Abstract

The KKN program as a model of Community Service can be directed at efforts to build community capacity to be more advanced, independent and highly competitive. In accordance with the potential of Bumi Asih Village, Palas South Lampung District, KKN is intervened through Entrepreneurship Training for Management and Members of Karang Taruna. The training will motivate Karang Taruna members to continue to innovate and adapt to market conditions, dare to try new products, maximize services and expand markets to face competition and create new, more creative markets. Karang Taruna as a youth organization has a strategic role in developing villages. Karang Taruna Bumi Asih Village is committed to improving youth welfare through Entrepreneurship training to provide various skills and knowledge to spur innovative and inspiring creativity. The method applied is the ABCD (Assets Base Community Development) Pattern with stages; Discovery, Dreams, Design, and Destiny. With the ABCD pattern, youth organizations are directed to be able to recognize and identify social problems that occur, understand, formulate and implement appropriate resolution techniques. With training, Karang Taruna administrators and members will have a strong organizational foundation, be visionary, and have integrity in directing a better life in society. Karang Taruna's real actions can direct the lives of the younger generation in a way that can reduce the unemployment rate in Bumi Asih Village. Keywords: entrepreneurship; karang taruna, and youth independence. Abstrak: Program KKN sebagai model Pengabdian kepaad Masyarakat, dapat diarahkan pada upaya membangun kapasitas masyarakat agar lebih maju, mandiri dan berdayasaing tinggi. Sesuai potensi Desa Bumi Asih Kecamatan Palas Lampung Selatan, KKN diintervensikan melalui Pelatihan Kewirausahaan bagi Pengurus dan Anggota Karang Taruna. Pelatihan akan memotivasi anggota Karang Taruna untuk terus melakukan inovasi dan penyesuaian dengan kondisi pasar, berani mencoba produk baru, memaksimalkan layanan dan memperluas pasar guna menghadapi persaingan serta menciptakan pasar baru yang lebih kreatif. Karang Taruna sebagai organisasi kepemudaan memiliki peran strategis dalam membangun Desa. Karang Taruna Desa Bumi Asih berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pemuda melalui pelatihan Kewirausahaan guna membekali berbagai keterampilan dan pengetahuan guna memacu kreatifitas yang inovatif dan inspiratif. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Pola ABCD (Assets Base Community Development) dengan tahapan; Discovery, Dreams, Design, dan Destiny. Dengan pola ABCD, karang taruna diarahkan agar mampu menemukenali serta mengidentifikasi permasalahan sosial yang terjadi, memahami, merumuskan dan mengimplementasikan teknik penyelesaiannya secara tepat. Dengan Pelatihan, pengurus dan anggota Karang Taruna akan memiliki dasar organisasi yang kuat, visioner, dan memiliki integritas dalam mengarahkan kehidupan masyarakat yang lebih baik. Aksi nyata Karang Taruna dapat mengarahkan kehidupan generasi muda secara sehingga dapat mengurangi angka pengangguran di Desa Bumi Asih.Kata Kunci: kewirausahaan; karang taruna, dan kemandirian pemuda.

Abstract

This study explores the development of an adaptive human resource management (HRM) model designed to address the specific needs of working students at Universitas Terbuka, Indonesia’s foremost open and distance learning institution. The background of this research arises from the increasing number of students who must balance professional responsibilities with academic commitments, leading to challenges related to time constraints, high stress levels, and the demand for flexible academic services. The main objective of this study is to analyze the current HRM practices at Universitas Terbuka, identify barriers that hinder adaptiveness, and formulate strategies to create a more inclusive and responsive management model. A qualitative case study approach was used, involving semi-structured interviews with students, lecturers, tutors, and administrative staff, complemented by document analysis and field observations. The collected data were thematically analyzed to uncover major patterns of adaptive and non-adaptive HRM practices within the institution. The findings reveal that effective adaptive HRM must emphasize three essential dimensions: strengthening educators’ pedagogical and empathetic competencies, restructuring administrative services through responsive digital systems, and revising institutional policies to promote flexibility and inclusivity. Despite significant progress in digital transformation, bureaucratic rigidity continues to limit the realization of truly flexible open education, creating implicit barriers for working students. The study concludes that achieving adaptive HRM requires empathy, participatory policy formulation, and cultural transformation as key foundations. Theoretically, this research enriches HRM discourse in higher education, while practically, it provides recommendations for continuous professional development, flexible administrative structures, and policy reforms that prioritize the realities of working students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of learning media that support learning objectives by using interactive media based on bot Telegram on basic accounting equations in learning economics. The subjects in this study consisted of one economics teacher who taught in class XII IPS 1 and five students from the same class at SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak. The method used was descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The results showed that (1) basic accounting equation material is one of the basic materials that are difficult for students to understand; (2) students need interactive learning media that adopts technology, is interesting and innovative; (3) The use of Telegram bot-based learning media is considered the right solution to help achieve learning objectives on basic accounting equation material. Thus it is concluded that Telegram bot-based interactive learning media is needed in learning economics class XII SMA to facilitate teachers and students in the teaching and learning process.
