Abstract

The public relations skill of a community learning center (CLC) manager is a mediation between the institution and the public which will affect how the public perceives the institution's image. Furthermore, the managerial competence of CLC managers is assessed as the expertise to place the right people to do the appropriate work so that the managerial process can be optimized. A CLC manager in Malang Raya carries out his duties and functions through various leadership styles ranging from directing, coaching, supporting, and delegating leadership styles. The study aims to measure the influence of public relations skills and managerial competence on the leadership style of CLC managers using quantitative research methods with a sample of 39 CLC managers in Malang Raya by distributing questionnaires in the google forms that have been tested for validity and reliability to collect data. The data that has been collected is tested using the SPPSS application. Then the research hypothesis was analysed using multiple regression analysis techniques which showed that public relation skill and managerial competence had a significant partial influence on the leadership style of CLC managers in Malang Raya. Furthermore, the leadership style of CLC managers in Malang Raya is also influenced simultaneously by the variables of public relations skills and managerial competence, this is evidenced by the results of the F test, namely Fcount 16.283> Ftable 3.25. Then the value of R2 shows that public relations skills and managerial competence affect the improvement of the leadership style of CLC managers by 79.3%. Based on this research, CLC managers in Malang Raya could improve their leadership by optimizing their public relations skills and managerial competencies. Consequently, the policy makers in the local area can optimize this through the implementation of various relevant technical guidance or training.

Abstract

Gagrak Yogyakarta is a traditional Javanese attire in the Yogyakarta style that is rich in meaning in each of its components. It is imperative for the younger generation to acquire knowledge of the various components and meanings of traditional culture to ensure its preservation in the face of the increasingly massive cultural shifts that are occurring. The study was carried out in Yogyakarta, and it involved cultural experts. It utilized a qualitative research method with a case study design. Non-formal education is important in preserving culture, especially through training program that pass on local values, skills and traditions. The training program prioritizes skills based on local resources, in this case related to the provisions of the use of regional traditional attire called Gagrak Yogyakarta. The implementation of this training program furnishes the community with a comprehensive learning platform that meticulously examines the semantics and utilization of each component in Gagrak Yogyakarta. This training program was implemented as a component of the broader initiative aimed at safeguarding the cultural heritage of Yogyakarta, with a particular focus on the proper utilization of Yogyakarta’s traditional attire.

Abstract

Fokus kajian ini adalah memaparkan pemberdayaan masyarakat khususnya peningkatan kompetensi para guru sekolah dasar dan menengah di Kabupaten Bantul. Kegiatan ini digagas sebagai salah satu solusi atas kendala para guru yang kesulitan dalam menulis serta mempublikasikan karya tulis ilmiah. Hal tersebut menjadi sebab mengapa mayoritas purnabakti dalam golongan IV/a, mengingat penulisan karya tulis ilmiah merupakan syarat mutlak untuk pengajuan kenaikan pangkat dan golongan. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan dalam bentuk bimbingan teknis dalam dua hari dengan menggunakan beberapa metode ceramah, diskusi dan learning by project. Setiap peserta memperoleh paparan materi dan kesempatan untuk berdiskusi mengenai penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Selanjutnya peserta akan dibimbing secara lebih intens melalui penugasan menggunakan metode learning by project. Hasil yang diperoleh melalui kegiatan ini adalah 1) peserta mengetahui dasar-dasar penulisan karya tulis ilmiah; 2) peserta mengetahui tata cara penulisan karya tulis ilmiah; 3) peserta mengetahui cara publikasi karya tulis ilmiah; 4) peserta dapat membuat karya tulis ilmiah dan mempublikasikannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perilaku digital orang tua terhadap pola parenting pada anak usia remaja. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif-inferensial digunakan, dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket berskala Likert kepada 400 responden di Kabupaten Karawang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perilaku digital orang tua bervariasi, dengan smartphone sebagai perangkat utama dan internet sebagai sumber informasi serta pembelajaran, sementara media sosial menjadi saluran utama akses informasi; (2) pola parenting yang diterapkan sangat positif dan mendukung perkembangan anak; dan (3) terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara perilaku digital dengan pola parenting. Penelitian ini memberikan temuan baru mengenai keterkaitan perilaku digital orang tua dengan pola pengasuhan di era modern. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya program yang memperkuat literasi digital dan keterampilan adaptif orang tua agar pemanfaatan teknologi mendukung pengasuhan positif, bukan menggantikan peran penting orang tua dalam perkembangan remaja.
