Abstract

The Kato nan ampek is a polite language procedure that regulates Minangkabau society in socializing. Minangkabau customs originate from Islamic teachings, which are described in the terms "Adat Basandi Syarak", "Syarak Basandi Kitabullah", with the essence that Minangkabau customs cannot be separated from the influence of Islamic teachings. This research aims to describe the locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts in Kato Nan Ampek and the values contained in Kato Nan Ampek. This research uses qualitative methods with a literature study approach (library research) and preliminary research. The research results show that the use of locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts contained in Kato Nan Ampek is very important for understanding the culture and values of Minangkabau society. By observing these rules, society can minimize social disparities and strengthen relationships between individuals.Keywords: Ethics; Kato Nan Ampek; Values of Manners

Abstract

The cultivation of noble character during the elementary school years is an appropriate time for character development. At this stage, children begin to explore their external environment, which exposes them to various influences, including negative ones. Without proper guidance and direction, these influences may lead to moral degradation. Several cases were reported at MIN 1 Pasaman Barat regarding moral issues among students before the implementation of character development activities. These issues included lack of discipline in adhering to school rules, low motivation and academic performance, inappropriate speech, disobedience toward teachers, and rough behavior toward peers. These challenges highlight the need for character-building efforts among students at MIN 1 Pasaman Barat. This study aims to investigate the urgency, outcomes, and application of Asmaul Husna recitation practices in fostering noble character development at MIN 1 Pasaman Barat. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed in this research. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using critical analysis techniques. The research findings indicate that the practice of reciting Asmaul Husna contributes significantly to the cultivation of noble character values in students’ daily behavior. At MIN 1 Pasaman Barat, this activity is considered an act of worship for every Muslim, bringing blessings, opening students' hearts during the learning process to facilitate the acceptance of truth, and improving their fluency in reciting Asmaul Husna. Additionally, it encourages the practice of the 99 names of Allah (Asmaul Husna) in daily life.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of changes introduced by the Merdeka Curriculum on the quality of Arabic language teaching at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through observations, and interviews with several Arabic language teachers at MTsN 1 Pasaman Barat as the research subjects. Data analysis is conducted using Creswell's method, involving procedures such as categorizing data, direct interpretation, pattern formation, and data analysis. The findings indicate both positive and negative impacts. On the positive side, teaching methods have become more interactive and participatory, leveraging technology and digital media to encourage students to learn independently and collaboratively. However, negative impacts include unequal access to technology, additional workload for teachers, and challenges in adapting to new evaluation methods. To ensure effective and equitable implementation, these obstacles need to be addressed by providing comprehensive technology training, administrative support to reduce teachers' workload, development of clear and practical evaluation guidelines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Apakah terdapat hubungan teknologi pembelajaran dengan efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa arab. (2) Apakah terdapat hubungan sarana prasarana dengan efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab. (3) Apakah terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara teknologi pembelajaran dan sarana prasarana terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 100 mahasiswa PBA Pascasarjana UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa angket tertutup. Teknik analisa data untuk hipotesis satu dan hipotesis dua menggunakan pearson product moment dan untuk hipotesis tiga menggunakan uji korelasi ganda. Dari hasil analisa data dapat disimpulkan: (1) Terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara teknologi pembelajaran terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa arab dengan nilai korelasi 0,565 (2) Terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara sarana prasarana terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan nilai korelasi 0,516. (3) Terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara teknologi pembelajaran dan sarana prasarana terhadap efektifitas pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan nilai = 0,614.  This study aims to determine: (1) Whether there is a relationship between educational technology and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning. (2) Whether there is a relationship between facilities and infrastructure and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning. (3) Whether there is a significant relationship between educational technology and facilities and infrastructure on the effectiveness of Arabic language learning. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample consists of 100 graduate students from the Arabic Language Education program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling. The instrument employed is a closed-ended questionnaire. Data analysis for hypotheses one and two uses Pearson’s product-moment correlation, while hypothesis three uses multiple correlation tests. The results of the data analysis indicate: (1) There is a moderately strong relationship between educational technology and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning, with a correlation coefficient of 0.565. (2) There is a moderately strong relationship between facilities and infrastructure and the effectiveness of Arabic language learning, with a correlation coefficient of 0.516. (3) There is a strong relationship between educational technology and facilities and infrastructure on the effectiveness of Arabic language learning, with a correlation coefficient of 0.614.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in human development and improving the quality of life within communities. In Nagari Pilubang, Padang Pariaman Regency, the level of education remains low, which impacts the employment choices of most of the population, who rely on the agricultural and fisheries sectors. This research aims to improve community education through an educational assistance program focusing on religious study guidance and socialization activities. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with thematic data analysis techniques. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation at the research site. Data was analyzed by reducing data, presenting it as descriptive narratives, and drawing conclusions based on the identified themes. The study and socialization activities, such as the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle behavior guidance conducted at several schools in Nagari Pilubang, showed positive impacts for students who received additional learning and for the community, which became more aware of the importance of education and health. This program encouraged students to study more diligently, boosted their motivation, and fostered healthy living habits that benefit daily life. It is expected that, through this program, the Pilubang community will be able to develop their potential, improve their standard of living, and create sustainable change. This research also provides a deeper understanding of the community's support in enhancing education and welfare in Nagari Pilubang.

Abstract

This research aims to explain the analysis of the concept of social media communication ethics for the millennial generation from the perspective of the Qur'an. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method of literature analysis. This research applies primary sources and secondary sources. The results of the study show that there are 6 concepts of social media communication ethics from the perspective of the Qur'an, including Qaulan ma'rufan, kariman, maysuran, balighan, layyinan, and sadidan. Qaulan maysuran is one of the guidelines for communicating using language that is easy to understand and relieves feelings. The social media users who connect online vary, so it's important to consider the importance of communicative understanding. Communicators do not use language or write sentences that are difficult to understand. The goal is to unify perceptions between communicators and communicators, not just to improve communicative understanding. Therefore, it is very important to consider ethics when communicating, whether in person, in groups, with the masses, or through social media. However, before sharing an upload, social users should consider their role as communicators and communicators. The communicator must be responsible for all responses that may arise from the post and must be ready to receive criticism and feedback from the communicator.

Abstract

Listening instruction at SMP Islam Hasanuddin Malang still relies on traditional, teacher-centered methods, resulting in low student engagement and underutilization of technology. The aim of this study is to investigate the implementation of the flipped classroom method combined with a cooperative learning approach in teaching listening skills, and to evaluate its effectiveness for students at SMP Islam Hasanuddin Malang. This study adopts a quantitative approach and employs an experimental research method. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and testing. Data analysis involves normality testing, homogeneity testing, and hypothesis testing using the SPSS 21 software. The findings indicate that the implementation of the flipped classroom method with a cooperative learning approach in teaching listening skills consists of several stages: the teacher prepares learning materials in the form of Arabic audio recordings and distributes them for students to study independently at home. During face-to-face sessions, the teacher reviews the material with the students. Students work in small groups to discuss the content, complete exercises based on the audio texts, and share their understanding with their peers. Evaluation is conducted both individually and in groups, with dedicated sessions for self-reflection. The use of the flipped classroom method with a cooperative learning approach has been proven effective in teaching listening skills. This is supported by a statistical significance value of sig = 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.
