Abstract

Effective communication has a crucial role in the realm of public relations. Communication effectiveness is realized when the message conveyed by the communicator is appropriate and identical to the message received by the communicant, without any reduction or addition of words that might give rise to wrong interpretations. In the context of public relations, effective communication has a major impact on the quality of relations between an organization and its public. A public relations practitioner's ability to communicate effectively has the potential to form a positive image of the organization. This article is the result of a literature review detailing aspects of communication and public relations, with the aim of realizing effective communication in the context of public relations. Effective communication strategies in public relations are directed at establishing positive relationships with the public as well as aspirations to create a positive view of the organization among the public. Therefore, it is important for a public relations practitioner to have superior communication skills.

Abstract

Di tengah masyarakat awam, bahasa inggris dan arab dipandang sebagai bahasa yang asing dan sulit dipelajari, hal tersebut dikarenakan kurangnya upaya pengenalan dan pembelajaran bahasa inggris dan bahasa arab tingkat dasar. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan dan memberikan pemahaman kepada anak-anak mengenai kosa kata dalam bahasa arab dan bahasa inggris, agar kiranya dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka secara sedikit demi sedikit mengenai bahasa asing. Kegiatan bimbingan ini menggunakan tiga metode, yaitu metode permainan seperti menghafal dengan cara mengingat nyanyian, diskusi santai serta tanya jawab berhadiah. Hasil dari kegiatan bimbingan kosakata tiga bahasa dengan tiga metode pembelajaran ini dapat dikatakan cukup efektif membantu anak-anak di Desa Simpang Warga dalam menambah pengetahuan dan pemahaman mereka serta meningkatkan kepercayaan diri mereka dalam menggunakan bahasa Arab dan Inggris. Hal ini terlihat ketika mereka mampu memperkenalkan diri dan mencoba menggunakan beberapa kosakata harian dengan percaya diri di depan teman-temannya.

Abstract

Perilaku amanah dan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga merupakan dua faktor krusial dalam meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Perilaku amanah mengacu pada kemampuan individu untuk menjaga kepercayaan dan rasa aman dalam organisasi, sementara keseimbangan kerja-keluarga berkaitan dengan kapasitas individu untuk mengalokasikan waktu dan energi antara tanggung jawab pekerjaan dan kewajiban keluarga. Dalam konteks organisasi, perilaku amanah dan keseimbangan kerja-keluarga dapat berdampak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan korelasional untuk mengkaji bagaimana kedua variabel ini memengaruhi kinerja karyawan di BPSDM Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai R Square sebesar 0,339, yang menunjukkan bahwa keseimbangan kerja-keluarga (X2) berkontribusi sebesar 33,9% terhadap varians kinerja karyawan (Y).

Abstract

This study examines the role of organizational communication in building effective work teams within modern organizational settings. The core issue addressed is that many organizations continue to experience miscommunication, limited coordination, and weak team cohesion, which hinder overall performance. The purpose of this study is to identify the key elements of organizational communication that contribute to team effectiveness, explain the mechanisms through which communication influences team outcomes, and describe the challenges and strategies for optimizing communication practices. This research employs a literature review method by analyzing relevant journal articles, books, and academic publications. The results indicate that effective communication implemented through vertical, horizontal, and diagonal channels plays a crucial role in enhancing coordination, fostering trust, and strengthening collaboration among team members. Furthermore, clear and open communication improves productivity, reduces misunderstandings, and supports shared understanding within the team. The study also highlights that communication serves not only as a tool for transmitting information but also as a strategic component that shapes team dynamics and long-term performance. Overall, the findings emphasize the need for organizations to systematically manage communication practices in order to develop and maintain effective work teams.
