Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship learning and entrepreneurship motivation on entrepreneurial interest among students. The research method used is a survey with a quantitative approach. The research population is 150 students in the Business and Management Program at the Buddhist College in Indonesia. Sampling was done using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample size of 109. The collected data was analyzed using multiple linear regression to identify the influence of entrepreneurship learning and entrepreneurship motivation on the interest of young entrepreneurs. The findings show that entrepreneurship learning and entrepreneurship motivation have a significant influence on students' interest in becoming young entrepreneurs. This discovery has significant implications for the development of education and entrepreneurship development programs at universities to encourage students' interest and participation in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) and average years of education on the Open Unemployment Rate (OUR) in Lampung Province, Indonesia, within the framework of human resource management. Utilizing multiple regression analysis on secondary data from official sources, the research assesses both partial and simultaneous effects of LFPR and education on unemployment. The findings reveal that LFPR negatively and significantly affects OUR, where a one-unit increase in LFPR reduces unemployment by 0.244 units (p = 0.006). Conversely, the average years of education show a positive and significant correlation with unemployment, with each additional year increasing OUR by 0.702 units, indicating a mismatch between educational output and labor market demand. The model explains 62.8% of the variation in unemployment rates, highlighting the complex dynamics of workforce participation and education on employment. This study underscores the critical need for aligning educational curricula with market requirements and improving job readiness to effectively reduce unemployment. The results offer valuable insights for policymakers and human resource managers aiming to optimize labor productivity and address unemployment challenges in developing regions.

Abstract

Sigalovada Sutta sebagai ajaran etis dalam agama Buddha menawarkan panduan penting bagi perumah tangga dalam mencapai keseimbangan kebahagiaan duniawi dan spiritual di tengah tantangan modern, seperti perkembangan teknologi dan perubahan sosial yang memengaruhi keharmonisan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran ajaran Sigalovada Sutta dalam menciptakan kebahagiaan dan keharmonisan keluarga, khususnya dalam menghadapi berbagai perubahan sosial di era digital. Menggunakan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan perangkat Smart PLS, data diperoleh dari 30 responden umat Buddha di Lampung melalui kuesioner yang menilai pemahaman dan penerapan ajaran Sigalovada Sutta dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Sigalovada Sutta berkontribusi signifikan terhadap kebahagiaan perumah tangga dan membentuk tujuan hidup yang selaras dengan nilai moral Buddhis, meskipun tidak berdampak langsung pada keharmonisan yang lebih dipengaruhi oleh komunikasi dan manajemen konflik. Selain itu, terdapat efek tidak langsung di mana tujuan hidup yang sejalan dengan ajaran Sigalovada Sutta meningkatkan keharmonisan keluarga. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya penerapan ajaran Sigalovada Sutta secara realistis untuk menciptakan kebahagiaan dan keharmonisan keluarga yang seimbang di era modern.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of employee well-being on employee retention. A quantitative survey method was employed to collect data from 154 employees out of a population of 250 in an agricultural product processing company. A five-point Likert-scale questionnaire, validated and tested for reliability, served as the primary instrument for data collection. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including simple linear regression at a 0.05 significance level using SPSS version 24.0. The results revealed a significant and positive relationship between employee well-being and retention. Employees who experience a higher sense of well-being are likelier to remain with the company. Furthermore, longer tenure is associated with more stable levels of well-being and retention. These findings underscore the importance of prioritizing employee well-being as a strategic approach to fostering loyalty and minimizing turnover. Targeted managerial interventions, particularly during critical tenure periods, are essential for cultivating a sustainable and healthy work environment.

Abstract

Tujuan Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk meningkatkan sumber daya manusia milenial menghadapi 4.0 bagi muda-mudi Vihara Buddhagaya Pejambon-Pesawaran. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan webinar langsung. Metode mulai dari survei, focus group discussion, demonstrasi dan unjuk kerja. Materi pelatihan yang diberikan meliputi kiat-kiat meningkatkan SDM guna menghadapi tantangan dan peluang di era 4.0 untuk pemuda. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan keberhasilan dengan indikasi berupa tingginya antusiasme dan motivasi untuk mengikuti webinar serta pada setiap tahapan kegiatan pelatihan.
