keywords: Conjunction, Coordinate Conjunctions, Mata Najwa Talk Show

Abstract

AbstractThe background in this study is the function and moral value in the story of the origin of villages at the registered Kadriah Palace Pontianak. The study was intended to examine the function and describe the moral values. The description related due to the implementation in the school. The method used in this study is descriptive method of qualitative research. The source of the data in this study is the story of the origin of villages at the registered Kadriah Palace Pontianak which has four moral values namely (1) relationship between human and God, (2) relationship between human with personal self, (3) relationship between human beings, and (4) relationship between human and nature. The tool of data collection is the researcher himself as the key instrument. The result in this study can be implemented in school in the Indonesian language and literature subject at SMA/MA/SMK grade X (ten) in the odd semester.Keywords: Function, moral, the story of the origin of villages, Istana Kadriah, Pontianak City.

Abstract

AbstractThis research deals with the field of morphology, especially regarding pronouns in BDBL in Bengkayang Regency. This research was motivated by the ins and outs of word structure and the influence of changes in word structure on word classes and meaning of words in the Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language. This research used descriptive linguistic method with a qualitative form. The data source in this research was Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language in Bengkayang Regency in the types of pronouns in Dayak Bidayuh language. The data collection technique used was the recording and note taking technique with data collection tools in the form of a list of types of pronouns in Indonesian, and then translated into the Dayak Bidayuh Lawang language. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that in BDBL there were six types of pronouns namely, personal pronouns, possessive, demonstrative, interrogative, relative, and in determinative. The forms of pronouns in BDBL consist of free forms and bound forms, and the functions of pronouns in BDBL in Bengkayang Regency generally occupy functions as subjects, objects, and predicates.Keywords: Pronouns in Dayak Bidayuh Lawang Language (BDBL) inBengkayang Regency

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the classification of naming, the meaning of naming, and produce a text structure of thematic description of the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura as a supplement for learning Indonesian Class VII based on the naming basis of the circle of the Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura, Benua Kayong District, Ketapang Regency. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the speech of informants who understand the naming of places in the vicinity of the Matan Tanjungpura royal palace, Benua Kayong District, Ketapang Regency. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, note-taking techniques, and recording techniques. Based on all the data that has been analyzed, there are naming bases that can be classified into seven, namely 2 place naming data based on geographical conditions, 6 place naming data based on plants, 2 place naming data based on function, 2 place naming data based on ethnicity, 5 place naming data based on names of people, 5 data for naming places based on stories, and 3 data for naming places based on buildings. The total number of data is 25 data. The meaning of naming consists of 4 types of meaning, namely lexical meaning there are 8 data, grammatical meaning is 9 data, referential meaning is 7 data, and associative meaning is 1 data. This research is related to the 2013 curriculum on Indonesian language subjects in SMP class VII odd semesters which are suggested to be reference material for learning activities at school.Keywords: Basis of naming, Meaning of naming, Royal Palace of Matan Tanjungpura

Abstract

AbstrackThis research aimed to know about the intrinsic structure of folklore, the physical structure of the spells, and the structure of the expression of the prohibition of people's beliefs. The method used in this research was descriptive method. The data source in this study was the people's prose stories, spells, and expressions of the prohibition of people's beliefs in the antar ajong tradition which are told from informants from Desa Tanah Hitam. Data collection techniques used were document study and interviews. The conclusion that folklore has a character that can’t be separated from the King, the plot used is the forward plot, the setting is a place, time, and social setting. The diction contained in the spell consisted of 28 lines. There are 16 lines of auditive images, 5 lines of visual images, and 2 lines of tactile images. The concrete word contained in the spell consisted of 6 lines, while there are 4 lines of metaphorical figure of speech and 1 personification of figure of speech. The expression of the prohibition of popular belief consists of 3 two-part structures and 2 three-part structures.  Keywords: antar ajong, folklore, structure, tradition.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research are the types, components, function of the speech acts used by the sellers and buyers at the Traditional Market in the independent integrated city of Rasau Jaya, Kubu Raya Regency and the Implementation Plan to the Indonesian Language Learning. The aim of this research in general is to describe the speech acts used by the sellers and buyers in transactions at the traditional market in the Independent Integrated City (KTM) of Rasau Jaya. The main purposes are to describe the types, components, functions of the speech acts, and the plans for implementing to the Indonesian language learning. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of this research is qualitative. The research data collection was carried out by using the observation technique. The observation data will be collected by using recording tools and notes. Data analysis used is the criteria to determine the form of speech acts. The sources of data in this study are the sellers and buyers at the Traditional Market in the Independent Integrated City.Keywords: The Speech Acts, Sellers, Buyers, The Market KTM.

AbstractVocabulary Pronunciation Skills in Reading Fable Texts by BIPA CLASS BINDO Students Level Al. Thesis. Department of Language and Arts Education. Indonesian Language Education Study Program. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Pontianak Tanjungpura University. The problem of this research is the pronunciation mistakes of vocabulary and the factors that influence the reading of fable texts by BIPA KELAS BINDO students level A1. The aim of the study in general was to describe the speech of vocabulary in reading fable texts by BIPA KELAS BINDO level A1 students. Its specific objective is to describe the inconvenience of vocabulary pronunciation and the factors that affect the pronunciation errors of vocabulary. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The form of this research is qualitative. The research data collection was carried out using the tes technique. Sources of data in this study were foreign speakers from three countries, namely Egypt, the Philippines, and the United States of America. Based on the research data, the conclusion is that BIPA KELAS BINDO level Al students have a reduction in phonemes, the addition of phonemes, and the replacement of phonemes, the factors that influence are the first language of each student. Then the output of this research can be in the form of a practical guide to teaching basic Indonesian for foreign studentsKeywords: BIPA, KELAS BINDO, level A1

Abstract

AbstrackThis study aims to classify the form of the lingual unit, describe its meaning and function, and produce a supplementary form of Indonesian language learning text based on the plant lexicon in the Pontianak Malay rhyme cognate. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The sources of data in this study are video documentation and the Pontianak Malay community who are located in Sungai Beliung Village, West Pontianak. Data collection techniques, namely, documentation techniques, interviews, notes, and records. The technique of testing the validity of the data is the persistence of observation and peer examination. This study contained 135 rhyme data based on the plant lexicon, then 90 lexicon of plant names and plant parts and 69 based on the lexicon of plant names. The form of the lingual unit contains 18 monomeric data, and 72 phrase data. In addition, there are 90 plant lexicon based on lexical meaning and 80 data on cultural meaning. The form of Indonesian language learning text b ased on the plant lexicon in the Pontianak Malay rhyme cognate produces descriptive text.Keywords: Lexicon, Plants, Pantun, Pontianak Malay

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to classify any lexicon, describe the form of the lexicon, and produce a form of supplementary Indonesian language learning text based on the lexicon of Pontianak Malay traditional wedding dress. The theory used is ecolinguistic theory. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the Pontianak Malay community, whose address is in the city of Pontianak. Data collection techniques are interview techniques, notes, records and documentation. This study resulted in 18 lexicon of Pontianak Malay traditional wedding dress. There are 4 types of lexicon groups, namely 7 lexicon in the form of traditional bridal attire, 11 lexicon in the form of traditional bridal clothing accessories, 7 lexicon in the form of traditional bridal clothing materials and 18 lexicon in the form of bridal traditional clothing how to use it. The forms of the lexicon are categorized based on the type, namely traditional bridal clothing, the material of which has 7 lexicon and traditional bridal clothing, how to use it, which has 18 lexicon. Each lexicon group is divided into 2 levels, namely the noun level there are 10 lexicon and the verb level 18 lexicon. In describing the traditional dress lexicon of the Pontianak Malay bride, using ecolinguistic parameters and the three dimensions of social praxis. The form of Indonesian language learning text based on the lexicon of Pontianak Malay traditional wedding dress produces descriptive text.Keywords: Ecolingistics, Lexion, Traditional Bridal Clothin

Abstract

AbstractCulinary has become one of the attractions of the Simpakng Dayak community,especially Simpang Hulu, current events, such as custom events. This study aimsto describe the form of terminology, lexical meanings, cultural meanings relatedto Simpakng Dayak culinary, and to implement them into the Procedure Textmaterial for Bahasa Indonesia subject grade VII Curriculum 2013. This study useda qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects are speakers of the DayakSimpakng language, Simpang Hulu District, District of Simpang Hulu, Ketapangregency, aged 20-65 years (not senile). Data collection techniques used arepancing, cakap, note-taking, and recording techniques. In data analysis, the datafrom the four techniques were transcribed, translated into Indonesian, classified,and taken into conclusions. Based on the analysis, there are 30 terms used in theSimpakng Dayak culinary. Fourteen terms relate to ingredients and spices, andtwelve terms relate to serving method. These terms are classified into three forms,namely monomorphemic, polymorphemic, and phrase. In the implementation ofteaching materials, these culinary terms are integrated into the procedural textmaterial in Bahasa Indonesia subject.Keywords: Terminology, Culinary, Dayak Simpakng
