Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the enhancement of character education and its implications on Islamic education. Character education plays a crucial role in shaping a generation with noble character and integrity. Within the context of Islamic education, the instilled character values align with religious teachings that prioritize morals and ethics. This research employs a qualitative method with a literature study approach to investigate relevant literature. The findings demonstrate that the strengthening of character education has a substantial impact on the development of Islamic education, encompassing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the challenges faced in implementing the curriculum at the elementary school level, particularly regarding the incompatibility of the curriculum with the learning motivation of students at SDN Bangbayang. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that most of the material in the curriculum has not been fully adapted to the local context, interests, and learning needs of students. This has an impact on the lack of learning motivation, active participation, and student involvement in the learning process. In addition, limited resources and teacher training in implementing the curriculum flexibly are also inhibiting factors. This study recommends the need to adjust the curriculum based on student needs and teacher training so that learning is more contextual and motivating. Thus, it is hoped that a more relevant curriculum can improve the quality of education and encourage students to be more active in learning. This adjustment is also important to create a learning environment that is more inclusive and responsive to student needs.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal guna meningkatkan pemahaman sosial siswa di SDN Bangbayang, Kecamatan Gekbrong Kabupaten Cianjur. Latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS yang disebabkan oleh media pembelajaran yang kurang kontekstual dan tidak menarik. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui lima tahapan: identifikasi kearifan lokal, perancangan media, dan implementasi di kelas, monitoring dan evaluasi serta tindak lanjut pasca PKM. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah membuat media yang dikembangkan berupa PowerPoint interaktif, video edukatif, dan game sederhana yang mengangkat nilai-nilai budaya lokal seperti gotong royong, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan pembuatan media pembelajaran interaktif, adanya antusiasme siswa dan respon positif guru terhadap media yang digunakan. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal dalam media pembelajaran interaktif mampu memperkuat relevansi materi pelajaran dengan kehidupan siswa, serta menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang efektif dan bermakna. Diperlukan pengembangan berkelanjutan dan pelatihan bagi guru untuk memperluas dampak kegiatan ini.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are one of the essential competencies that students must master to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, characterized by the rapid development of technology and automation. Immersive learning, which utilizes technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), is considered effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills. This article aims to review the literature on the role of immersive learning in improving students' creative thinking skills through five main stages: topic selection, literature search, literature selection, analysis and synthesis, and organizing the writing. The literature review findings show that immersive technology facilitates students to learn in interactive and multidimensional environments. This condition allows students to think critically, generate new ideas, and solve problems innovatively. Furthermore, the literature review results indicate that immersive learning plays an important role in enhancing the aspects of creative thinking skills, including fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration, through its interactive features and environments that provide various simulations
