Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the design of a Windows-based learning application for computer network hardware. In the context of education, providing computer network hardware is often a challenge, especially in terms of understanding complex concepts. Therefore, interactive and interesting learning materials are needed to help students understand the material better. The application is designed using an interactive multimedia approach, combining text, images, animations, and videos to present information in a computer network. The design process includes needs analysis, user interface design, and development of program-related content. Application testing is carried out to ensure that the application meets learning objectives and can be used effectively by students. The results of the study show that this application not only improves students' understanding of computer networks but also provides a more enjoyable learning experience. Therefore, hopefully this learning application can be an effective tool in the teaching and learning process in educational environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of web-based learning evaluation using Kahoot as an innovation to enhance evaluation quality in the digital era. Technological transformation requires teachers to implement evaluation methods that are more interactive and efficient compared to traditional evaluations, which tend to be monotonous and less engaging. Kahoot, as a web-based evaluation platform, offers an interactive quiz model with gamification elements that can improve students’ motivation, participation, and engagement. This research employs a literature review method by examining journal articles, books, proceedings, and research reports published within the last five years. The analysis was conducted using a content analysis approach to produce theoretical synthesis regarding the effectiveness, benefits, and challenges of using Kahoot in learning evaluation. The findings indicate that Kahoot plays a significant role in supporting more engaging learning evaluations through game mechanics, leaderboards, immediate feedback, and dynamic visual displays. The platform also assists teachers in improving evaluation efficiency by providing automatic and real-time results. However, Kahoot presents several limitations, such as dependence on stable internet connectivity, the need for adequate devices, limited types of questions, and the necessity of training for both teachers and students. Despite these challenges, Kahoot’s potential as an evaluation tool remains high due to its ability to enhance students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Therefore, integrating Kahoot into learning evaluation can be an effective strategy to foster more innovative learning processes aligned with the needs of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Generative AI (LLMs), such as ChatGPT, on students' writing skills and academic integrity through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 15 relevant articles. The synthesis results reveal a significant duality effect, creating a dilemma between efficiency and quality. On one hand, LLMs are proven to be effective assistive co-pilots, which clearly enhance the technical efficiency of writing, accelerate the research workflow, and improve text cohesion and precision. However, this convenience triggers a substance quality crisis because students experience cognitive over-reliance, leading to Academic Deskilling the loss of the ability to independently practice critical reasoning and idea synthesis. This dependency is exacerbated by blind reliance on AI output and vulnerability to hallucinations that threaten the originality of the work. The consequence is a shift in the form of misconduct to the sophisticated practice of prompt engineering. To address these challenges, the literature emphasizes the necessity of pedagogical redesign and assessment redesign, which must focus on establishing ethics that ensure full transparency and accountability from students, and designing tasks that demand personal synthesis and reflective thinking.
