Abstract

This research aimed to determine the effect of organizational support on employee work commitment. The research method used was a quantitative method with correlational descriptive techniques. The research population consisted of 89 civil servants at the Institut Seni Indonesia Padang Panjang. The research sample consisted of 81 people who were determined using the stratified proportional random sampling technique and the Slovin formula. The data collection technique used in this research was a Likert scale questionnaire with five alternative answers. In addition, the data analysis technique used was product-moment correlation and simple linear regression analysis, which was analyzed using the SPSS program. The results showed that organizational support had a positive and significant effect on employee work commitment by 24.6%. The rest is affected by other variables. This research implied that institutions need to increase organizational support so employees can work with high commitment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) describe the teacher's perception of the implementation of the principal's leadership function in Public Middle School, Nanggalo District, Padang City, (2) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the instruction function from teacher perceptions in Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City , (3) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the consulting function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, (4) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the participation function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, ( 5) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the delegation function from the perceptions of teachers at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City, and (6) describe the implementation of the leadership of the school principal from the implementation of the control function from teacher perceptions at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, totaling 57 samples. Sampling using simple proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on instruction was very good with the highest average of 4.7, (2) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on consultative was very good with the highest average of 4.74, ( 3) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on participation is good with the highest average of 4.58, (4) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on delegation is very good with the highest average of 4.67, and (5) the teacher's perception of the implementation leadership function based on good control with the highest average of 4.58.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkait seberapa besar pengaruh pemberian insentif non material terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai di Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Padang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Padang sebanyak 118 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah stratified random sampling dengan rumus Slovin pada tingkat kesalahan 10% dan memperoleh sampel sebanyak 65 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner sebanyak 45 item dengan model skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan kerja pegawai pada penelitian ini dikategorikan tinggi dengan tingkat capaian sebesar 81,3%. Pemberian insentif non material pegawai dalam penelitian ini sudah terlaksana dengan baik dengan tingkat capaian sebesar 81% dan dikategorikan baik. Berdasarkan uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh hasil sebesar Y=35,932+0,807(X). Berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000<0,05. Sedangkan nilai nilai t_hitung>t_tabel didapatkan hasil sebesar 6,362 > 2,004. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemberian insentif non material berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan keja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kota Padang.

Abstract

Effective communication has a crucial role in the realm of public relations. Communication effectiveness is realized when the message conveyed by the communicator is appropriate and identical to the message received by the communicant, without any reduction or addition of words that might give rise to wrong interpretations. In the context of public relations, effective communication has a major impact on the quality of relations between an organization and its public. A public relations practitioner's ability to communicate effectively has the potential to form a positive image of the organization. This article is the result of a literature review detailing aspects of communication and public relations, with the aim of realizing effective communication in the context of public relations. Effective communication strategies in public relations are directed at establishing positive relationships with the public as well as aspirations to create a positive view of the organization among the public. Therefore, it is important for a public relations practitioner to have superior communication skills.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze how effective communication strategies can address generational challenges and align organizational goals with millennial aspirations. A library study method was employed, focusing on reviewing and synthesizing relevant literature to establish a comprehensive conceptual framework. The findings highlight several critical factors influencing millennial motivation, including dynamic message delivery, recognition of contributions through fair compensation, and the creation of a safe, supportive work environment. Additionally, applying human relations principles and fostering open communication between leadership and millennials were identified as key strategies for improving engagement and productivity. The study concludes that adaptive and innovative organizational communication approaches are essential for addressing the diverse needs of millennials, ensuring their active participation, and driving organizational success. By investing in effective communication, organizations can foster a harmonious and productive work environment that motivates millennials to contribute positively. These findings provide valuable insights for leaders and managers seeking to enhance workplace dynamics and support the professional growth of the millennial workforce.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of the organizational communication climate. It is hoped that this study will support academics and practitioners in devising strategic organizational communication policies. A critical factor in determining organizational success is the communication climate, which encapsulates members' perceptions of the patterns, quality, and clarity of communication within their workplace. A positive communication climate enhances motivation, job satisfaction, and productivity, while a negative climate hinders the flow of information, provokes conflicts, and diminishes organizational effectiveness. To investigate these dynamics, this study employs a literature review method, focusing on the organizational communication climate's conceptual foundation, influential factors, and impact on organizational performance. The findings indicate that openness, effectiveness, and continuity of communication are pivotal in fostering a supportive work environment. Moreover, elements such as communication skills, social support, and the physical environment significantly contribute to establishing a conducive communication climate. By improving the communication climate, organizations can strengthen members' trust, encourage collaboration, and cultivate commitment to shared goals, thereby promoting the organization’s overall success.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang masalah yang muncul selama pelaksanaan proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5) di SMK Negeri Kota Padang. Penelitian ini menyelidiki berbagai aspek implementasi proyek, termasuk pemahaman tentang proyek, desain ekosistem, manajemen proyek, dokumentasi dan laporan hasil P5, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini melibatkan 243 guru dari SMK Negeri Kota Padang. Penelitian ini melibatkan 71 individu. Metode sampel acak proporsional stratified digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel.Penelitian ini menggunakan angket model skala likert yang memiliki lima opsi untuk jawaban. Setelah menguji validitas dan kredibilitas angket penelitian, data diolah menggunakan rumus rata-rata (mean). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya untuk meningkatkan profil siswa Pancasila di SMK Negeri Kota Padang berhasil, dengan skor rata-rata tertinggi 4,41 dan skor rata-rata terendah 3,84.

Abstract

Konsep diri dan motivasi berprestasi siswa adalah dua variabel penting perlu diteliti dalam ilmu administrasi pendidikan. banyak faktor yang mempengruhi motivasi berprestasi salah satunya konsep diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mendapatkan informasi mengenai konsep diri, motivasi berprestasi, serta pengaruh antara keduanya di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Pantai Cermin. Metode yang dipakai pada penelitian ini kuantitatif, sampelnya di ambil dengan teknik Stratified Propotional Random Sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, analisis korelasi dan regresi sederhana. Hasil pengolahan data didapati motivasi berprestasi sudah dalam kriteria baik, konsep diri sudah dalam kriteria baik, serta adanya hubungan yang signifikan sebesar 40,5% dari kedua variabel sehingga dapat disimpulkan konsep diri memiliki pengaruh terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa di Sekolah menengah pertama negeri kecamatan pantai cermin.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Teknologi artificial intelligence menawarkan potensi yang signifikan dalam mempengaruhi peran dan tugas para guru. Dengan memanfaatkannya, guru-guru dapat merancang pembelajaran yang menarik dan menyajikan pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang media pembelajaran berbasis artificial intelligence untuk mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode: User requirement yang diikuti oleh 15 guru di SMP Negeri se-Pariaman. Hasil: adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan dari 78,57(Cukup) menjadi 90,95 (Sangat Baik). Evaluasi terhadap pelaksanaan worksohp diperoleh hasil 3,66 (dalam skala 1-4), dengan persentase sebesar 91,46% (sangat baik). Evaluasi terhadap narasumber/instruktur berada pada capaian 3,73 (skala 1–4) (93,33%). Peserta terlihat sangat focus, aktif dan antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Kesimpulan: Peserta pelatihan telah memahami dan memiliki keterampilan praktis yang dibutuhkan oleh untuk menerapkan AI dalam merancang media pembelajaran untuk mendukung pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

Improvements in the quality of education in Indonesia are highly dependent on the competence and character of educators as the spearhead of learning system transformation. This article examines the concept and implementation of human resource management (HRM) in the education sector using an integrity-based and impact-based approach. By highlighting issues such as low professional integrity, competency gaps, and weak outcome-based evaluation systems, this paper proposes HR development strategies that are not only focused on administrative performance but also on tangible contributions to the transformation of students and society. This approach includes values-based recruitment, transformational training, and performance evaluation based on social change. Case studies from the Guru Penggerak program and lessons learned from international practices demonstrate that educators managed with principles of integrity and impact orientation can create an ethical, transformative, and sustainable learning environment. This article recommends reforms in education HR management policies to achieve an advanced and globally competitive Indonesian education system.
