Abstract

This study examines the economic interpretation of Surah Quraish and its relationship with the principles of modern sharia economic law. Surah Quraysh emphasizes important values in business, such as perseverance, unity, good branding, and a balance between earning a living and worship. The principle of diligence and hard work reflects the importance of halal and independent business in the sharia economy, while unity supports the concept of cooperation in collective economic activities such as sharia cooperatives. Good branding is in line with the values of transparency and trust in Islamic business. The balance between worship and business reflects the principle of maqashid sharia, which is to maintain welfare while adhering to religious values. The principle of after-business tawakal also reflects risk management within the permissible limits, avoiding speculative practices that are not in accordance with the sharia economy. This article concludes that the interpretation of Surah Quraish provides an ethical foundation for modern sharia economic law, emphasizing the balance between material and spiritual goals in achieving prosperity based on Islamic teachings

Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of disclosure of family conflicts on social media from the perspective of Islamic law, with particular emphasis on the social and psychological effects and violations of sharia values. Qualitative research methods were used through the analysis of the texts of the Qur'an, Hadith, and Islamic legal literature, as well as case studies of viral conflicts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter. The results showed that this practice contradicts the principles of ghibah (gossip), namimah (divisive gossip), and ifk (false accusations). These principles violate family privacy and the honor of al-'irdh as part of maqashid syaria. The spread of conflict in the digital public sphere causes greater problems, emotional distress, social stigma, and the separation of family relationships, as seen in viral inheritance, polygamy, and intergenerational conflicts. Solutions offered by Islamic law include the concept of islah, or reconciliation, which emphasizes digital ethics education, mediation by neutral parties, and closed conflict resolution. First, deliberation with good intentions, second, the application of the principle of forgiveness (al-'afw), third, raising awareness about the long-term impact of conflict exposure, and fourth, setting boundaries of privacy on social media. This study found that to maintain family harmony in the digital age, sharia-based ethics education and the principle of islah must be combined. The academic results enhance Islamic legal research on social media dynamics. On the other hand, the practical consequences offer guidelines for practitioners and families to resolve conflicts in a way that is in accordance with Islamic values. Strengthening digital literacy based on prudence and optimizing community-based mediation are two main recommendations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Indonesian Waqf Board (BWI) Regulation No. 01 of 2020 concerning the Management of Productive Waqf within the Sinergi Foundation, located in Bandung City. The regulation was issued as an operational guideline for nazhir (waqf managers) to manage waqf assets professionally, productively, and accountably. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Sinergi Foundation has implemented the principles outlined in the BWI regulation effectively through an established institutional system, a social investment-based management strategy, and the application of transparent and digital-based governance. However, several challenges persist, such as the limited availability of professional human resources in waqf management and the need for more detailed derivative regulations. This study recommends enhancing nazhir capacity, strengthening monitoring systems, and expanding stakeholder collaboration to achieve sustainable and impactful productive waqf management for society

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic monetary and fiscal policy in optimizing resource allocation and wealth distribution to realize economic justice within the Islamic economic system. The method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis of Islamic monetary instruments (such as Shariah-compliant fiat money, sukuk, and profit-sharing-based financing) as well as Islamic fiscal instruments (primarily zakat, infaq, sadaqah, waqf, and sharia-compliant taxes). The results indicate that integrated Islamic monetary and fiscal policies can reduce economic disparities through productive allocation mechanisms and equitable distribution, in accordance with maqashid shariah. Further discussion outlines the implementation challenges and development opportunities for such policies in Indonesia. The implication of this research is the importance of synergy between monetary and fiscal authorities in designing policies that are not only stable, but also inclusive and equitable.

Abstract

Abstract This conceptual study employs a comparative fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) perspective to analyze Qardh al-Hasan (benevolent, interest-free loans) as an instrument for urban financial inclusion in Bandung, Indonesia. Through a systematic literature review enhanced with jurisprudential analysis, the research examines divergent interpretations across Islamic legal schools (madhahib) and their implications for implementing Qardh al-Hasan within Bandung's MSME sector. The study aims to: (1) analyze comparative fiqh debates on Qardh al-Hasan as a developmental tool, (2) identify operational variations in different Muslim-majority urban contexts, and (3) formulate an inclusive governance model synthesizing juristic flexibility with contemporary urban needs. Findings reveal that while classical fiqh emphasizes Qardh al-Hasan's charitable nature, contemporary juristic innovations (takyīr fiqhi) permit structural adaptations that enhance sustainability without compromising Sharia principles. The proposed Tripartite Partnership Model integrates comparative fiqh insights with urban governance theory, offering a flexible framework adaptable to Bandung's socio-economic landscape while maintaining juristic integrity. This research contributes to the discourse on Islamic financial inclusion by demonstrating how juristic pluralism can inform practical policy solutions for urban poverty alleviation.
