Abstract

The Cavendish banana is known for its quality attributes, including price, taste, skin color, cleanliness, and more. These attributes, when meeting consumer expectations, can lead to high consumer satisfaction. Improving these quality attributes can enhance consumer satisfaction and encourage increased consumption of the fruit. This study aims to analyze the impact of the quality attributes of Cavendish bananas on consumer satisfaction in Sidoarjo. The research was conducted on consumers who purchase directly from small vendors and supermarkets in Sidoarjo using the Accidental Sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and observations, with a sample size of 12 individuals from street vendors and supermarkets in Sidoarjo. The data analysis method used was qualitative, specifically Qualitative Cross Section data. The results indicate that the majority of Cavendish banana consumers in Sidoarjo responded positively to the attributes of the bananas, including price, taste, quality, and the cleanliness of the display areas.

Abstract

Agrotourism in Indonesia stands as a vital potential for development support. Indonesia boasts numerous agrotourism destinations, with one such developed site located in Turekisa Village, Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). This tourist destination has gained prominence due to its breathtaking natural beauty, often dubbed as the "land above the clouds," a reputation that continues to grow alongside the increasing number of visitors to the hills and the abundant natural resources, particularly the substantial coffee production at Bukit Wolobobo. The coffee cultivated around Bukit Wolobobo is of the Arabica variety. The aim of this study is to analyze strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats, and to determine development strategies for coffee-based agrotourism in Turekisa Village, Ngada Regency. The research methodology employs SWOT analysis, drawing data from interviews with six key informants: the Head of Agriculture Department, Head of Tourism Department, Agricultural Extension Officer, Chairperson of the Coffee Farmers' Group, Tourism Management, and Community Leaders. The findings of this study indicate placement in Quadrant I, suggesting that the coffee plantation agrotourism in Turekisa Village needs to be maintained and further enhanced given its significant quality potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of workload and job satisfaction on employee performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the food and beverage industry in Surabaya. This study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design and involved 200 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results showed that workload had a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The regression model showed that both independent variables explained 44.7% of the variation in employee performance. These findings support the Job Demands-Resources model and emphasize the importance of workload management and job satisfaction enhancement to drive optimal performance in SMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of communication, commitment, and compensation on employee job satisfaction at XYZ company. Using quantitative methods and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, this study involved 222 employees as samples. The results showed that communication and commitment have a significant effect on job satisfaction, both directly and through compensation mediation. Open communication and strong commitment from employees increase their job satisfaction, especially if supported by fair compensation. These findings reinforce the importance of internal factors in creating high job satisfaction, which ultimately has a positive impact on employee productivity and loyalty.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Desa Pabean di Kecamatan Sedati, Kabupaten Sidoarjo, memiliki potensi ekonomi tinggi karena posisinya yang strategis di sekitar Bandara Juanda dan kawasan industri. Namun, pelaku usaha kecil perempuan di wilayah ini masih banyak yang mengandalkan metode pemasaran konvensional. Tujuan Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital dan strategi branding bagi ibu-ibu pelaku UKM melalui penerapan teknologi digital. Metode metode pelaksanaan meliputi survei, pelatihan digital marketing dasar, pelatihan perlindungan hukum, dan pendampingan langsung dalam pembuatan akun bisnis online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta hingga 88,7% terkait penggunaan platform digital dan branding produk. Lebih dari 80% peserta aktif menggunakan media sosial untuk memasarkan produk. Kesimpulan digitalisasi dan branding teknologi berdampak nyata dalam meningkatkan daya saing UKM perempuan serta memperkuat potensi ekonomi digital di tingkat desa. Artikel ini juga menyajikan statistik kontribusi UMKM perempuan terhadap ekonomi nasional dan analisis empiris yang menguatkan efektivitas model pemberdayaan berbasis teknologi digital
