Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Beban Kerja dan Fasilitas Kerja terhadap Efektivitas Kerja pada Balai Prasarana Permukiman WilayahSulawesi Selatan. Pengumpulan data menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari kuesioner dalam bentuk G-form. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai Balai Prasarana Permukiman Wilayah Sulawesi Selatan pada Satuan Kerja Wilayah 1 yang berjumlah 35 responden. Hasil kuesioner tersebut telah diuji validitas dan reabilitasnya, dan juga telah diuji asumsi klasik berupa asumsi normalitas dan asumsi heterokedastisitasnya. Metode analisis data menggunakan teknik Analisa regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan terbukti atau diterima dimana hasil uji hipotesis yang pertama negatif dan signifikan yang artinya bahwa Beban Kerja berpengaruh negative dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja. Dan hasil uji hipotesis yang kedua positif dan signifikan yang artinya Fasilitas Kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Efektivitas Kerja.

Abstract

This research examines the complex relationship between sports and international politics through the case study of sanctions imposed on Chelsea FC in the context of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This study aims to analyze how international conflicts can affect individual entities, particularly in terms of football club ownership. Utilizing the theory of complex interdependence as proposed by Keohane and Nye, this study employs a qualitative methodology with an explanatory case study approach, analyzing official documents from the UK government, Chelsea FC’s documentation, and international media coverage. The findings indicate that the application of smart sanctions against Chelsea FC through its owner, Roman Abramovich, reflects a significant evolution in the use of foreign policy instruments. Three main dimensions of British interest are identified: economic, aimed at disrupting the financial flows of Russian oligarchs; political, to strengthen the United Kingdom’s position in the post-Brexit landscape; and sociocultural, leveraging the Premier League as a form of soft power. This research contributes to demonstrating how modern sports have transformed into an integral part of the complex web of international relations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of organizational climate and quality of work life in improving employee performance. A conducive organizational climate and a good quality of work life are believed to create a productive work environment, increase motivation, and strengthen employee commitment to the organization. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with survey techniques on a number of employees at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of South Sulawesi Province. Data analysis was carried out using Partial Least Square Analysis (PLS) is a variant-based structural equation analysis (SEM) that can simultaneously test measurement models as well as structural model tests to test causality relationships between latent variables constructed. The results of the study show that the quality of work life has a significant effect on employee performance, the organizational climate has a significant effect on employee performance. This shows that efforts to improve employee performance should be focused on improving the quality of work life, such as improving work balance and supportive working conditions. These findings indicate the importance of management's efforts in creating a supportive work culture and providing facilities and policies that support work-life balance for employees so that performance can improve.

Abstract

Research on performance management-based views has been the main framework of many human resource management research, the literature shows that much of the research is conducted with a major emphasis on performance management-based views in exploring the improvement of organizational citizenship behavior through employee competence and organizational commitment as a mediating variable. This study aims to analyze the influence of employee competencies on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) behavior with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. OCB is the voluntary behavior of employees that goes beyond their formal duties and contributes to the effectiveness of the organization. Employee competencies, which include knowledge, skills, and attitudes, are considered an important factor in driving OCB behavior. However, the relationship between competence and OCB can be influenced by the level of organizational commitment that employees have. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on a number of employees at the Makassar City Regional Drinking Water Company. The sample determination technique uses a simple random sampling technique, so that a sample of 86 people was obtained. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis using the help of Smart PLS 4 software. The results of the analysis show that competence has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, competence has a significant effect on organizational commitment and, competence has a significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior through organizational commitment. This research provides practical implications for organizational management in designing competency development programs that are integrated with efforts to increase organizational commitment, in order to encourage Organizational Citizenship Behavior that contributes to overall organizational performance.

Abstract

Literature indicates that many studies are exploring organisational performance with an emphasis on both transformational and transactional leadership styles; unfortunately, this study finds that there are few empirical studies explaining the performance of SMEs, especially tourism SMEs from developing countries, with a focus on transactional leadership style and AI. In doing so, as a research novelty of this study, it is important to investigate the moderating effect of AI on the relationship between transactional leadership style and the performance of SMEs in emerging countries. Drawing on a sample of 192 tourism small and medium-sized enterprises from an emerging country, which is Indonesia, this study applies a quantitative research approach with a purposive sampling technique and analyses the research data through a structural equation modelling approach. The findings of this study reveal that transactional leadership positively and significantly influences organisational performance, with artificial intelligence serving as a positive and significant moderator. Specifically, the presence of artificial intelligence technologies enhances the effectiveness of transactional leadership by facilitating decision-making processes and improving operational efficiency. This study identifies that the extent of artificial intelligence integration is a moderating factor, recommending that organisations must strategically adopt artificial intelligence technologies to maximise leadership effectiveness. This research is also expected to contribute theoretically and managerially to the literature on leadership, organisational study, and technology by emphasising the critical moderating role of artificial intelligence in increasing organisational outcomes, offering practical implications for leaders aiming to leverage technology for improved performance.

Abstract

This study examines the leadership values and governance ethics reflected in the character of Tobirama Senju, a fictional character from the Naruto series, as a reflection and inspiration for today's leaders. Tobirama Senju is known as a firm, innovative leader, and has a high commitment to justice and stability of government. Through a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study analyzes the various actions, decisions, and policies taken by Tobirama in the context of a fictional world, then relates them to the theories of leadership and ethics of modern government. The results of the analysis show that Tobirama not only prioritizes the aspect of power, but also balances it with the principles of morality, transparency, and social responsibility. Values such as integrity, justice, policy innovation, and concern for the welfare of the community are the main foundations of his leadership. The study also highlights the relevance of Tobirama's character as an adaptive and ethical leadership model in the midst of the challenges of the times, and provides recommendations for today's leaders to internalize these values in government practice. Thus, this research contributes to enriching the discourse of government science through an interdisciplinary approach that combines fictional character analysis with real needs in contemporary governance.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konfigurasi kekuasaan global yang direpresentasikan melalui struktur pemerintahan fiktif “World Government” dalam anime One Piece, dengan menyoroti praktik otoritarianisme, dinamika hegemoni, serta bentuk-bentuk resistensi dari aktor-aktor non negara. Pendekatan yang digunakan bersifat kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis wacana sebagai metode utama, menguraikan simbol, narasi, dan ideologi yang membentuk imaji pemerintahan dunia dalam karya populer tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa World Government dalam One Piece mencerminkan karakteristik rezim otoriter modern yang menjustifikasi kekuasaan sentral melalui legalitas birokratis, kontrol informasi, dan penindasan terhadap oposisi. Sementara itu, kelompok bajak laut Topi Jerami (Straw Hat Pirates), merepresentasikan gerakan perlawanan yang berlandaskan pada nilai kebebasan, keadilan sosial, dan hak individu melawan absolutisme negara. Analisis ini mengungkap bahwa One Piece berfungsi bukan hanya sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai ruang reflektif terhadap isu-isu politik kontemporer seperti korupsi kekuasaan, propaganda, serta perjuangan rakyat melawan dominasi struktur global. Dengan demikian, kajian ini memperluas horizon Ilmu Pemerintahan melalui integrasi antara budaya populer dan teori politik, menegaskan pentingnya membaca fenomena otoritarianisme dan perlawanan dari perspektif representasi budaya digital masa kini.
