Abstract

The skin is the largest organ of the human body and has an important role to protect the internal organs of the human body from direct external interference such as sunlight and scratches from sharp or blunt objects. Without skin, our bodies will not be formed perfectly. Just like other organs of the body, if the skin is not properly cared for, it will cause skin diseases, although skin diseases are not too dangerous in human life, skin diseases can make humans feel uncomfortable. This skin disease has many types that are almost the same, therefore an expert system is needed to find out what type of skin disease we are likely to experience. This application is made web-based. The method used by this expert system is the Forward Chaining method, in this expert system it will show several questions or symptoms experienced, then after the user answers the available questions, the diagnosis results will appear. Based on the design of the creation and implementation of an expert system to diagnose skin diseases using the forward chaining algorithm, it can be concluded that the expert system for diagnosing skin diseases using the forward chaining algorithm can help in diagnosing skin diseases suffered or experienced by someone, this expert system for diagnosing skin diseases is very useful for many people to find out what type of skin disease they are suffering from considering the many types of skin diseases whose symptoms are almost similar, this expert system is very dependent on the ability of experts (doctors) who are the source of knowledge in research on this skin disease, and the expert system designed is web-based, making it easier for users to diagnose their diseases anywhere and anytime.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has significantly transformed consumption patterns and marketing strategies, including within the agribusiness sector in the digital era. As consumers increasingly rely on online platforms, agribusiness actors are required to adapt through technological innovation. This study focuses on the development and analysis of an online sales system for diversified galangal-based products—such as shredded galangal (serundeng) and galangal powder—as a form of digital innovation to promote local products. The research applies a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the waterfall model, which includes stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. The system integrates Customer Relationship Management (CRM) concepts along with up selling and cross selling strategies to enhance customer loyalty and increase transaction value. The results indicate that the developed web-based platform successfully expands market reach, simplifies transactions, and provides valuable customer analytics to support business decision-making. The system features include a product catalog, online ordering, inventory management, social media integration, and a CRM module that facilitates customer data management and personalized promotions. The implementation of up selling and cross selling strategies proved effective in increasing the average transaction value and strengthening customer loyalty. Overall, this study demonstrates that the integration of information technology and CRM can serve as a strategic solution to enhance the competitiveness of local products made from traditional raw materials such as galangal in the modern digital marketplace.

Abstract

Pada era digital saat ini, proses rekrutmen karyawan secara manual dinilai kurang efisien dan tidak efektif, terutama dalam pengelolaan data pelamar kerja yang menumpuk serta tingginya risiko kehilangan dokumen penting. PT Jaya Masawan Putra Sejahtera menghadapi kendala serupa, di mana proses rekrutmen masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan belum terintegrasi dalam sistem yang modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem informasi rekrutmen berbasis web menggunakan metode Agile yang dapat mengotomatisasi proses rekrutmen mulai dari pengumpulan data pelamar, seleksi HRDistrasi, hingga penjadwalan wawancara. Dengan penerapan metode Agile, pengembangan sistem dilakukan secara bertahap dan fleksibel mengikuti kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem dirancang menggunakan PHP dan database MySQL dengan pendekatan pemodelan UML. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sistem informasi rekrutmen yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi kerja HRD, meminimalisir kesalahan HRDistrasi, memperluas jangkauan pelamar, serta memberikan kemudahan akses baik bagi pelamar maupun pihak perusahaan. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu menjadi solusi digital yang terintegrasi dalam mendukung proses rekrutmen karyawan yang lebih cepat, akurat, dan transparan di PT Jaya Masawan Putra Sejahtera.
