Abstract

Kemampuan membaca kritis merupakan keterampilan penting dalam penguasaan bahasa Inggris yang memungkinkan siswa Sekolah Penabur, Tangerang Selatan untuk memahami, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi teks secara mendalam. Namun, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan ini karena keterbatasan dalam mengorganisasi informasi dan memahami hubungan antara ide-ide utama dalam teks. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meneliti efektivitas strategi pemetaan pikiran (mind mapping) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kritis siswa. Pemetaan pikiran adalah teknik visualisasi yang membantu siswa menghubungkan konsep-konsep utama dan mendetailkan informasi dengan cara yang terstruktur. Penelitian ini melibatkan dua kelompok siswa, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang menggunakan strategi pemetaan pikiran dan kelompok kontrol yang tidak menggunakan strategi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan pemetaan pikiran menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan analisis kritis teks. Selain itu, strategi ini juga memperkuat keterampilan siswa dalam mengorganisasikan informasi secara logis dan mendalam. Dengan demikian, pemetaan pikiran dapat dijadikan sebagai metode yang efektif dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris untuk mengembangkan keterampilan membaca kritis. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya pelatihan pemetaan pikiran dalam kurikulum pengajaran bahasa untuk meningkatkan kompetensi literasi siswa.

Abstract

This study explores the role of social media in building consumer trust in products in the digital era. Using a qualitative method, the research examines consumers' perspectives and experiences with social media as a transparent and interactive marketing platform. Based on in-depth interviews and content analysis, the study finds that consumer reviews on social media significantly influence purchasing decisions, especially those reviews that include visuals and testimonials from other users. Additionally, brand transparency and responsiveness to consumer feedback highlight the importance of openness in fostering trust. Educational content provided by brands also enhances consumers' positive perceptions, as it offers additional value beyond typical promotions. Direct interaction between consumers and brands on social media strengthens the emotional connection, creating a sense of appreciation and trust toward the brand. The findings provide practical insights for companies to strategically leverage social media in establishing sustainable relationships with consumers. By focusing on aspects of consumer review credibility, transparency, educational content, and responsive interaction, companies can increase consumer trust in their products.

Abstract

Along with the development of information technology, companies and organizations must develop an information system strategy that is based on the business strategy that has been prepared by the company. The purpose of designing a business strategy and information system strategy is to strengthen the power of competitiveness in the technological era by implementing a strategic information system by considering and aligning business strategies that are in accordance with the conditions of the company's strengths. Educational institutions as companies providing educational services must also consider business strategies and information systems strategies to strengthen competition. This research will explain business strategy through process management at private tertiary institutions in region IV having an organizational vision and mission that is designed based on organizational analysis and competition in other PTS in region IV. The vision and mission are analyzed using the strategic option generator (SOG) model to determine the right business strategy. To achieve the vision and mission, an information system strategy must also be designed using the balanced scorecard (BSC) model. Then the resulting business strategy is aligned with the information system strategy to produce an implementation plan that has a competitive advantage with the information system strategy and PTS Fostered business strategy in region IV and translated into a future application portfolio.

Abstract

Consumer loyalty is a critical aspect of business sustainability and competitive success. Companies often implement discounts and promotions as strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones. This article aims to explore the role of discounts and promotions in enhancing consumer loyalty through a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with consumers and case studies of several companies actively applying discount and promotional strategies. The findings indicate that discounts and promotions positively impact consumer loyalty, particularly by strengthening emotional attachment and the desire to return for future transactions. However, the effectiveness of these strategies depends on several factors, including the frequency of promotions, relevance to consumer needs, and the perceived value. Additionally, the study found that loyalty developed through discounts and promotions is often temporary and requires follow-up strategies to sustain consumer commitment to the brand. This research provides insights for companies on the importance of designing sustainable and relevant discount and promotional programs for consumers. By gaining a deeper understanding of the factors influencing loyalty, companies can improve customer experiences while maintaining a competitive advantage in the market.

Abstract

Statistika terapan merupakan cabang ilmu statistika yang fokus pada aplikasi statistika dalam berbagai bidang. Statistika terapan memiliki peran penting dalam membantu menyelesaikan berbagai masalah di berbagai bidang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran statistika terapan dalam bidang bisnis, kesehatan, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yakni dengan studi literatur. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yakni melalui tiga tahapan diantaranya reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam berbagai bidang bisnis, medis, dan lingkungan, statistika memegang peranan penting. Di sektor bisnis, statistika digunakan untuk menganalisis keuangan perusahaan, merencanakan strategi pemasaran, dan meramalkan tren pasar. Sementara itu, dalam dunia medis, statistika menjadi kunci dalam merancang uji coba klinis dan mengembangkan terapi atau obat baru. Di ranah lingkungan, para ahli menggunakan statistika untuk memonitor polusi udara, air, dan tanah, serta mempelajari perubahan iklim. Penerapan statistika ini berkontribusi dalam pengambilan keputusan yang lebih akurat, meningkatkan efisiensi program-program, dan memperdalam pemahaman terhadap berbagai fenomena dan masalah yang kompleks.
