Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of using audiovisual media on improving the Arabic listening skills (maharatul istima') of class X students at MA Al- Maghfiroh. The method used was an experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of two groups, namely the experimental class which used audiovisual media in the form of animated videos and the control class which used regular audio media. The research instrument has been tested for validity and reliability, with 18 of the 20 instrument items declared valid and a Cronbach's Alpha value of 0.823. Data were analyzed through normality tests, homogeneity tests, t-tests, and N-Gain calculations. The results showed that the average posttest score for the experimental class (81.20) was higher than the control class (70.50). The N-Gain value for the experimental class is 0.55 (medium category), while for the control class it is 0.38 (medium category). The t-test shows that there is a significant difference between the two groups, with the calculated t value (2.410) greater than the t table (2.080) and a significance of 0.020. These findings indicate that the use of audiovisual media, especially animated videos, is significantly more effective in improving students' listening skills compared to regular audio media. These results recommend the application of audiovisual media in Arabic language learning to support the improvement of istima skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Google Translate in translating Arabic text into Indonesian. The aim is to examine translation accuracy, precision, and the relationship between translation and meaning. A descriptive qualitative method was used to explore the phenomenon in its specific context. Data were taken from classical and modern Arabic texts. The findings show that although Google Translate has seen improvements, it still faces some challenges. These include word-for-word translation, lack of understanding of cultural context, and gender terminology issues. While Google Translate can be a useful tool, it cannot completely replace human translators, especially in translating adverbs and complex grammatical structures. This research emphasizes the importance of translation quality and the role of digital tools in translation. By learning to use these tools effectively, users can improve their translation skills and enhance their ability to communicate across languages. Thus, while machine translation offers convenience and speed, human insight remains essential to achieve nuance, clarity and contextually appropriate meaning in Arabic-Indonesian translation.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang konsep pemikiran pendidikan Islam menurut Imam AlGhazali. Beliau adalah seorang sarjana terkemuka dalam sejarah intelektual Islam. Kontribusi Al-Ghazali terhadap pendidikan Islam cukup besar dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Menganalisis karya-karyanya, artikel ini menyoroti prinsip-prinsip dasar yang menunjang pendidikan Islam menurut pandangan Al-Ghazali. Konsep pendidikan menurut Imam Al Ghazali adalah tujuan pendidikan, metode pengajaran, pengembangan karakter dan hubungan antara ilmu pengetahuan dan agama. Selain itu, artikel ini juga mengupas pemikiran Al-Ghazali mengenai perkembangan sistem pendidikan Islam saat ini dan relevansinya dalam menjawab tantangan masa kini. Dengan memahami pemikiran Al-Ghazali tentang pendidikan Islam, kita berharap dapat terinspirasi untuk mengembangkan pendidikan Islam yang komprehensif dan penuh pemahaman.. luas, dan sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk mengetahui pemikiran pendidikan islam Al Ghazali.
