Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of solvency ratio for four years starting from 2016-2019 and to find out whether there is a significant influence between the solvency ratio and rentability in PT. Kimia Farma, Tbk. PT. Kimia Farma, Tbk is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) engaged in the pharmaceutical industry. The data used in this study is the company's financial data in the form of financial position reports and profit/loss statements for four periods. The data analysis method used is the solvency ratio, the profitability ratio, and the comparison between the solvency ratio and the profitability ratio to find out if there is a significant influence between the two ratios. The results of this study show that the solvency ratio level from 2016-2019 is not good, this is because the results of the ratio calculation every year have increased. From the results of this study, it can also be seen that there is no significant influence between solvency ratio and profitability, this is because it is not debt that affects profitability but other factors such as operational costs and cost of goods sold

Abstract

The community service activity with the theme "Training on Making Crackers from Locan Shellfish" was carried out in October 2024 in Kampung Gamta, Misol Barat District, Raja Ampat Regency. The purpose of this activity is to develop the potential of marine resources, particularly locan shellfish, which has so far been used mainly as a supplementary food, by processing it into crackers made from locan shellfish. This training involved 17 participants and was conducted using a systematic approach with the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) method, which consists of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up stages. Through this training, it is hoped that the community will develop skills in producing crackers, create a local flagship product, and open new business opportunities that have the potential to increase household income in Kampung Gamta.

Abstract

Background: Occupational health and safety (OHS) programs are essential for ensuring the well-being of employees, particularly in sectors with high-risk environments such as the energy industry. Despite the existence of OHS programs, the effectiveness of these programs in enhancing employee productivity remains underexplored in certain regions. This research focuses on PT PLN UP3 Sorong, a state-owned company in Indonesia, to examine the impact of OHS on employee productivity. Research Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of OHS on employee work productivity at PT PLN UP3 Sorong. Research Method: This quantitative study employs a descriptive causal design to examine the relationship between OHS and work productivity. The data were collected from 35 employees of PT PLN UP3 Sorong through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS software. Results: The findings reveal that OHS has a significant and positive effect on employee productivity. The results indicate that improvements in OHS practices lead to an increase in work productivity among employees. The statistical analysis shows that the implementation of OHS is crucial in boosting employee performance, and the correlation between the variables is strong. Conclusion: The study concludes that OHS significantly contributes to enhancing employee productivity at PT PLN UP3 Sorong. The findings emphasize the importance of investing in OHS programs to improve employee well-being and organizational performance. Companies, especially state-owned enterprises, should prioritize these programs for sustained productivity.

Abstract

-This community service program aims to improve quantitative research competency of Management students through Partial Least Squares (PLS) training in writing theses. Using the PAR-ADDIE blended learning model, this program involved 120 participants with a real case study of PT. Ritel Indonesia Jaya. The results showed a significant increase: the post-test score increased by 35.8 points (from 42.5 to 78.3) with knowledge retention of 71.4% after 3 months. The implementation of PLS in 30 theses resulted in a convergent validity (AVE>0.6) of 92% and a composite reliability of 0.85. The economic impact is reflected in the ROI of 214%, which was obtained through: 18% increase in customer retention rate of industry partners (+Rp8.2 billion/year), Research cost savings of Rp1.3 billion, and Operational efficiency of Rp950 million. The formation of a community of practitioners (153 active members) and 28 new case studies in 4 months indicate an undesirable program. Key challenges include the adaptation of SmartPLS 4.2 technology and the need for hybrid data integration. The program demonstrates the effectiveness of triple helix collaboration in bridging academia-industry, while providing a replicable model for data-driven methodological capacity development in higher education

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of word of mouth and product quality on purchasing decisions at Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop, a case study in Medan City. The method used is quantitative. The population in this study is consumers of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop in Medan City, totaling 206 people. The sampling technique used is probability sampling, and the sample collection method uses the Slovin formula. The research sample consists of 135 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model Partial Least Square (PLS) technique. The results of the study indicate that the word-of-mouth variable has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with the path coefficient value showing a T-Statistic value of 4.595 with a P-Value of 0.000 and an original sample value of 0.402. Thus, the T-Statistic value is greater than the T-table (1.97). Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, with a T-Statistic value of 4.426 with a P-Value of 0.000 and an original sample value of 0.385. Thus, the T-Statistic value is greater than the T-table (1.97). The location of the business has an influence on purchasing decisions, therefore it is recommended that the owner of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop, in determining the location of the business, can pay attention to environmental factors around the business location such as the condition of the community around the business location, the comfort and safety of the business place, and easy access for buyers. The results showed that there are still other factors that can affect purchasing decisions besides word of mouth and product quality, therefore it is recommended that the owners of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop conduct a survey directly to buyers regarding the assessment of consumer satisfaction with word of mouth and product quality based on buyers' perceptions so that owners of Mawar Bakery & Cake Shop can make strategies to improve their business according to the characteristics of buyers who are their target market.

Abstract

Human capital development plays an essential role in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic systems, particularly in the digital era where competitiveness is increasingly driven by knowledge, skills, and innovation. Nevertheless, remote communities often face challenges such as limited access to education, financial services, and entrepreneurial opportunities, which restrict their integration into broader economic structures. This study examines the relationship between human capital development and financial inclusion, highlighting the mediating influence of the entrepreneurial mindset. The research targeted Papuan students at Universitas Cenderawasih who had completed entrepreneurship courses and gained hands-on learning experiences through activities such as entrepreneurship bazaars. Out of a total population of 220 students, 142 participants were chosen based on Slovin’s sampling formula. A quantitative approach was applied, collecting data through structured questionnaires and analyzing them with SmartPLS to explore both direct and indirect effects. The findings indicate that human capital development substantially enhances financial inclusion, while entrepreneurial mindset strengthens this relationship by acting as a mediator. These results highlight the critical need to integrate human capital development with financial inclusion initiatives to empower academic communities in remote areas. Moreover, the study provides practical recommendations for policymakers, educators, and financial institutions to formulate inclusive strategies tailored for emerging economies. Keywords: Human Capital Development; Financial Inclusion; Entrepreneurial Mindset; Remote Regions; Sustainable Development.
